I NOTICED MY VEHICLE WAS STARTING TO DRIVE FUNNY. I KEEP UP ON IT VERY WELL, ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, WASH IT OFTEN, FRESH ALIGNMENTS, NEW TIRES WHEN NEEDED. SO I THOUGHT SOMETHING WAS UP AND TOOK IT INTO A GARAGE. I WAS CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND WAS TOLD I HAD A HOLE IN MY PASSENGER SIDE RIGHT SUBFRAME. I WAS VERY SURPRISED BY THIS BECAUSE THE CAR IS VERY CLEAN UNDERNEATH FOR THE YEAR AND IN GOOD CONDITION COMPARED TO THE USUAL NEW YORK RUST. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND THIS IS A ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS AROUND MY YEAR AND SADLY MANY PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS. MY VEHICLE HAS NO RECALLS AND MAZDA DOESN'T WANT TO TAKE CARE OF THE BILL SO SADLY I'M STUCK WITH A CAR THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED. *TR
TCM UNIT FAULTY, CAR ONLY HAS 82K MILES, READING ONLINE THIS SEEMS TO BE A FAR TOO COMMON PROBLEM, I BELIEVE THE UNIT IS FAULTY!
I RECEIVED A PAPER SAYING IT WAS RECALLED

THE CONTACT SUSTAINED CUTS, BURNS AND BRUISES ON THE LEFT ARM. THE CONTACT DROVE HIMSELF TO AN URGENT CARE MEDICAL FACILITY. THE CONTACT CALLED THE SESI MOTORS DEALER: (734-668-6100, LOCATED AT 3990 JACKSON RD, ANN ARBOR, MI 48103) AND WAS TOLD TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 133,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NEW ENGLAND MOTORS OF FITCHBURG (LOCATED AT 71 JOHN FITCH HWY, FITCHBURG, MA 01420) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT UNKNOWN WIRES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
I HAVE PRIMEWELL VALERA TOURING II TIRES THAT HAVE A DATE CODE OF 0215 AND THEY STILL HAVE AROUND 50% TREAD LEFT. THE SIDE WALLS ON ALL 4 TIRES ARE COMING APART, THEY ARE SPLIT ALMOST ALL THE WAY AROUND. THESE TIRES ARE ON MY DAUGHTERS CAR AND I DID NOT NOTICE THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE THE SPLITS WHERE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TIRE BUT FACING THE INSIDE, I FOUND THEM WHEN I WENT TO INSTALL THE SNOW TIRES. I CALLED PRIMEWELL AND THEY SAID THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THESE TIRES AND THEY WOULD NOT HELP ME AT ALL. THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS BRAND AND MODEL OF TIRE FOR THE SAME DEFECT AND READING MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SAME PROBLEM THE RECALL NEEDS TO BE UPDATED TO COVER MORE SERIAL NUMBERS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE DEALER HAD RESET THE SENSOR AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR WAS TURNED OFF. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 119,141.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2005 MAZDA 6. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE CONTACT STRUCK A DEER ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A COLLISION CENTER AND DEEMED DESTROYED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
MY VEHICLE DIED WHILE I WAS DRIVING AT A LOW SPEED INTO A PARKING LOT. I FOUND OUT THE ISSUE IS THE POSITIVE TERMINAL OF THE CAR BATTERY IS LOOSE, SO THE BATTERY CUTS IN AND OUT. ALSO, SINCE THE POSITIVE TERMINAL IS LOOSE, THE BATTERY ACID SPILLS OUT AND CORRODES THE CABLE. I HAVE SINCE REPLACED MY BATTERY WITH A NEW MAZDA CAR BATTERY, AND MY MECHANIC TIGHTENED THE POSITIVE TERMINAL BY INSERTING A METAL COIN (SINCE THE BATTERY HARNESS PART HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED). HOWEVER, I NOTICED TODAY THAT THERE IS CORROSION ON THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE, SO SOME BATTERY ACID IS LEAKING OUT OF MY NEW BATTERY. ALSO, I NOTICED THAT WHEN I START THE CAR, MOST TIMES THE CAR WILL DIE ON THE FIRST START AND NEED TO BE RESTARTED IN ORDER TO STAY ON. I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY VEHICLE B/C I AM AFRAID IT WILL DIE AGAIN WHILE I'M DRIVING IT. *TR

THERE IS A RECALL ON MY AIRBAGS AND I'M JUST WONDERING HOW MANY LETTERS AND WARNINGS I'M GOING TO GET BEFORE THEY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I HAVE HAD NO LESS THAN FOUR WARNINGS AND YET NO PARTS AND NO SOLUTION. THEY EITHER NEED TO FIX IT OR STOP WARNING ME ABOUT IT. I KNOW IT'S CRAP, THEY DON'T NEED TO TELL ME IT'S CRAP EVERY 4 MONTHS AND THEN REFUSE TO FIX IT.
TAKATA RECALL THE LACK OF INFORMATION ABOUT GETTING THIS REPAIRED ("NO PARTS ARE AVAILABLE" IS THE ONLY INFO I HAVE) IS UNACCEPTABLE. ON TOP OF THAT, I JUST SAT ON HOLD FOR ALMOST A HALF HOUR WAITING FOR MY CALL TO BE ANSWERED, AND THE REP PICKED UP, ACTED LIKE SHE COULDN'T HEAR ME ON THE PHONE AND HUNG UP ON ME. I HAVE A LETTER SAYING I SHOULDN'T LET PEOPLE RIDE IN THE FRONT SEAT OF MY CAR BECAUSE ITS UNSAFE, BUT THEN MAZDA'S SITE SAYS OH ITS SAFE ENOUGH, NEVER MIND MY DRIVER'S AIRBAG WHERE I SIT TO DRIVE THE [XXX] CAR IS AFFECTED TOO. WE HAVE BEEN RECEIVING RECALL NOTICES FOR OVER A YEAR STATING THAT THERE IS NO REMEDY FOR THIS PROBLEM. HOW IS THERE STILL IT FIX FOR THIS?
TAKATA..... THIS RECALL HAS BEEN ON GOING SINE JUNE 2014. THERE HAS BEEN NO RESULTS TO DATE. ONLY NEW REISSUE RECALL NUMBERS TO FOLLOW-UP ON. REPAIRS HAVE YET TO BE MADE ON AN ISSUE THAT COULD RESULT IN FATALITY.

VEHICLE TOTALED. *SMD THE CONSUMER SUFFERED A SWOLLEN AND BRUISED RIGHT KNEE, AND LUMP ON THE HEAD AND CONCUSSION FROM IMPACTING THE DOOR FRAME. LEFT DRIVER SEAT BECAME UNHINGED WHILE IN MOTION. IT LUNGES BACK AND DOES NOT SET IN PLACE. NO IMPACTS FROM ACCIDENTS. THE SWITCH TO LOWER/RAISE THE SEAT WORKS PERFECTLY. THE SEAT ROCKS BACK AND FORTH.

TAKATA RECALL FOR OVER A YEAR I HAVE BEEN CONTACTING MAZDA TO REPLACE MY PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE AIRBAGS. THEY HAVE CONTINOUSLY TOLD ME THE REPLACEMENT, WHICH IS AGAIN BEING MANUFACTURED BY TAKATA, IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. WITH THE SIGNIFICANT RISK OF DEATH OR INJURY MY CURRENT AIRBAGS POSE TO MYSELF AND MY PASSENGER I FEEL THIS ISSUE SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED IN A TIMELY MANNER. IF MAZDA IS UNABLE TO REPLACE MY AIRBAGS I FEEL I SHOULD BE PROVIDED A RENTAL CAR UNTIL THEY ARE ABLE TO REPLACE THEM.

TAKATA RECALL-I WOULD APPRECIATE ASSISTANCE BY MAZDA CONCERNING THE NEWEST RECALL CONCERNING THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG WHICH IS DEFECTIVE UNDER THE NEWEST TAKATA RECALL. MY DRIVER SIDE WAS PREVIOUSLY RECALLED AND IT WAS ON THE RECALL LIST ONE DAY AND OFF ANOTHER DAY, THEN PUT BACK ON AGAIN! PLEASE HELP ME OBTAIN DEALER STOCK FOR THIS NEWEST RECALL.

THE REAR SUSPENSION OF THIS CAR IS WEIRD, IN THAT IT IS LOWER ON ONE SIDE. IN MY CASE, THE REAR RIGHT SIDE OF MY CAR IS LOWER AND THE FENDERS HIT MY WHEEL WHEN I HIT A DIP IN THE ROAD OR HAVE A PASSENGER IN THE BACK SEAT. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE IT WEARS OUT THE TIRE AND COULD EVENTUALLY RIP IT OPEN PUTTING MANY ON THE ROAD AT RISK. IT IS NOT THE SHOCKS OR THE SPRINGS BECAUSE I REPLACED BOTH OF THOSE ON BOTH SIDES. I HAVE READ OF MANY CASES LIKE MINE ONLINE AND WOULD LIKE MAZDA TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS HAZARD.

TAKATA RECALL MY MAZDA6 WAS RECALLED FOR THE DEFECTIVE TAKATA AIRBAG. THE AIRBAG REPLACEMENT IS TAKING WAY TO LONG. BEING ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURES IN THE CAR AND KNOWING IT MAY INFLICT THE MOST DAMAGE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE TO REPLACE THESE PARTS QUICKLY.
