The Odor will last a few hours then go away. But if I have not drove the vehicle that day no odor will be present. It Is smelled back by the gas cap leading me to believe it’s ether the fuel hose receiver or the fuel pump that after investigation have found out the fuel pump is under the back seat on the passenger side. But it is important to note there is never a fuel smell inside the vehicle.
