CONSUMER STATES THAT DRIVE LINE FAILED WHEN VEHICLE HAD APPROX 15K-18K MILES. *MR
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN ACCIDENT DUE TO ENGINE RACING WHEN CONSUMER PRESSED ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. THIS PREVENTED CONSUMER FROM STOPPING, REAR ENDING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT. *JG *JB
WHILE VEHICLE WAS STILL RUNNING BUT IN PARK WITH NO WARNING GEARS SWITCHED TO REVERSE, CAUSING VEHICLE TO SLOWLY ROLL BACKWARDS. DEALER NOTIFIED.*AK
FUSE FOR AT CONTROLLER BLEW CAUSING A NO START SITUATION AND RESULTED IN VEHICLE HAVING TO BE TOWED. THIS IS THE 3RD TIME THE SAME FUSE HAS BLOWN SINCE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED IN END OF MARCH, 2002. VEHICLE HAS BEEN BACK TO DEALER 2 TIMES WITH PROBLEM ALREADY AND PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN LOCATED OR RESOLVED. VEHICLE IS NOW BACK IN DEALERSHIP FOR 3RD TIME WITH SAME PROBLEM.
THE OUTER EDGES OF THE TWO FRONT TIRES CONTINUES TO FEATHER (WEAR OFF UNEVENLY) AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUES TO PULL TO THE RIGHT AFTER THREE ATTEMPTS TO REPAIR THE DEFECT BY THE NISSAN DEALER. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD ACCORDING TO TWO CERTIFIED MECHANICS. AS A RESULT, WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FULLY UTILIZE THE VEHICLE AS INDICATED BY THE LOW ODOMETER READING (LESS THE 7,000 MILES AFTER A YEAR).
WHILE CONSUMER'S WIFE WAS DRIVING ATTEMPTED TO APPLY BRAKES AND THEY FAILED, CAUSING VEHICLE TO GO OVER AN ENBANKMENT. DRIVER INJURED ANKLE WHILE TRYING TO APPLY FAILED BRAKES.*AK
ENGINE RATTLE DURING COLD STARTS. SEVERITY AND DURATION CHANGE FROM DAY TO DAY. SOME DAYS MORE PRONOUNCED AND LASTS AS LONG A 10-12 SEC, OTHERS NOT TO NOTICABLE AND LASTS3-5- SECS.
BRAKE VIBRATION WHIL EDRIVING IN RAIN OR OVER BUMPS/SPEED BUMPS OR STEEP GUTTER DRAINS.
DEALER IS DENYING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROBLEMS I AM HAVING. I BROUGHT THE TRUCK 4 TIMES FOR ABS, 3 FOR A/C NOT WORKING & ENGINE LIGHT REMAINS ON. I JUST FINISHED ARBITRATION AND BBB AUTO LINE DECIDED THAT ABS IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE NISSAN MANUAL SHOWS THE IMPORTANCE OF IT IN BRAKING. ENGINE LIGHT WILL ILLUMINATE ON DASHBOARD. DEALER HAS REPAIRED THE PROBLEM ABOUT 5 TIMES.*AK *JG
WHILE TRAVELING 80MPH ON INTERSTATE AND WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING ACCELERATOR WENT TO 30MPH FROM 80MPH. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK
WHILE DRIVING AT ABOUT 70 TO 75, UNDER ACCELERATION, I HEARD A LOUD NOISE AND THEN THE VEHICLE'S RPMS DROPPED DOWN TO ABOUT 500 AS IF THE VEHICLE HAD NO GAS. I PULLED OVER AND TURNED THE TRUCK OFF I MADE SURE THAT THERE WAS GAS, AND STARTED THE VEHICLE AGAIN AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. IT SEEMED TO RUN AT ABOUT THE CORRECT RPM SO I TOOK IT DIRECTLY TO THE DEALER. THEY HAD IT FOR A WEEK, AND ULTIMATELY SAID THAT IT WAS A BAD OXYGEN SENSOR (THE VEHICLE IS SUPERCHARGED) THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM. I AM NOT TOO CONFIDENT IN THAT EXPLANATION. GOD WILLING, THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. THE TRUCK WAS ONLY 3 WEEKS OLD AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.*AK
THE NISSAN SPEED LIMITER ENGAGED AT APPROXIMATELY 80MPH CAUSING ME TO ALMOST LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. NISSAN CLAIMS THAT THE SPEED LIMITER CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO START BUCKING BACK AND FORTH IS NORMAL AND HAS REFUSED TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE. THERE IS NO INFORMATION ANYWHERE IN THE OWNERS MANUAL WARNING THEM THAT THERE IS A SPEED LIMITER ON THE VEHICLE AND THAT IT MIGHT POSSIBLY ENGAGE WITHOUT WARNING CAUSING THE OPERATOR TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. IF THE SPEED LIMITER ON MY VEHICLE IS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY AS THEY CLAIM, THEN ALL NISSAN MAKES AND MODELS WOULD BE AFFECTED. *AK
ENTIRE VEHICLE VIBRATES AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, VIBRATION COMING FROM UNDER SEAT AREA OF CAB SOURCE IS PROBABLY CENTER CARRIER BEARING OF DRIVE SHAFT. DEALER REPLACED DRIVESHAFT AT 156MILES AFTER CONFIRMING PROBLEM ON TEST DRIVE. BUT STILL HAS VIBRATION DEALER MADE ANOTHER ATTEMPT AT REPAIR THEN ON THIRD TIME IN SHOP SAID IT WAS NORMAL. I FILED UNDER FL LEMON LAW AND MANUFACTURER REPLACED ALL 4 TIRES. BUT TRUCK STILL HAS VIBRATION, IT IS NOW MUCH MORE SEVERE AT 13000 MILES AND I AAM STILL PURSUING REPURCHASE UNDER FL LEMON LAW. I THINK YOU SHOULD INVESTIGATE THIS DEFECT AS I HAVE FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE OF ANOTHER TRUCK WHERE THE CARRIER FAILED SUCH THAT THE REPAIRING DEALER TOLD THE OWNER THAT HE SHOULDNT DRIVE HIS TRUCK UNTIL THE BEARING WAS REPLACED BECAUSE IT COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. HIS TRUCK WAS REPURCHASED BY NISSAN.*AK
WHEN PUSHING IN CLUTCH, WHEN A/C OR DEFROST IS ENGUAGED ENGINE IDLES HIGH BETWEEN 1500-2000 RPMS IDLE SEEMS TO FLUCTUATE WHEN COMING TO A STOP OR IN NEUTRAL IDLE IS NORMAL*AK

I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF MY CHILD OR MYSELF SITTING IN THE JUMPER SEATS OF THIS TRUCK. I WAS TOLD BY DOT THAT A 3 PT. SEAT BEAT WAS SAFEST. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT CHILDREN SIT IN THE BACK OF VEHICLES, BUT SINCE THERE IS ONLY A LAP BELT, HOW SAFE IS IT FOR A 6 YEAR OLD TO SIT IN THE JUMPER SEAT? DOES CRASH TESTS SHOW THAT THE LAP BELT IS SUFFICIENT FOR ADULTS SITTING IN THE JUMPER SEAT?*AK
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE SUDDENLY STARTED TO SHAKE AND VIBRATE ERRATICALLY, AND THEN VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUTDOWN. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION*AK.
WHEN AIR CONTROLS ARE LEFT AT COOL AND THE BUTTON IS SET FOR FRESH AIR, THERE IS A LOT OF WARM AIR COMING INTO THE TRUCK THE FRESH AIR COOLING IS MOLDED POORLY NOT ALLOWING ENOUGH COOL AIR TO RUN INTO THE TRUCK.*AK
WHILE TRAVELING AT 60 TO 65 MPH, CONSUMER STATES LOSS CONTROL OF VEHICLE, SIDE SWIPED ANOTHER VEHICLE, AND HIT A CONCRETE BARRIER. NONE OF THE VEHICLES AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. TS
THE VEHICLE'S ABS LIGHT ALWAYS COMES ON, AND THE A/C DOESN'T BLOW OUT COOL AIR/PER INVOICE-WHEN DRIVING AT FREEWAY SPEED, THE A/C WILL STOP BLOWING. SCC
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISION, AND THE FRAME WAS BENT IN THE FRONT. DEALER ATTEMPTED TO REPAIR THE FRAME, BUT VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE ANY SUPPORT FOR THE FRAME, CAUSING THE FRAME TO BEND ONCE AGAIN AFTER REPAIRS. *AK
WHEN ACCELERATING OR DECELERATING THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT BELT LOCKED UP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THE SEAT BELTS WERE REPLACED, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURS. *MR
