The contact owns a 2026 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated that after the vehicle had gone through a carwash, the contact noticed that the fuel door was open. The contact stated that the failure recurred upon taking the vehicle to the carwash a second time. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was advised to apply magnets to the fuel door to keep the door closed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact expressed safety concerns because the issue could cause the vehicle to experience a safety failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact had missed and had attempted to return the case manager's phone call, but the case manager was unreachable. The failure mileage was approximately 275.
Purchased new 12.12.25, drove 3 miles and heard clunk in transmission, went into limp mode at mile 23. Flatbed back to dealer, they replaced Solenoid valve and said was good to drive. Drove away and still have loud clunk in transmission on downshifting. 1.5.26 Dealer still has vehicle, no resolution
