VEHICLE SENSORS RELATING TO STEERING AND TIRES PROVIDED INCORRECT AND DANGEROUS INFORMATION THAT ADVERSELY AFFECTED THE STEERING CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, WHICH RESULTED IN THE VEHICLE DEPARTING A SUBURBAN, RESIDENTIAL ROADWAY WHILE IN MOTION, STRIKING A TREE AND KILLING THE DRIVER AND INJURING TWO PASSENGERS.
COLLISION HAZARD WARNING. NEITHER THE VISUAL WARNING ON THE DASH OR THE AUDIO WARNING WORKS PROPERLY. THE VISUAL AND AUDIO WARNING WILL ACTIVATE WHEN THERE ARE NO CARS ANYWHERE IN THE VICINITY. BUT IF A CARS SLOWS OR STOPS SUDDENLY IN FRONT, THERE WILL BE NO VISUAL OR AUDIO WARNING.
EXPLODING FRONT PANORAMIC ROOD GLASS PANEL PART # 212-780-11-21 SLIDING ROOD PANEL. DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY ROAD 50 MILE AN HOUR NO ROCKS OR OTHER CARS. WINDOW PANEL EXPLODED LIKE HEARING A GUN SHOT SOUND. WINDOW IS IN APPROXIMATELY A MILLION SMALL PIECES. INSIDE TEMPERATURE 75 DEGREES, OUTSIDE 20 DEGREES F. NO INJURIES. REPAIR COST $1,500.00 USD
DEFECTIVE CONTINENTAL TIRE WITH SIDEWALL BUBBLES ON SIX MONTH OLD 2015 MERCEDES BENZ E350. MERCEDES BENZ OF BUCKHEAD ACKNOWLEDGED THE TIRE WAS DEFECTIVE AND REPLACED IT AT NO COST. *JS
I RAN OVER AN UNAVOIDABLE MODERATE SIZED CITY STREET POT HOLE AT LOW SPEED WHILE BRAKING AND THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE DEFLATED. ANOTHER ORIGINAL TIRE WAS DEFECTIVE AND DEVELOPED A SIDEWALL BUBBLE IN SEPTEMBER AND THE DEALER REPLACED IT FOR FREE. THEN I WAS INSTRUCTED TO INFLATE THE TIRES TO 40 PSI AND I HAVE BEEN CAREFUL TO MAINTAIN THE TIRE PRESSURE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 MERCEDES BENZ E400. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH A DISTRONIC DEVICE THAT ALLOWED THE CONTACT TO STOP THE VEHICLE IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEVICE FAILED AND CAUSED THE CONTACT TO CRASH INTO THE REAR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT AND THE PASSENGER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES, WHICH REQUIRED THE CONTACT TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A TOW LOT AND THEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,500.
THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE DEALER SIX TIMES IN A FOUR MONTH PERIOD OF TIME. MOST PROBLEMS WERE RELATED TO ELECTRONICS. HEAD UNIT CENTER CONSOLE MADE A LOUD "A BALL ROLLING AROUND" NOISE WITH 24 HOURS OF BUYING THE CAR. RADIO WOULD INTERMITTENTLY WORK. CLOCK WOULD NOT KEEP TIME. THESE THREE ITEMS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT KEEP MEMORY. ENGINE COOLING FAN WOULD RUN FOR HOURS AFTER VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND PARKED. THERE WAS AN OIL LEAK ON FRONT PASSENGER SIDE. FRONT TRIM PANEL FOR BUMPER WAS NOT ALIGNED.
