THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE WAS LEANING LOW, AND THE STRUT AND SPRING ASSEMBLY BRACKET DETACHED FROM THE FRAME AND WAS PUSHED INTO THE WHEEL WELL. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER (LEE NISSAN IN AUBURN, MAINE) AND HAS REMAINED THERE SINCE FEBRUARY 23, 2018 AWAITING A DECISION FROM THE MANUFACTURER. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,000.
