AFTER HAVING THE TRANSMISSION AND RADIATOR REPLACED TWICE (3/12 AND 10/12) AS I WAS DRIVING 65 MILES PER HOUR ON THE HIGHWAY, ALL LIGHTS ON DASHBOARD CAME ON, CAR DIED. I HAD NO POWER AND SOMEHOW MANAGED TO GET TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY SLOWING FOR THE LENGTH BETWEEN TWO EXITS UNTIL I COULD STEER INTO GUARDRAIL TO STOP THE VEHICLE. CAR WAS SMOKING, COOLANT SYSTEM MECHANIC THINKS LET GO AND ENGINE CRACKED, NISSAN REFUSES TO BUY BACK CAR THAT WAS A LEMON IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT THEY DID NOT FIX. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE SEEMED TO SHIFT INCORRECTLY. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS A CRACK IN THE RADIATOR THAT WAS ALLOWING COOLANT TO ENTER THE TRANSMISSION. THERE WERE ALSO CRACKS IN THE HOSES THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 127,000. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION SEIZED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION WERE BOTH REPLACED DUE TO COOLANT LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION AND CAUSING INTERNAL DAMAGE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE FROM TRAFFIC LIGHT, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND FAILED TO ENGAGE IN GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT RADIATOR FLUID WAS LEAKING INTO TO THE TRANSMISSION AND AS A RESULT, THE TRANSMISSION SOLENOID NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 116,000. *TR
I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT IN WASHINGTON D.C, WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN THE VEHICLE REFUSED TO MOVE. SOME KIND PEOPLE HELPED TO PUSH THE VEHICLE AND IT WAS LATER TOWED TO MY HOME. I LATER SERVICED THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND DISCOVERED THAT THE RADIATOR HAD FAILED AND LEAKED INTO TRANSMISSION. AFTER CHANGING THE RADIATOR THE TRANSMISSION REMAINED INOPERABLE. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR SINCE. I AM STILL MAKING PAYMENT ON THE CAR EVEN THOUGH I CANNOT DRIVE IT. *TR
WHILE DRIVING THE PATHFINDER AT 45MHP IT STARTED TO SHAKE AND SLOWED DOWN EVEN WHILE PRESSING GAS PEDAL DOWN... FELT LIKE THE BRAKES WERE ON.. AFTER GETTING THE VEHICLE HOME I DISCOVERED THE PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION AND RADIATOR. IT SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM THAT NISSAN IS AWARE OF... IF WE WERE ON THE INTERSTATE AT HIGH SPEEDS IT COULD OF BEEN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. *TR

CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO DEFECTIVE RADIATOR IN VEHICLE. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED HE SENT NISSAN A LETTER REGARDING HIS CONCERNS ABOUT RADIATOR COOLANT LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION. NISSAN RESPONDED BY SAYING THEY WOULD NOT COVER ANY REPAIRS UNTIL THE LEAKED DEVELOPED. *JB
2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN RECOMMENDED THAT FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT BE REPLACED AND REQUESTS ASSISTANCE FOR REPAIRS. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, BECAUSE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FUEL GAUGE WAS GIVING AN INCORRECT READING. HE EXPLAINED TO THE DEALER, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL SHOWED THE VEHICLE HAD APPROXIMATELY ONE-QUARTER TANK OF FUEL, WHEN IN FACT THE FUEL TANK WAS EMPTY AND THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT HAD ILLUMINATED. HE ALSO POINTED OUT TO THE MECHANIC, THAT DUE TO THE INACCURACY AND ERRATIC MOVEMENT OF THE FUEL GAUGE READING, IT COULD STALL, AT ANY TIME A RESENT AN UNSAFE CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE AND COMPROMISE THE LIFE AND SAFETY OF HIS PASSENGERS. AFTER A CAREFUL REVIEW WAS CONDUCTED BY THE NISSAN TECHNICIAN, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS DUE TO THE FUEL SENDING UNIT MALFUNCTIONING, WHICH WAS DISCOVERED EARLIER BY NISSAN, IN WHICH A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN WAS ISSUED. NISSAN DENIED THE CONSUMERS REQUEST TO HAVE THE FUEL SENDING UNIT REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE, BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS OUTSIDE OF THE NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY. THE CONSUMER STATED NISSAN HAS SINCE ISSUED A SAFETY RECALL REGARDING THE FUEL SENDING UNIT AND EXTENDED THE PRIMARY WARRANTY.
TRANSMISSION STALLS WHEN TRYING TO SHIFT BETWEEN GEARS. THE TRANSMISSION CANNOT DECIDE WHEN TO SHIFT AND TRIES TO DOWNSHIFT DURING DECELERATION. THE TRANSMISSION IS SLOW TO RESPOND. *TR
THE COOLANT FROM THE RADIATOR LEAKED INTO THE TRANSMISSION IN TURNED DESTROYING THE TRANSMISSION. SHORTED THE SAFETY FEATURE IN THE TRANSMISSION TO WHERE IT WOULD NOT START. I WAS STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON THE VECHICLE WHEN THIS HAPPENED. NISSAN TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A 100K AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT. I RUINED MY CREDIT AND 2 YEARS LATER I AM STILL HAVING MY CHECK GARNISHED FOR THIS HORRIBLE RECALL.. THEY REPOED THE VEHICLE AND SOLD IT FOR SCRAP AND LEFT ME HOLDING THE BILL BECAUSE I COULD AFFORD A $7000 FIX!!! SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE HORRIBLE RECALL
TRANSMISSION COOLER LEAKED COOLANT IN TRANSMISSION AN TRANS STARTED SLIPPING NOW I NEED A TRANSMISSION. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND NOTICED THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. AFTER CONTINUALLY APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL THE VEHICLE RESPONDED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT FLUID FROM THE RADIATOR WAS LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION AND CAUSED CORROSION. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THE TRANSMISSION AND RADIATOR WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THERE WAS AN INVESTIGATION UNDER NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: DP12004 (POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: COOLING UNIT AND LINES) THAT COULD HAVE BEEN RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 139,000.
RADIATOR CRACKED AND COOLANT LEAKED INTO TRANSMISSION. I DID SOME RESEARCH, THIS HAPPENS TO ALL 2005-2010 PATHFINDERS. VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR. *TR
RADIATOR COOLANT GETTING INTO TRANSMISSION CAUSING THE SHORT CIRCUIT, TRANSMISSION COMPUTER IS INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION WHICH DESTROYS THE TRANSMISSION CAUSING REPLACEMENT, RADIATOR REPLACEMENT, THERMOSTAT AND COMPUTER SENSORS REPLACEMENT. COST FOR REPLACEMENT IN THIS PATHFINDER APPROX. $5,500 - $6,000 AND THE REMAINING LOAN ON THE PATHFINDER IS ALMOST THE SAME AMOUNT! ACCORDING TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP THIS IS A MAJOR DEFAULT OF NISSAN AND A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH MORE COMPLAINTS THAN THEY THEMSELVES CAN COUNT. THIS PATHFINDER BELONGS TO AN 83 YEAR OLD MAN WHO USES THIS TRANSPORTATION TO TRAVEL WITH HIS 80 YEAR OLD WIFE TO AND FROM 90% MEDICAL USE, NOW HE CAN NOT AFFORD TO HAVE THE REPAIRS AND TO NO FAULT OF HIS AND DUE TO NISSAN'S DEFAULT AND WILL NOT AGREE TO FIX THE PROBLEM, THE PATHFINDER CAN NO LONGER BE USED AND THE LOAN PAYMENTS ARE STILL COMING IN. *TR
THE FUEL GAUGE SENSOR HAS GONE UP IN MY TRUCK. IT HAPPENED IN DECEMBER 2012. I CANNOT TELL WHETHER I HAVE GAS IN THE TRUCK OR NOT. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET THIS PROBLEM FIXED AS I CANNOT AFFORD THE REPAIR. I HAVE NOTICED THAT OTHER 2005 PATHFINDER OWNERS HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE. *TR
I PURCHASED MY 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER IN MARCH OF 2011. HAD DONE GREAT FOR AWHILE. REPLACE A EXHAUST SENSOR IN AUGUST OF 2012. ALWAYS SMELLED HOT AFTER BEING DRIVEN, LIKE SOMETHING ELECTRICAL BUT COULD NEVER PINPOINT IT. THEN AROUND NOVEMBER 2012 NOTICED A DELAYED REACTION IN ENGAGING WHEN GOING INTO REVERSE AND A SLIGHT HESITATION COMING OUT OF PARK INTO DRIVE. DIDN'T THINK MUCH ABOUT IT AT TIME. BUT HAS SINCE GOTTEN WORSE, SHUTTERS FROM TIME TO TIME DRIVING, AND HESITATES MORE OFTEN. I CALLED THE LOCAL NISSAN SERVICE DEPARTMENT TODAY, JAN 24, THE MANAGER THERE TOLD ME I SHOULD CALL THE NISSAN CONSUMER OFFICE BECAUSE THE COMPANY WAS AWARE OF THE ISSUE. SO I DID. THE FIRST PERSON I STARTED TALKING TO HUNG UP ON ME AS SOON AS I MENTIONED MY VEHICLES MAKE AND MODEL. I CALLED BACK GOT SOMEONE ELSE, ALTHOUGH SHE DIDN'T HANG UP ON ME, SHE WAS NO HELP. SHE SAID BECAUSE MY VEHICLE WAS OVER 100000 MILES, THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE. SO I GOT IN TOUCH WITH THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. THEY ARE LOOKING INTO IT FOR ME AS WELL. THIS IS WRONG THE WAY NISSAN IS TREATING PEOPLE. IF THEY TRULY WANTED GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY WOULD VOLUNTARILY RECALL THESE AFFECTED VEHICLES AND MAKE IT RIGHT. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER NISSAN PRODUCT OR RECOMMEND THEM. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, AN UNUSUAL NOISE COULD BE HEARD COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE TRANSMISSION WAS FLUSHED AND THE RADIATOR WAS REPLACED. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION EXHIBITED INTERNAL DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF COOLANT LEAKING FROM THE RADIATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 10V517000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT HAD EXCEEDED THE 100,000 MILE LIMIT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,720.
WE OWN A 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER THAT MY WIFE DRIVES DAILY UNTIL A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO THAT THE TRANSMISSION GAVE UP ON US AT EXACTLY 100298 MILES. SHE SAID THAT SHE WAS DRIVING AROUND 50 MILES AN OUR AND THAT ALL OF A SUDDEN THE SUV JUST QUIT AND IT WOULD NOT GO NO FURTHER. LUCKILY THERE WAS NO CARS BEHIND HER BECAUSE OUR DAUGHTERS WERE WITH HER AT THE TIME. SO NOW I HAVE A PATHFINDER THAT DOES NOT RUN BECAUSE I CANT AFFORD THE SIX GRAND THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE ME BECAUSE I WENT OVER 298 MILES. *TR
I WAS GOING TO WORK A USUAL SO I HAVE TO TAKE THE HIGHWAY. EVERYTHING WAS PRETTY NORMAL THEN AS I WAS DRIVING FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES I FELT LIKE HESITATION FROM THE SUV. I WAS IN FIRST LAME SO AS I PRESSED THE GAS PEDAL A LITTLE FURTHER IN I NOTICED THAT THE CAR WAS DECELERATING. IT WAS LIKE IT WAS LOSING POWER. IT RETURNED TO NORMAL THEN 5 MINUTES LATER THE SAME THING HAPPENED ONLY THE CAR STARTED JERKING AS WELL. I TURNED TO THE EMERGENCY LANE TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. I TURNED THE ENGINE OFF AND POPPED THE HOOD IT SMELLED LIKE COOLANT LEAKING AND THE SUV DIDN'T SAY THAT IT WAS OVERHEATED.I TRIED TO TURN IT ON IT DIDN'T LET ME AND THE DASHBOARD WASN'T DISPLAYING THE N,D,R...ETC. TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC AND SAID THE SUV HAD INTERNAL LEAKAGE OF THE RADIATOR AND IT MESSED WITH THE TRANSMISSION. HE TOLD ME THAT THIS TYPE AND YEAR OF SUV HAD FAULTY RADIATOR THAT CAME LIKE THAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I HAD BOUGHT THE CAR 8 MONTHS AGO AND THAT IT CAME WITH A WARRANTY FOR THESE TYPE OF CAR FOR LESS THAN 80,000 MILES. WELL I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THE DEALER WITH MORE THAN 100,000 MILES .NOW AT THIS POINT TO FIX THE CAR RANGES FROM 3,000-6,000 DOLLARS. SHAME ON NISSAN DEALERS FOR SELLING THESE TYPE OF CARS THAT ARE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ON THE ROAD. *TR
MY NISSAN QUIT DUE TO A FAILED TRANSMISSION. I WAS DRIVING AND WITHOUT WARNING WHEN I ACCELERATED IT WOULD NOT GO FORWARD. IT OCCASIONALLY WOULD DO A HARD SHIFT WHEN GOING DOWN HILLS OR INCREASING SPEED. I BEGAN TO SMELL A FOUL ODOR COMING FROM THE HOOD AND ALOT OF SMOKE BILLOWING FROM THE BACK OF THE CAR. *TR
MY VEHICLE HAD GIVEN NO SIGNS OF PROBLEMS. I HAD MY VEHICLE SERVICED, OIL CHANGED...ETC ON REGULAR BASIS. FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9TH I LEFT WORK AND MY VEHICLE WOULDN'T START. THE NISSAN DEALER I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO HAS INFORMED ME THAT A FAULTY RADIATOR TANK BROKE DOWN, LEAKED COOLANT INTO MY TRANSMISSION, CORRUPTING MY TRANSMISSION AND ALL THE ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS THAT ALLOW THE VEHICLE TO IDENTIFY MY TRANSMISSION & GIVE THE VEHICLE/TRANSMISSION ABILITY TO START. IN ADDITION THEY INDICATE IT CAUSED CORROSION AND HAS DESTROYED MY TRANSMISSION. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT NISSAN KNEW OF THIS PROBLEM/EXACT ISSUE BUT INSTEAD OF RECALLING THE RADIATORS, THEY "OFFERED" AN EXTENDED WARRANTY UP TO 8 YEARS/80,000 MILES (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST): NO CUSTOMER CO-PAY; AFTER 8 YEARS/80,000 MILES (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST) UP TO 9 YEARS/90,000 MILES (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST): CUSTOMER CO-PAY IS $2,500; AFTER 9 YEARS/90,000 MILES (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST) UP TO 10 YEARS/100,000 MILES (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST): CUSTOMER CO-PAY IS $3,000. I THINK ITS ASININE THAT THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH NOT RECALLING ALL OF THESE AND TAKING CARE OF A PROBLEM THEY KNOW ABOUT WITHOUT PUTTING A HUGE BURDEN ON ALL OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. *TR
THE TRANSMISSION FAILED WHILE DRIVING 60MPH UP A HILL. THE CAR MOST ABILITY TO CLIMB HILL AND SPEED DROPPED DRAMATICALLY. I WAS CONCERNED OF BEING HIT FROM BEHIND AS TRAFFIC WAS GOING FASTER AND HAD TO GO AROUND ME. THERE WAS NOT A PLACE TO PULL OVER. I MADE IT (BARELY) OVER THE HILL AND PULLED OVER. THE ISSUE IS A FAILURE OF THE INTERNAL RADIATOR COOLANT HOSE LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION AND DESTROYING THE TRANSMISSION. THIS HAS BEEN ADMITTED AND PREVIOUSLY NOTED AND DIAGNOSED BY NISSAN, BUT THEY HAVE OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE IF YOUR VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY. IT SHOULD BE A RECALL FOR ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES. PRETTY SCARY WHEN THE CAR FAILS AT SPEED AND YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. *TR
BOUGHT VEHICLE IN APRIL 2012 HAD TRANSMISSION GO OUT FIXED THAT WITH WARRANTY COMPANY. THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT AGAIN IN LESS THAN A MONTH COMES TO FIND OUT THE RADIATOR WAS CRACKED SENDING ANTIFREEZE INTO TRANSMISSION AND TRANSMISSION FLUID INTO MY RADIATOR DESTROYING MY TRANSMISSION COMPUTER. GOT THAT FIXED CAMSHAFT SENSORS THEN WENT BAD COST ME MORE MONEY. AFTER THAT THE RADIATOR WAS STILL MESSED UP HAD IT REPAIRED AND FLUSHED SYSTEM COMPLETELY. THE SHOP ALSO HAD TO REPLACE THE BACK FLOW RESERVE CAP AND THERMOSTAT FOR BEING BAD. THE VEHICLE WORKED FOR ANOTHER TWO DAYS AND HAD A MECHANIC LOOK AT THE VEHICLE FOR OVERHEATING AND THE DIAGNOSIS WAS FAN CLUTCH WAS WORKING NEED TO REPLACE FAN CLUTCH COMPLETED THAT. NOW NOV. 8TH TWO DAYS LATER AFTER BEING FIXED STILL OVERHEATING. DO KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE??? *TR
MY 2005 NISSAN PATHFINDER SUFFERED A RADIATOR LEAK WHICH LEAKED FLUID INTO THE TRANSMISSION. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR THE ENGINE STARTED RUNNING AT A HIGH RPM WHILE THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOST THE ABILITY TO DRIVE DESPITE THE CAR RUNNING AND THE GAS PEDAL BEING DEPRESSED. THEN THE TRANSMISSION "KICKED IN" AND THE CAR LURCHED FORWARD UNTIL THE ISSUE HAPPENED AGAIN AND THE CAR COMPLETELY BROKE DOWN ON THE ROAD. *TR
MY WIFE WAS DRIVING TO A ROAD,FOR CHARITY, WHILE GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY, THE CAR WOULD NOT GO FORWARD, THE MORE YOU GAVE IT GAS THE CAR TOOK OFF LIKE A ROCKET. I TOOK THE CAR OUT FOR A TEST RIDE, THE SAME THING HAPPEN,AT THE STOP SIGN THE CAR WOULD RAVEUP.AND TAKE OFF LIKE A .ROCKET. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME IT IS GOING TO COST A LOT TO FIT THIS PROBLEM. *TR
THE CAR WAS BEING DRIVEN ON A BUSY STREET DURING MORNING RUSH HOUR, AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH. THE CAR IMMEDIATELY STOPPED RUNNING AND WENT TO A CRAWLING SPEED (AROUND 1-2 MPH). CARS BEHIND NEEDED TO MOVE QUICKLY TO AVOID COLLISION, AND BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SHOULDER, THE CAR BLOCKED TRAFFIC. THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP. ONCE SHE EXITED THE VEHICLE, THERE WAS A LOUD BOOM NOISE, WHICH WAS BELIEVED TO BE THE BATTERY EXPLODING. WITHIN IN SECONDS, THE UNCONTROLLABLE FLAMES LITERALLY ENGULFED THE ENTIRE VEHICLE. NISSAN ISSUED A SAFETY RECALL IN SEPT. 2013 COVERING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR AND THROTTLE BODY FOR SEVERAL MODELS NOT INCLUDING THE PATHFINDER. IN OCTOBER 2012 AND DECEMBER 2013, MY ACCELERATOR PEDAL STOPPED WORKING WHILE DRIVING AND IN SOME CASES STALLED ON THE ROAD. I HAD TO SHUT OFF THE CAR AND RESTART IT IN ORDER TO REGAIN ACCELERATION, ONLY TO LOSE IT AGAIN SHORTLY. THE VDC AND SLIP LIGHTS CAME ON IN THESE CASES EVEN THOUGH THE ROADS WERE DRY. I WOULD LOVE ANY INFORMATION ON HOW TO BE REIMBURSED FROM NISSAN. *TR
RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION FLUID MIXED. INTERNAL RADIATOR FAILURE CAUSED DAMAGE TO TRANSMISSION. CAUSING LOSS OF POWER WHEN DRIVING. NISSAN IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND REFUSES TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE. IT IS A DEFECTIVE RADIATOR AND IT CAN BECOME VERY DANGEROUS IF IT HAPPENS ON A VERY BUSY INTERSTATE. I HAVE CHOSEN TO LET MY VEHICLE SET. I DON'T WANT TO CAUSE A FATALITY TO MYSELF OR MY FAMILY. PLEASE HELP NOT TO LET NISSAN GET BY WITH THIS. *TR UPDATED IVOQ 01/02/13
