IMPACT OF ACCIDENT LOST FUEL. SINCE ACCIDENT TOWED THREE TIMES STALLED AND TOWED ONCE AND TWICE BY MERCEDES BENZ. REPLACEMENT COST $1051.00.

MERCEDES BENZ OF ATLANTIC CITY (6623 E BLACK HORSE PIKE, EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ 08234) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND CONFIRMED THAT PARTS WERE NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. ADDITIONALLY, THE INTERIOR ROOF LINER WAS DAMAGED AND BECAME DETACHED DUE TO EXCESSIVE WATER POURING INTO THE VEHICLE. CHECK ENGINE CAME ON SO I TAKE IT TO THE SHOP THEY SAID IT WAS THE CRANKSHAFT SENSORS CODE BUT THAT CODE WAS NOT FOR THE SENSORS IT WAS FOR THE TIMING CHAIN THEY SAID ITS NOT RUNNING ON TIME SO NOW TO FIX IT THEY ARE CHARNING ME ALMOST $4000 I HEAR AND BEEN READING THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THIS ENGINE THEY TIMING GOES OFF SO I THINK THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED ITS SO MUCH MONEY NOT EVEN THE CAR IS WORTH THAT MINEY NO MORE

AT LEFT TIRE AREA, LEFT FUEL SENDING UNIT LEAKING FUEL, AFTER FUEL FILL-UP
VERY STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE FILLS THE GARAGE AND HOUSE WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PARKED INSIDE AFTER FUELING TO FULL TANK. THE GASOLINE ODOR IS SO STRONG THAT I FEEL IT IS UNSAFE TO PARK THE VEHICLE IN THE GARAGE BECAUSE OF THE FUMES, AND THE POTENTIAL FOR FIRE
FOR LAST THREE PLUS YEARS, WHENEVER GAS TANK IS FILLED OVER THE 3/4 FULL MARK THERE IS A HEAVY GAS ODOR BUT I HAVE NOT SEEN LEAKING GAS. I ONLY PUT IN LESS THAN 9 GALLONS OF GAS AT A TIME FEARING AN EXPLOSION IN MY GARAGE WHERE WATER HEATER IS LOCATED.
TAKATA RECALL MERCEDES SENT ME A LETTER SAYING MY LOCAL DEALER HAD PARTS TO FIX THE AIRBAG. MY LOCAL MERCEDES DEALER SAID MERCEDES DID NOT SEND THEM ANY PARTS FOR ME. MY CAR IS NOT FIXED AND NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THE CAR SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN GA ONE OF THE ZONES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED FIRST. I CANNOT CUT THROUGH THE DISHONESTY WITHOUT HELP.

ONE WEEKEND WE WOKE UP IN THE MORNING TO GO WASH, AND AS SOON AS WE OPENED OUR DOORS TO THE VEHICLE A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE CAME OUT OF THE VEHICLE. INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE AND IN THE TRUNK IT SMELLED A LOT LIKE GASOLINE, IT'S BEEN LIKE THIS NOW FOR ABOUT 4 DAYS AND THE ODOR IS STILL STRONG. IT WORRIES ME BECAUSE I HAVE KIDS. TOOK CAR TO DEALERSHIP FOR RECALL SERVICE ON DRIVER AIRBAG MODULE, AFTER DRIVING AWAY ONCE JOB WAS FINISHED NOTICED I WAS UNABLE TO TURN STEERING WHEEL AND THE STEERING WANTED TO LOCK WHILE DRIVING.SRS LIGHT REMAINED ON. SMOKE CAME OUT FROM UNDER THE HOOD AND CAR WAS NOT OVERHEARING, I CALLED DEALERSHIP AND SERVICE ADVISOR WAS GONE AND WAS NOT OFFERED ANY ADDITIONAL HELP. I DROVE CAR SLOWLY TO MY HOME AND PARKED IT ON THE STREET BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE TO THE DRIVEWAY. I OPENED HOOD AND SMOKE WAS COMING FROM POWER STEERING RESERVOIR AND ALSO LEAKING FLUID.I DID NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES DRIVING MY VEHICLE PRIOR TO THIS RECALL SERVICE. I WAS PUT ENDANGER ALONG WITH MY 2 KIDS AND NOW HAVING TO FIX OTHER COSTLY REPAIRS AND HAVE NO ADDITIONAL VEHICLE TO DRIVE. FLIE SIZE OF PICTURE EXCEEDS UPLOAD LIMITS.

THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON IN MY CAR BECAUSE OF A CAMSHAFT SOLENOID PROBLEM. HAD SOLENOIDS ALL REPLACED AND NOW DEALER IS ASKING FOR $2300 TO $3000 FOR PROBLEM TO BE FIXED AFTER ALL NEW PARTS HAVE BEEN PUT IN.

"TAKATA RECALL" I BOUGHT MY CAR USED IN JANUARY 2017 WITH AN OPEN RECALL FROM JANUARY 2016, IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 2 YEARS NOW AND MERCEDES BENZ OF WALNUT CREEK HAS STATED THEY WILL CONTACT ME WHEN THE REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. I WORRY CONSTANTLY ABOUT DRIVING MY CAR WITH DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS AND WORRY ABOUT MY SAFETY. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY IT TAKES ALMOST 2 YEARS TO REPLACE AN ITEM THAT CAN POSSIBLY CAUSE MY DEATH. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO ME AND I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS RESOLVED IMMEDIATELY.

I HAVE BEEN CHECKING WITH MERCEDES SINCE THE RECALL WAS INITIATED IN THE SYSTEM (OVER A YEAR...ALMOST 2 NOW) ABOUT GETTING THE AIRBAGS REPLACED AS MY NOW PREGNANT WIFE DRIVES THAT VEHICLE. THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THE AIRBAGS IN THE CAR ARE THE RECALLED TAKATA AIRBAGS BUT, NO ACTIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY MERCEDES TO PROVIDE A SOLUTION TO THIS RECALL FOR RESOLUTION THUS PLACING MILLIONS IN HARMS WAY AS A RESULT OF INACTION. I WONDER WHAT THE NEWS WOULD THINK OF THIS OR MY ATTORNEY?

HOWEVER, EVERY TIME I MAKE APPOINTMENT, THE DEALER (MERCEDES-BENZ OF PLANO,TEXAS) THEY HAVE NOTHING AVAILABLE FOR MY BOTH OF MY CARS. NOT ONLY THAT, THEY CANCEL APPOINTMENTS IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT WAS MADE AND WAS NOT COURTEOUS IN THEIR RESPONSE ON ALL OCCASIONS.

RELAY/ FUSE BOX IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT CAUGHT ON FIRE AFTER I DROVE HOME FROM WORK I PARKED AND ENTERED MY HOME. I RETURNED TO MY VEHICLE AND SMELLED A STRONG PLASTIC BURNING SMELL IMMEDIATELY WITH CONCERN OPENED THE HOOD AND FOUND MY RELAY/FUSE BOX AND WIRING FROM UNDER ALL MELTED SEVERELY. CALLED MERCEDES BENS AND TOWED IT RIGHT AWAY. THE DEALER SHIP IS TRYING TO HOLD ME RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES THAT I STRONGLY BELIEVE IS A FACTORY DEFECT. I NEED HELP IN THIS MATTER
TAKATA RECALL. THE RECALL WAS ISSUED IN FEBRUARY 2016 AND STILL NO REMEDY IS AVAILABLE 17 MONTHS LATER. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO OPERATE MY VEHICLE FOR 17 MONTHS DUE TO THIS UN-RESOLVED ISSUE.
THE CAR STAYS IN FIRST GEAR AND I HAVE TO STOP AND PULL OVER. PUT IT IN PARK AND IT JERKS VERY BADLY GOING INTO PARK. THEN I PULL OFF THE ROAD, STOP, TURN IT OFF AND BACK ON. THEN EVERYTHING GOES BACK TO NORMAL, UNTIL IT HAPPENS AGAIN. I READ ON-LINE OF MANY PEOPLE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE AND THERE IS NO RECALL. IMO THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND I DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH LOVED ONES IN THIS CAR. MY DEALERSHIP IS REAPIRING THE TRANSMISSION AS I WRITE FOR $1400+. I THOUGHT MERCEDES MEANT HIGH QUALITY/RELIABILITY. AT LEAST THEY CAN ADMIT THEIR MISTAKE AND FIX IT FOR THE PEOPLE SUFFERING BEFORE SOMEONE DIES. MY CAR ONLY HAS 63,000 MILES AND HAS BEEN SERVICED BY THE DEALERSHIP IAW SERVICE MANUAL.

THERE ARE ISSUES WITH THE ENGINE AND THE CAR WILL NOT START. THERE'S A CLASS ACTION AGAINST MERCEDES IN REGARDS TO THIS SAME ENGINE ISSUE. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION WHEN IT CUT OFF AND ANOTHER TIME AFTER BEING STATIONARY THE CAR WOULD NOT START. THERE WAS NEVER A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR ANY SIGNS THAT INDICATED ENGINE ISSUES BEFORE THE ENGINE COMPLETELY FAILED. I ALSO RECEIVED A NOTICE ABOUT MY AIRBAG HAVING A RECALL ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND THIS ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED.
ENGINE STARTED MISFIRING AND LOST POWER WHILE DRIVING UPHILL IN HAWAII THE AND THE CAR WAS NOT ABLE TO DRIVE UP THE HILL IT HAD NO POWER. THERE HAS BEEN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT REGARDING THE CAMSHAFT WHICH MERCEDES LOST HOWEVER WHEN I CALLED MERCEDES TO HELP FIX THE ISSUE THEY SAID TIME HAS EXPIRED AND THIS WAS NO LONGER VALID.

WITH FULL TANK, GAS SMELLS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE.
STRONG GASOLINE ORDOR COMING FROM LEFT REAR WHEEL WELL EVERY TIME THE CAR IS REFUELED. THE STRONG ORDOR LINGERS ON FOR 2-3DAYS FILLING THE GARAGE AND HOUSE WITH FULE ORDOR. SEEMS TO BE THE SAME PROBLEM AS E CLASS, WHICH IS UNDER AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THE FUEL ORDOR ISSUE. MB SERVICE REP SAID THAT C CLASS VEHICLES ARE NOT COVERED BY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AND OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF REPAIR.

MY CAR FALLS UNDER THE TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL.
FUEL TANK LEAKS GASOLINE INTO THE BACK SEAT AREA FROM THE FUEL TANK MODULE IF FILLED MORE THAN ABOUT 3/4 FULL. FUEL TANK LEAK ALSO CAUSES P0442 CODE FOR LEAK IN EVAP EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM. AT 115,000 MILES THE VEHICLE STARTED EXPERIENCING ISSUES SHIFTING FROM PARK TO REVERSE OR DRIVE. ONCE IN REVERSE OR DRIVE, IT WON'T SHIFT BACK INTO PARK. THE CAR MUST BE TURNED OFF IN NEUTRAL POSITION OR WAIT UP TO 5 MINUTES BEFORE SHIFTING BACK INTO PARK. ONCE ENGAGED IN REVERSE OR DRIVE THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION'S OPERATION.

2007 MERCEDES C230 WITH 65661 MILES BEGAN TO LOSE POWER AND NOT SHIFT INTO GEAR. TOWED TO A MERCEDES DEALER WHERE THEY SAID IT WAS A MASS AIR SENSOR AND 1000.00 BILL. WITHIN A FEW WEEKS SAME PROBLEM, LOSS OF POWER AND UNABLE TO SHIFT. NOW THEY REPLACED THE CONDUCTOR PLATE IN THE TRANSMISSION-1300.00 BILL. THIS SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON PROBLEM IN THIS SPECIFIC YEAR MAKE MODEL FOR MERCEDES NOT TO HANDLE.
