THE WARRANT ON THE CARS WERE OUT AT 36K MILES AND IN 2014. THE MOTORS BOTH STOPPED WORKING PAST THIS PERIOD TIME BUT HAVE READ THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THESE SAME VEHICLES. THE WINDOWS GO DOWN BUT START MAKING A LOUD CLICKING SOUND AND WILL NOT GO BACK UP WITH OUT HOLDING YOU HAND ON IT, CREATING A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION WITH SMALL CHILDREN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 MAZDA CX-9. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON SIX OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 68,000.
BRAKES PREMATURELY FAILED AFTER FEELING NUMB AND SQUISHY. UPON DIAGNOSTIC BY A LOCAL MECHANIC, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER HAD A LEAK. IN ADDITION, THE ABS, TRACTION CONTROL AND EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHTS CAME ON WHEN THE SYMPTOMS WERE PRESENT. ESTIMATED COST OF REPAIR $1250.
