I PURCHASED MY CAR IN 2016 WITH ONLY 10 MILES ON IT FROM ME DRIVING OFF WITH IT. I'VE REPLACED THE BATTERY TWICE. IVE HAD MY TRANSMISSION REPLACED WHICH THEY DIDN'T WANT TO REPLACE DUE TO LOW NOISES IT MADE IF I DROVE OVER 10 MPH. THEY REFUSED TO FIX MY CAR FOR THREE MONTHS BECAUSE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULDN'T CUT ON FROM THE NOISES IT MADE. NOW MY CAR CRANKS BUT DOESN'T START. ALL MAINTENANCE IS UP TO DATE AND MY CAR HAS 55,000 EVEN TODAY! THE BATTERY IS NOW AND CHARGED. ALL CABLES ARE TIGHT. I HAVE TO GET IT TOWED TO NISSAN TO HAVE IT INSPECTED.

AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE DROVE INTO A BUSY INTERSECTION WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (NALLEY NISSAN, 2551 THE NALLEY WAY, ATLANTA, GA) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE MASTER CYLINDER FAILED DUE TO A RUPTURED BRAKE LINE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,000.
The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while driving approximately at 35 MPH, the vehicle lost power and dropped speed to 15 MPH. The contact depressed the accelerator pedal and the engine only revved and would not regain forward speed. The contact stated a symbol for a "pedal" was illuminated. The contact had the vehicle towed to the dealer who diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000.
THE TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS AND FAILS TO ACCELERATE IN TRAFFIC. IT STOPPED PULLING ON A BRIDGE ON THE INTERSTATE THIS MORNING ON A STEP INCLINE. THE RPM S BOUNCE BACK AND FORTH. THE TRANSMISSION HAS NOW COMPLETELY FAILED. THE CAR HAS A LITTLE OVER 78,000 MILES ON IT AND HAD DISPLAYING PROBLEMS SINCE 62,000 MILES, RIGHT AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED.
2016 NISSAN SENTRA SR (CURRENT MILEAGE EST. 60,000 MILES) THE IGNITION ISSUE ON MY VEHICLE HAS STARTED AROUND 20,000 MILES. NORMALLY, THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION ON A HIGHWAY DURING MY COMMUTE TO AND FROM WORK (WHICH IS 60 MILES A DAY), THE SLIP TRACTION LIGHT STAYS ON FOR DAYS REGARDLESS OF WEATHER CONDITIONS. DURING THIS TIME THE ACCELERATION OF MY VEHICLE IS STALLING. A JERKING MOTION AS I PRESS THE ACCELERATOR. A REPAIR WAS INITIATED BUT NO TO AVAIL, THE ACCELERATION IS STILL STALLING. THERE IS A FAULT IN THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY SYSTEM. WHEN THE CAR IS STATIONARY, THE BRAKE SWITCH ACTS UP AND THE CAR CAN'T TURN ON. THE BRAKE GETS STIFF AND I'M UNABLE TO TURN ON THE VEHICLE FOR 10 -30 MINUTES. PUSHING THE IGNITION BUTTON ALONE, THE CAR WILL LIGHT UP AND THE RADIO WILL TURN ON THEREFORE THERE IS NO ISSUE WITH THE BATTERY. THE BRAKE SWITCH HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE IN TWO CONSECUTIVE MONTHS. CURRENTLY THIS ISSUE IS OCCURRING WITH A NEW BRAKE SWITCH IN MY VEHICLE. ALSO, IF MY CAR IS PARKED AFTER AN HOUR OR SO , I HAVE DIFFICULTY TURNING ON THE CAR, BRAKE PEDAL GETS HARD AND I WAIT ONCE AGAIN UNTIL THE PEDAL UNLOCKS. AT THE GAS STATION, I TURNED OFF MY VEHICLE TO FILL UP MY TANK, FIVE MINUTES LATER I'M UNABLE TO TURN MY VEHICLE ON, AGAIN BRAKE PEDAL IS HARD. ALL OIL CHANGES AND RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN PERFORMED ON MY VEHICLE.
I WAS SMASHED IN BETWEEN TWO CARS AT A RED LIGHT. MY AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TOTALED.
ASSUMING THIS MAY BE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM I COULD NOT START IT HAS PLENTY OF VOLTAGE. MANUFACTUREDDEFECT OF MARCH 11TH FOR SAME MODEL ONLY ONE MONTH SHY OF THE RECALL FROM APRIL 11TH ARE YOU SURE THIS MANUFACTURE DATE DOESN'T HAVE A RECALL AS OTHER BUILT ONE MONTH LATER?LVE ONLY HAD FOR 2 MONTHS AND I'M ALREADY HAVING AN ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SUTHERLIN NISSAN OF FT MYERS (13985 S TAMIAMI TRAIL, FORT MYERS, FL 33912, (239) 415-8600) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
LETTER RECEIVED FROM NISSAN REGARDING POSSIBLE FRONT AIR BAG PASSENGER SENSOR MALFUNCTION. OUR SENSOR MALFUNCTIONS INCONSISTENTLY WITH THE SAME INDIVIDUAL SITTING IN THE SEAT (WEIGHING 110-115 LBS) WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION; SYSTEM WORKS PROPERLY AT TIMES INDICATING PASSENGER AIR BAG WILL DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT, AND THEN AT OTHER TIMES NOTES AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY. WE'RE NOW ENCOUNTERING DIFFICULTIES WITH NISSAN CORRECTING/FIXING THE ACKNOWLEDGED (BY NISSAN) PROBLEM DUE TO THE INCONSISTENT NATURE OF THE ISSUE. CONCERNED THE SYSTEM WON'T WORK CORRECTLY UPON POTENTIAL COLLISION AND REQUESTING THE SENSOR THAT IS MALFUNCTIONING BE REPLACED.
I PURCHASED A CAR FROM WILSON MOTOR COMPANY AND WAS TOLD IT WAS ONLY USED AS A RENTAL BY THEIR CUSTOMERS WHILE THEIR CAR WAS IN THE SHOP. I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THE CAR AND THEY HAVE FOUGHT ME ON WARRANTIES TO COVER. WHEN I WENT TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP THEY PULLED THE AUTOCHECK REPORT TO FIND THAT THE CAR HAD BEEN PURCHASED FROM AN AUCTION IN CA AND IS SHOWING A TITLE BRAND FOR FRAME OR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE RECORD AND A POSSIBLE ODOMETER ROLLBACK. THE TIRES ARE WEARING UNEVENLY AND ARE NOT SAFE AND I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED THE BRAKES OUT OF MY POCKET. I CAN'T TRADE THE CAR IN DUE TO THIS REPORT. I WAS LIED TO AND NOW I CAN'T GET WARRANTY SERVICE OR ABLE TO TRADE THE CAR IN FOR SOMETHING ELSE. I CANNOT GET THE GENERAL MANAGER TO RETURN MY MESSAGES.
THERE IS A CLICKING NOISE WHEN STOPPING AND ACCELARATIING, THIS CLICKING SOUND COMES FROM THE FRONT TIRE AREA, IT STARTED ABOUT 8 MOS AGO AND NOW IT IS GETTING WORSE, I BOUGHT THE CAR NEW. IT ALSO HAS LIKE A WHISTLING NOISE WHEN DRIVING 65-70 AND OVER. TWO ISSUES THE CLICKING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT TIRE AREA AND THE WHISTLING NOISE WHEN DRIVING OVER 65 MPH. I'VE NEVER HAVE BUMPED THE CAR OVER THE SIDESIDE WALK FOR THE CLICKING NOISE IT JUST STARTED. I DON'T KNOW WHY THE CAR MAKES THE WHISTLING NOISE AT HIGH SPEED
LOUD WIND SOUND WHEN DRIVING PASSES 55MPH ON THE FREEWAY BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE MAKES LOUD HOWLING SOUND AS THE WIND HITS AND CROSSES THROUGH BOTH SIDES OF MY VEHICLE. THE WIND HOWLING SOUND IS REALLY LOUD WHEN MY CAR IS DRIVING AGAINST THE WIND ON THE FREEWAY, I BELIEVE THAT ALL OF THE RUBBER LINING ON DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED AND RESEALED CORRECTLY PROFESSIONALLY

AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE TRANSMISSION FLUID NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000.
WIND NOISE FROM A-PILLAR AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS WITH HEAVY HEAD WIND OR CROSS WIND THAT SOUNDS AS IF THE CAR IS HOWLING OR HONKING ABOVE 55 MPH
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 NISSAN SENTRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING WHILE DRIVING AND THAT THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL PUMP PRESSURE SENSOR WAS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 160,000.
NEW CAR WITH SEVERAL INCIDENCES WHEN TRAVELING AT LOW SPEEDS AND NEEDING TO STOP THE VEHICLE THE BREAKS FELT SLUGGISH, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP WHERE I INTENDED, AND IT MADE SOUNDS. I WENT TO SEVERAL NISSAN DEALERSHIPS AND THEY EACH TOLD ME THE BREAK SYSTEM WAS OK AND I JUST NEEDED TO GET THE FEEL OF A NISSAN SENTRA. I TOLD THEM THAT WAS NOT THE CASE BECAUSE I OWNED SEVERAL NISSAN SENTRAS. THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. I INCREASED MY STOPPING DISTANCE BECAUSE I DIDN'T TRUST THE CAR. I GOT INTO A MINOR FENDER BENDER. THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME ONLY HAD A SMALL SCRATCH. I WAS GOING AT LOW SPEEDS WHEN THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME STOPPED. UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS I HAD PLENTY OF ROOM TO STOP. HOWEVER, MY CAR DIDN'T BEHAVE NORMALLY. I HIT THE BREAK AS HARD AS I COULD, BUT IT WAS SLUGGISH AND STILL MOVING. THE FRONT-END EMERGENCY BREAKING SYSTEM STARTED BEEPING. I COULDN'T SWERVE THE CAR BECAUSE THERE WHERE CARS ON MY SIDES. I CONTINUED HITTING THE BREAK AS HARD AS I COULD, AND MY SYSTEM BEEPED AND FLASHED AGAIN. THE SYSTEM COULDN'T FULLY STOP THE CAR EITHER. BEFORE MOVING MY CAR I CALLED THE NISSAN NUMBER THE MANUAL SAYS TO CALL. I TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED AND ASKED THEM TO GET THE EVENT DATA RECORDER INFORMATION. THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT TO A DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY ONLY DOWNLOADED CODES AND WHAT I WAS DESCRIBING WAS THE TRANSMISSION AND AFTER LOOKING INTO IT THEY DECIDED THEY WOULD REPLACE A VALVE IN THE TRANSMISSION UNDER WARRANTY. THEY SAID THAT A PART ALSO NEEDED REPLACING BECAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT. THEY SAID THE PART WAS ON BACKORDER. I ASKED FOR DOCUMENTATION OF WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO TO MY CAR AND THEY REFUSED AND SAID I WOULD GET IT AT THE END. NOW THE PART IS FURTHER BACKORDERED. THEY WON'T PAY FOR A RENTAL AND ARE NOW SAYING THAT IF I WANT OUT OF MY LEASE THEY NEED TO DO AN 8 WEEK INVESTIGATION. I WANTED THE INVESTIGATION OVER 2 MONTHS AGO!
CAR IS SLOW TO ACCELERATE ON HIGHWAY.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
CAR WAS TRAVELING AT FREEWAY SPEEDS WHEN TRAFFIC WAS SLOWING DOWN, CAR BEHIND ME WAS APPROACHING VERY FAST. CAR HIT ME AND THEN I HIT CAR IN FRONT OF ME.
ON A RECENT TRIP I NOTICED A SURGE IN RPM'S ON THE CAR. ON CRUISE AT 70 MPH THE RPM WOULD BE AROUND 20,000. IT SURGES TO 35,000 OR HIGHER. IT SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE AND AT LOWER SPEEDS NOW.
AFTER PURCHASING MY CAR 3 MONTHS AGO WITH 47,000 MILES, I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT NIGHT WITH MY FAMILY GOING 35 MPH, STRAIGHT ON A CITY STREET WITH MODERATE TRAFFIC WHEN THE ACCELERATOR AND BRAKE STARTED TO HARDEN AND THE STEERING WHEEL STARTED TO LOCK UP. THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS STARTED APPEARING ONE AFTER ANOTHER. I JUST MISSED A CAR NEXT TO ME TRYING TO GET OFF THE ROAD. I PULLED IN A PARKING LOT AND THE CAR STOPPED COMPLETELY, THE STEERING WHEEL, BRAKE, ACCELERATOR, EVERYTHING STOPPED RESPONDING. I ASSUMED IT MAY BE A BAD BATTERY, SO I GOT A JUMP, BUT AFTER 20 MINUTES, THE CAR REFUSED TO TURNOVER. THE LIGHTS STILL WORKED, THERE WASN'T ANY DIMMING. THE MECHANIC SPENT MOST OF THE FOLLOWING DAY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG, STILL BEING DIAGNOSED. I'VE SEEN THE SAME PROBLEM NOTED FOR NISSAN SENTRA AND OTHER MODELS, IT'S A SCARY THING FOR A VEHICLE TO COMPLETELY STOP ON A ROAD OR HIGHWAY, IF THE PARKING LOT WASN'T NEARBY, MY FAMILY AND I WOULD HAVE BEEN SITTING DUCKS TO ONCOMING TRAFFIC OR STRAINED ON A HIGHWAY. THIS IS BY THE MOST CARELESS VEHICLE ISSUE THAT WILL EVENTUALLY RESULT IN A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY. I'M CONCERNED THIS ISSUE HASN'T BEEN RESOLVED OR RECALLED.
WHEN I COME OUT MY HOUSE IN THE MORNING, I HAVE FOUND MY TRUNK OPEN SO FAR MORE THAN 5 TIMES AND AT TIMES WHEN I COME OUT OF A STORE THE TRUNK IS OPEN. IT'S ALWAYS WHEN THE VEHICLE IN PARK. I DON'T FEEL SAFE WITH THIS HAPPEN ALL THE TIME AND I FEEL LIKE ONE DAY IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AND SOMEONE GO IN MY TRUNK AND CAR AND TAKE WHATEVER THEY WANT. THE DOORS OR THE ALARM NEVER OPEN OR GOES OFF ON IT OWN BUT THE TRUNK DOES. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S THE KEY FOB OR WHAT.
PURCHASED FROM NISSAN OF NEWNAN, IN OCTOBER OF 2016 SENTRA - WHILE DRIVING THE CAR IT STARTED HESITATING BEFORE PICKING UP ANY SPEED FROM A STOPPED POSITION, WHILE TRYING TO ACCELERATE, THEN CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, PULLED OVER TO READ THE MANUAL AND IT STATED TO CHECK THE GAS CAP, IT WAS NOT ON TIGHT SO I REMOVED IT A PLACED IT BACK, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT OFF. THE NEXT DAY WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, WHEN PRESSING ON THE GAS PEDAL THE ENGINE WOULD REV UP BUT THE CAR STARTING JERKING BEFORE GAINING TO 40 MILES PER HOUR, THE RMP GAUGE WOULD ZIP UP TO 4 GO BACK TO 2 BEFORE MOVING TO A HIGHER SPEED. WHEN THE CAR WAS PARKED AND TURNED OFF, ONCE I STARTED IT BACK UP THE CAR WOULD SHIFT INTO DRIVE, BUT THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP, THE DIAGNOSIS WAS DEALING WITH SOMETHING ELECTRICAL AND THE TRANSMISSION. LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD AND LESS THAN 100,000 MILES. I OWNED OLDER MODEL FOR 5 YEARS, OVER 200,000 MILES BEFORE I HAD ANY PROBLEMS FROM THE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION.

2016 NISSAN SENTRA SV WITH 10K MILES ONLY, CAR STALLED WHILE DRIVING AT 25 MPH. ENGINE LIGHT AND BATTERY LIGHT FLASHED FOR FEW SECONDS. CAR STALLED AND DEAD IN THE MIDDLE OF ROAD FOR FEW MINUTES. AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO START THE CAR, IT WORKED AND STARTED BEHAVING NORMALLY AS NOTHING EVER HAPPENED. WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS ISSUE FROM 1 YEAR OLD CAR WITH ONLY 10K MILES.
ONGOING AND SIGNIFICANT ACCELERATION PROBLEMS; MOST NOTABLE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE FROM A STOPPED POSITION TO 40-45 MPH. THE RPMS WILL REV BETWEEN 5-6 (BUT STILL STRUGGLE). ONCE THE CAR HITS AROUND 40MPH THERE ARE LESS PROBLEMS. OCCASIONALLY FEEL THAT THE CAR IS STALLING OUT AT HIGHER SPEEDS (IE ON HIGHWAY). PROBLEMS ARE INTERMITTENT, MOST NOTABLE WHEN CAR IS COLD. REPORTED TO DEALERSHIP, BROUGHT IN FOR CHECK. THEY COULD NOT IDENTIFY ANY RELATED 'COMPUTER CODES' - FEEL I AM BEING IGNORED DESPITE MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE.
ON 12\07\2017 THE CAR WAS HIT SO HARD IT TOTAL THE CAR OUT. IT WAS IN THE FRONT AN THE AIR BAGS DID NOT COME OUT. ME AND A FRIEND WAS IN THE CAR WE BOTH HURT BUT DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE. THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN OWNED OVER A YEAR. THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAS NOT REPLIED TO IF THEY ARE GOING TO PAY THE 27,000. I AM AT A LOST FOR WORDS. NO CAR FOR WORK HAVE TO TURN THE RENTAL IN ON THE 27 OF THIS MONTH. THANK YOU SAD AN CONFUSED. BY THE WAY THE CAR WAS IN DRIVE BUT AT A STAND STILL.
PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED SINCE I PURCHASED CAR IN 10/2016 TIL PRESENT. IT IS INTERMITTENT. WHEN INITIATING A RIGHT TURN FROM STATIONARY 0 SPEED AND WHILE ON THE GAS PEDAL, THE CAR DOES NOT MOVE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES SUSTAINED THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN UNKNOWN LOCATION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000.

MY VEHICLE JERKS AND MAKES NOISE WHEN SHIFTING IN GEARS. THE TRANSMISSION SLIPS AND CAR PERFORMANCE IS NOT LIKE IT SUPPOSE TO DO. I HAVE READ RECALLS ON THE NISSAN SENTRA AND MY VEHICLE IS EXPERIENCING THE ISSUES THAT ARE FOUND ON OTHER VEHICLES.

NOW ITS 1/16/18 BROUGHT THE CAR BACK IN AGAIN AND SERVICE CAN HEAR GRIND/SQUEAK SOUND MILEAGE UNDER 12,000 MILES AND SHOP WANTS TO SHAVE THE ROTORS ON MY CAR AND REPLACE BRAKE PADS. I DO NOT WANT MY ROTORS SHAVED AS THAT MAKES IT ONE LESS TIME I CAN DO THAT IN THE FUTURE. SO SERVICE REPLACES WITH NEW NISSAN ROTORS AND BRAKE PADS. CAR IN SHOP FOR 10 DAYS NOW ITS 8/16/18 CAR HAS LESS THEN 5,000 MILES ON NISSAN FACTORY PARTS AND BRAKES ARE MAKING NOISE AGAIN. MASON IN SERVICE WANTS TO SHAVE MY ROTORS AND REPLACE BRAKE PADS BUT NISSAN DOES NOT WANT TO COVER THEM UNDER WARRANTY. I TELL THEM ITS OK TO SHAVE ROTORS THIS TIME BUT FEEL NISSAN SHOULD HAVE BETTER PARTS. WITH THE FEW MILES THAT ARE ON THE BRAKES AND ROTORS. CAR HAS LESS THEN 16,000 MILES ON IT. CAR IN SHOP FOR ANOTHER DAY. NISSAN HAS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THESE BRAKE PADS THEY ARE USING MASON THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID NISSAN HAS A BULLETIN ABOUT THE NOISE THERE BRAKES MAKE. WELL I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO KNOW THAT WHEN I WAS PURCHING THIS VECHILE. AS OF WRITING THIS LETTER THE BRAKES STARTED TO SQUEAK AGAIN. I AM TIRED OF DRIVING THIS CAR IN PUBLIC AND IT SOUNDING LIKE A OLD COP CAR OR TAXI CAB. I BOUGHT A NEW CAR FOR A REASON! SO IN CLOSING THE CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 12 DAYS SO FAR, HAS HAD NEW BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS REPLACED TWICE AND THE CAR HAS LESS THEN 17,000 MILES ON IT NOW. NISSAN IS SELLING VEHICLES KNOWING THAT TRANSMISSIONS WILL ONLY LAST 2 YEARS BUT OVERCHARGING CONSUMERS AND CONSUMERS ARE STUCK WITH VEHICLE REPAIRS WHICH IS NOT AFFORDABLE. I GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT GOING 55+ MPH ON THE FREEWAY AND GOT HIT BY A BIG RIG AND NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. PRIOR TO THIS I HAD TAKEN THE VEHICLE FOR AN OIL CHANGE WHEN I WAS TOLD THE AIRBAGS WERE RECALLED SO THEY FIXED THEM. WHILE BRAKING THE AIR CONDITIONING SHUTS OFF. THE DEALER SAY THEY HAVE "FIXED" THE PROBLEM TWICE AND THEN ON MY 3RD ATTEMPT TO HAVE IT FIXED THEY INFORMED ME IT IS A "NORMAL WORKING CONDITION" THEY THEN TOLD ME I WAS TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR SURVEY LIST BECAUSE OF A POTENTIALLY BAD REVIEW AND THEN WAS TOLD I COULDN'T BRING THE CAR BACK FOR THIS ISSUE ANYMORE.
BREAK FAILED TO STOP THE CAR. BREAK PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED ALL THE WAYTO THE FLOOR. JUST DIDN'T COME TO FULL STOP. HAPPENED 2 DAYS IN A ROW. THE LATTER INCIDENT HIT THE CAR IN FRONT. NISSAN POSTED A NEW RECALL FOR NISSAN SENTRAS (17V-253 RECALL DATE: APRIL 13, 2017) HOWEVER THEY HAVE NOT ACTUALLY RELEASED PARTS FOR THIS RECALL AND WILL NOT FOR SEVERAL MORE WEEKS. THEY ARE MISLEADING THE PUBLIC THAT THERE IS A FIX FOR THIS AIRBAG ISSUE WHEN IN FACT THERE IS NO CURRENT REMEDY.
PURCHASED MY CAR IN LATE NOVEMBER. BEFORE THE CAR HIT 1,000, I RETURNED IT TO NISSAN BECAUSE THE CAR WOULDN'T SHIFT AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. THE MECHANIC AT NISSAN RAN TEST AND SAID THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE. NOW MY CAR IS MAKING TERRIBLE NOISES WHEN I COME TO A STOP AND WHEN I'M CHANGING THE GEARS. I PURCHASED MY NISSAN 12/27/2016 WITH 0 MILES ON IT. I HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT THAT THE CAR WAS IN A RECALL STATUS SINCE 5/2016. IT IS NOW ONLY 1/18/2017 BUT THESE SAFETY CONCERNS WERE NEVER MENTIONED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. AS OF YET I HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM BUT I HAVE ONLY OWNED THE CAR 3 WEEKS; BUT I THINK THE BIGGER ISSUE IS A LARGE DEALERSHIP KNOWINGLY SELLING FAULTY CARS TO UNSUSPECTING BUYERS.
