Blinking lights on dashboard, notified Nissan, they stated they knew of recall, but didn't know how to resolve yet, engineers were working on the issue, they stated when it breaks down just bring it in. Car engine light blinks, all warning lights blink, car stops immediately while pulling into to drive way. Lights appeared 1 day ago, then drove ok. Started car this morning to go to work, 4 miles away pulled in and car started blinking all emergency lights, Quickly called Nissan they were closed to due to holiday. Emergency lites are check engine light, FEB light, MASTER warning light, AEB lights , Malfunction Indicator light (MIL). RAB light, the start button contents blink when all theses lights are blinking. The fact that Nissan told me to wait till it breaks down, or they would call me to fix recall when they know how is irresponsible .
I don’t know what malfunctioned excatly but I was driving on highway at 65 mph and vehicle just shut down so I pulled car off to side the dash said engine malfunction car shutting down to save engine. And hasn’t started since. But prior to that I have had issues since I got the car about 4000 miles into driving is when everything started the dash said engine malfunction power reduced service now. I informed Nissan dealership right away brought it into there shop and they didn’t do anything just wanted to sell me another car I have nothing but problems and headaches with this car and yes me and my wife’s safety was at risk a few time cause when it malfunctions the power reduced and when it just shut down completely I was in far lane and almost go hit trying to merge off road.and due to it braking down I had to leave vehicle to go get a car dolly was gone about 2 hours and came back and vehicle windows were broken and everything was stolen out of my car of value. The other issue the intercooler went out and that cause a big problem I have the repair invoice somewhere but have to locate it
ON MAY 31ST 2025 CAR HESITATED TO START ABOUT 5MIN BEFORE STARTING BUT NO WARNING SIGNALS. CAR HAS BEEN STRUGGLING TO START MULTIPLE TIMES SINCE THEN AND ON TUESDAY 06/27/2025 CAR DID NOT WANT TO START AGAIN AND HAD A WARNING OF ENGINE MALFUNCTION POWER REDUCED SERVICE NOW WITH A LOT OF BEEPING. I TOOK IT BY AUTOZONE AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE UNABLE TO REACH IT TO CHECK IT ( NOT SURE WHAT THAT MEANT) SO HE RECOMMENDED SWITCHING OUT THE KEYFOB BATTERY TO SEE IF THAT WOULD HELP BUT THE VEHICLE IS STILL HESITANT TO START AND THEN SOMETIMES THE VEHICLE DOES NOT DRIVE CORRECTLY. Photo listed is from 06/27/2025 when the vehicle finally showed a warning sign.

Back up camera fails to load when car is put in reverse. Nissan is not sure what the cause is but thinks its software and wants $700+ for further diagnostics
Camera system failure and it has been a year with no response from Nissan. A recall was made for this issue but it was only for rental cars mine was never a rental and other nissan rogue owners are reporting the same issue with their cars. I park inside a parking garage so my car is covered.
I have had significant problems with this car. Within the first month, I had to replace the battery. In September 2024 the car went from 70 mph to 40 mph with no warning and then the engine malfunction lights came on. It was supposedly fixed by Jeff Wyler Nissan Colerain. In October of 2024 the exact same thing occurred. We went from 70 mph to 40 mph and were stranded for hours yet again. Jeff Wyler Nissan Eastgate supposedly fixed the problem this time with new electrical components. Most recently, in December of 2024, the exact thing occurred AGAIN. We went from 70 to 40 and had to have the car towed for the third time in three months and the fourth time in 2 years. It is currently at Jeff Wyler Eastgate again - supposedly waiting on a temperature component - which they think is the engine problem. All of these incidences occurred on a highway and could have had devastating consequences.
I first experienced an issue with my Rogue in late December 2023 with the heat going out and the fans were producing minimal air through the vents. I brought the car to the dealer January 2nd, 2024. It took a week for Nissan to diagnose the issue as engine related (engine knocking prior to total heat failure, and metal shavings in the oil pan) and another 3 weeks for them to order and install a brand new engine. In May I brought the car back to the dealer because the AC wasn’t working. They fixed that within a week. Didn’t seem to be engine related. Recently I experienced (Friday 6/14/2024) loss of power, whereby my vehicle stalled while driving at 55 mph. No warning lights came on, no alarm bells or signals popped up on my dashboard. As my vehicle began to decline in speed, a note displayed on my dash that stated the engine stalled and pull over safely. I was able to coast the car into a turn lane with my flashers on. The engine then died at full stop. I had to have it towed to the dealer as the vehicle bogged out once it started. Ultimately, it continued to stall out. The dealer notified me today that my engine failed again and that they would have to replace the engine again. I will hear from them again once they determine if they will replace the engine or if they may offer to buy back the car.
Digital gas guage one is ready full and the other is saying 160 mile… put 12 galls of gas in yesterday it should not be full but should have more miles than what it is showing
Engine: Ever since purchasing my rogue i had to take it to the dealership 3 separate times for engine mounts to be replaced due to shaking when car is idle. Electrical: Camera system stops working all of a sudden at 50k miles and unable to use reverse camera and will not work when clicking on camera button. This has been a known issue affecting personal vehicles and being discussed all online.
radio control system which includes backup camera, stopped working. Manufacturer isn't providing replacement though they admit the part needs to be replaced.
