The contact stated that while driving the vehicle, there was an abnormal sound coming from the front end of the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated after his wife had parked the vehicle with the engine running, the vehicle started to roll away. The contact stated that while his wife was running after the vehicle to stop it, she fell to the ground. The vehicle hit the bridge of the residence and stopped. The contact's wife sought medical assistance a few days later and was informed that she had sustained a concussion, headaches, and bruises on the legs, arms, and belly. The vehicle was driven back to the Enterprise lot, where the contact was advised that the vehicle was safe to drive. The contact was charged a fee for the damages that the vehicle sustained due to the collision. There was no further information provided. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist because the contact was not the owner of the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
