Whenever I turn my wheels at an angle, there’s a juddering and knocking sound. It feels as if the axle will eventually break. This can pose a safety concern.
A FEW TIMES MY KEY WILL NOT FUNCTION TO START THE CAR. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE BATTERY. BUT THE DISPLAY ON MY LCD ALSO OFTEN DOES NOT FUNCTION WHEN ON CAR PLAY. THE STEERING IS JERKED WHEN I TURN THE WHEELS AS THEY SEEM TO GET STUCK ON THE PAVEMENT. OFTEN HAPPENS WHEN I AM BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE AND SOUNDS AS IF I AM HITTING SOMEONE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC63C4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL SHOOK AND VIBRATED. WHEN TURNING THE VEHICLE, IT WOBBLED, MADE A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE, JERKED, AND SKIPPED WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO COMPLETE A TURN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MERCEDES-BENZ OF THE WOODLANDS (16917 INTERSTATE I45, CONROE, TX 77385, (936) 206-7500), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE DEALER TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND WAS ABLE TO RECREATE THE FAILURE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PERFORMING NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15.
