While driving on the freeway car pool lane with my wife, a sudden vibration in the front tires was observed, the car felt like it was pushed to the right then to the left even though it was in the center of the lane. Told my wife, "something is wrong with the car!" Thinking that I may have had a flat tire, I slowed down, the car went into a violent flat spin until the right rear end of the car hit the center lane divider. Airbags deployed. 911 was called, we were assisted by Highway patrol to the other side of the freeway. As the car was put on a flatbed tow truck, the tow truck driver commented that one of the front wheel was not turning. We found out that the right rack and pinion broke. The car was declared a Total Loss.
P052E PCV Regulator Valve Performance
Positive Crankcase ventilation
code p052e came on randomly.
The glass panel between the top of the windshield and the front of the glass sunroof suddenly detached from the car. I was driving on the I-5 freeway at 70mph when the panel detached without warning. By the time I had safely pulled over I could not safely walk back to see if I could find the panel. The freeway was busy, I do not know if the panel struck another vehicle. It looks like the adhesive that holds the panel on has failed.
P052e..PVC ventilation crank shaft valve sensor, too many people all reporting the same expensive item/ labor intensive work by a dealership just after the warranty expires. Help. There are thousands of us with the EXACT SAME CODE AND PROBLEM!! ORDER A RECALL INVESTIGATION!! PLEAS?!?!!!
During cold starts the fuel injectors/clamps leak causing strong gasoline smell inside the cabin. After research online this is a common issue with W205 systems. I am beyond surprised this has not been investigated and reported as a safety recall as it can pose a fire hazard. Please investigate and Mercedes should be fixing this issue….
I have a 2017 C 300 and it smells like gas when I turn my heat/ac on. I contacted Mercedes to see if there was a recall as this is a huge issue with many customers but Mercedes offered no assistance. The smell of gas is very dangerous and I think it's unfair to the customers that Mercedes has known about this problem but chose to do nothing.
There is a short rubber fuel line/hose in the engine compartment that is attached with compression clamps; the hose connects the fuel line from the gas tank to the high pressure fuel pump. When it gets cold outside (below ~40 degrees Fahrenheit) the clamps loosen a bit and the hose will leak gas The entire interior smells like gasoline, really bad.
I took my vehicle to the mechanic due to the check engine light been on. The diagnostic came back to be that "The valve for crankcase ventilation has a malfunction. The actuator is blocked." As per mechanic this has to be replace but cost around $ 2,000 plus.
Factory AMG rims. 3 of the 4 rims have cracked. The last rim cracked with brand new tires. So it is not a tire issue. I find it unbelievable looking online how may others have had this problem with AMG rims. Does not seem acceptable.

The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist because the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was unknown.
My vehicle started shaking and the check engine light came on. It's a PCV valve
Car check engine light came on with only 62,000 miles. Diagnosed as code P052E, the issue is the positive crankcase ventilation valve being faulty. Regular oil changes and maintenance was done. I see multiple complaints with this issue, why is this not recalled? It is very expensive to have fixed.
P520E code which is caused by a crankcase ventilation issue. The fix costs upwards of $2000. It seems to be a common issue with Mercedes vehicles with 4 cylinder turbos and should be a recall on this system.
Check engine light came up for a PCV valve error. Car was driving fine with no recent changes and the repair is going to cost over 2000$.
- windshield, and I had Satellite repair it through an insurance claim because it was urgent for my safety. - the windshield and its adhesive never bonded together making the windshield structurally unsafe and if I would have gotten into an accident then my vehicles airbags would have not deployed properly. - The issue was brought to my attention from a Satellite repair representative. - yes Safelite who contacted my insurance. - I went through a car wash and found water making its way into my car interior, which I then inspected and found that my windshield was floppy and not attached to my car and how it should.
The Crankcase Ventilator Actuator has malfunctioned, resulting in the Check Engine light showing up. The MB C300 4matic 2017 vehicle is at 40,200 miles as of [XXX]. Lot of other MB owners have reported same issues. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I got a check engine lite and the code said positive crankcase ventilation regulator valve. While doing research I am finding out that this is a very common problem on these cars, and very expensive to fix, I’ve never even heard of this problem happening to other cars. I think a recall is in order, thank you
check engine code P052E : Positive Crankcase Ventilation Regulator Valve Performance. This is a common problem in all mercedes 2015-2020 and it cost about 2000 to repair. This should be a recall.
My gas door has fell off 3 times exposing my gas cap. I got it replaced twice. It fell off on the highway and the other times I was just doing gas and it fell off into my hand. No excessive force. I didn’t want to pay again to repair it so I just taped it.
Code PO52E
Egine light on need to replace clogged Pcv value at 48,000 miles. Seems like this part needs a recall
My car is throwing the error code P052E. It keeps going on and off.
Car had 69,300 miles (5 3/4 years old) at time of service on 4/18/2023. The check engine light came on the day before. Dealer performed diagnostic- stated it was the Crank Case Ventilation that needed to be replaced. I was charged $2107.00 $1710.00 for labor, $397.00 for parts. I have owned 2 other mercedes well into the 100,000 mile ranges- no problems similar to this. It seems to just be a C300 issue- my car is a C350e. It has been serviced at the dealer every year and is garaged and well taken care of. I read online that c300 have this issue- and would like to report mine as well.
On May 3, 2023 I experienced an issue in which the sunroof on my 2017 C300 cert pre-owned with 51,000 miles Benz imploded out of nowhere while driving. My dad who I was taking to the doctors was also in the car resulting in both of us having fragments of glass on us. The problem has been reported to the insurance company and dealer the same day. There were no issues with the sunroof before the event happened.
I’m unsure but my check engine light came on showing something about my pvc valve needing replacement while I was driving
Both front seat belts on the driver and passenger side fail to retract. Looking up my car model I found the following: Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2017-2021 C300, 2017-2020 AMG C43, and AMG C63 vehicles. The front seat belts might not fully retract to their stowed position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." However my vin number was not marked for the repair and the dealer refused to cover it. I ended up paying for the repair out of pocket for safety.
The valve for crankcase ventilation code P052E71 is not under emission warranty WHY ? 45K car and is not working and it will not pass emission test
Basically, this is a common problem with the c300 coupes, I had an recall to replace front stationary sunroof panel. My sunroof panel started lift the last few months in 2022, therefore I took it to the dealership at the start of 2023 which they notified me this was a big problem and was unsafe on the road because it will eventually lift off while driving. Sense my engine lights were on and needed immediate attention, I had my car service which cost a lit of money. I had one problem about why would I be charged $400 for windshield seal which I assume was apart of the problem with sunroof panel seal. After car was in shop for quite some time, they fixed my sunroof panel that had an recall. About a month later, the sunroof panel was lifted and started to come off. I brought the car back into service which service advisor notified that he ordered about sunroof panel. I called the service advisor about once a week to check sunroof panel but I kept getting the run around for months. Finally, recently I went to another dealership and they told me that about 30 sunroof panel were in stock at near by warehouse which means the previous dealership was not trying to fix the problem but were happy to charge me 8k to fix my car. Please I need help with this situation and I will attach photo of invoice. Please I want to know of I can have another recall on the same particular problem. Thank you
My car caught on fire due to AC malfunction
P052E positive crankcase ventilation regulatory valve Part number 274-090-17-29-80
The contact owns a 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG C43. The contact stated that after the dealer performed an unknown recall repair and Honda of Newnan (391 Newnan Crossing Bypass, Newnan, GA 30265) replaced the ball joints and axles, the contact noticed that the roof panel had detached, causing the front panel to loosen, and the driver's side air bag was visible. Additionally, the front driver's side seat belt failed to retract. The dealer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 21V197000 (Structure) and 21V032000 (Seat Belts) however, the VIN was not included in the recalls. The failure mileage was approximately 58,237.
I have a 2017 C350E with 69K miles. Dealer wants $2900 to fix the Crankcase Ventilation Valve. The part that needs to be replaced costs about $600 with lot of labor time involved (~$2500). The part number is 274090560084. The C350E has a 15 year emissions control warranty in California that is supposed to cover "all" emissions control related parts, but Mercedes Benz USA doesn't seem to think this is part of the emission control system. I have done some research and it appears that "crankcase ventilation" is a necessary function of the engine because "blow-by" fumes would build up in the crankcase if it were not ventilated. These "blow-by" fumes used to be vented straight to the exhaust in older cars, but in the 1960's they started to recirculate them with the PCV system back into the intake manifold to limit the emissions. The function of this part seems to do the same thing a PCV system.
A very common problem with mercedes. PCV ventilation valve. Fault code P052E
My engine light keeps coming on and off on my 2017 C300 4matic coupe. I got the problem diagnosed in March 2023. Benz said I had a faulty solenoid valve and that I would need to replace the crank case ventilation assembly. That is $3000. My friend has a C300 sedan and they replaced his under the extended warranty that came out on August 2023 for the crankcase. I have the same exact issue but they said my VIN doesn’t populate so they cannot do anything. This is the 2nd faulty crank case in my car, it was replaced by warranty in 2019. I don’t drive that much I have 47K miles on the car. They refuse to cover the faulty part.
Code P052E costing me over $2500 to repair. I’m not the only one dealing with this problem and my car only has 58k miles and it’s a 2017. Should be recalled considering the part being defective.
I recently had to repair a part of my engine with the code P052E. It specifically was "The Valve for Crankcase Ventilation. It stated it was malfunctioned and that the actuator is blocked. It could have caused my engine to fail and my car to stop at any moment putting myself and others at risk. There is a large amounts of consumers with the same vehicle that complained about the same issue. It was inspected by the Mercedes Benz dealership. The only warning was that my check engine light was on.
my 2017 Mercedes C300 experienced what appears to be a very common engine fault with the W205 engine. It involves the "PCV" valve and the engine code fault is P052E. When this fault occurs the engine will stall and sputter. My wife and daughter were in my car last week and it stalled at an intersection which could have resulted in an accident, but luckily the school crossing guards were there to stop traffic and allow her to restart the car and get to the side of the road. The check engine light had previously been on and off for sometime so I had my local Mavis check what the light was on for and they gave me the fault code. I did not think it was anything that serious because the car ran fine. The car was towed today to Mercedes to officially diagnosis the problem
