The contact stated while driving 45 MPH and turning on the A/C, the vehicle made an abnormal loud sound and shut off inadvertently. The contact stated that upon restarting the vehicle with the A/C turned on, the failure reoccurred. Upon investigating the failure online, the contact became aware that the vehicle was turning off because the A/C was engaged. The contact turned off the A/C, restarted the vehicle and was able to continue driving. The dealer was notified of the failure and an appointment was scheduled for a diagnostic test. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 13,350.
