THE TRUCK NEEDED A TOTAL TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT WHILE IT WAS FAIRLY NEW. THE VEHICLE STOPPED WITH NO ABILITY TO REVERSE OR DRIVE. I HAVE READ ON FORUMS HOW OTHERS HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS. WHILE SO MANY OTHER DEFECTS HAVE BEEN UNCOVERED WOULD YOU PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE TRANS PROBLEMS ON THIS MODEL.

I HAVE CONTACTED DEALER, AND THEY HAVE TOLD ME THEY ARE STILL WAITING ON PARTS? I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE, NOT KNOWING IF PINION GEAR IS GOING TO BACK OUT OF REAR END! SMALL ROCKS ARE GETTING LODGED BETWEEN BEDSIDE AND WHEEL TUB CAUSING OUTWARD PROTRUSIONS ON THE RIGHT BEDSIDE. ACCORDING TO DEALER THERE ARE ISOLATED CASES OF THIS HAPPENING HOWEVER THIS ISSUE IS ALSO OCCURRING ON MY OTHER 2011 RAM 1500 AS WELL. BEING AS THESE VEHICLES TRAVEL GRAVEL ROADS DAILY IT WOULD SEEM THERE WOULD BE A GREATER CHANCE OF THIS OCCURRING ON MY VEHICLES THEN MOST SOLD THAT NEVER LEAVE PAVEMENT. THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A DEFECT IN THE DESIGN OF THIS VEHICLE AS IT IS HAPPENING TO BOTH OF MY TRUCKS AND SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP AND RENT A CAR FROM HERTZ. THE DEALERSHIP HAS HAD THE TRUCK NOW FOR 4 DAYS AND STILL CAN NOT TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPAIRED TWICE FOR THE FRONT END. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT EITHER 35, 45, 55, 65 OR 75 IT WOBBLES, VIBRATES SOMETHING FIERCE AND THEN IT SEEMS YOU REACH A CERTAIN DISTANCE AT THAT SPEED OR A BUMP IN THE ROAD AND BAM IT FINE FOR A WHILE UNTIL IT DOES IT AGAIN. AND IT WILL GET TO THE POINT THAT YOU SMELL AXLE GEAR OIL. WHEN I WENT TO HAVE IT REPAIRED THE FIRST TIME I WAS TOLD THE FRONT WHEEL BEARING WAS CHANGED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AND IF IT WERE TO MAKE THE SAME NOISE BRING IT BACK MADE THE SAME WOBBLE NOISE BROUGHT IT TO ANOTHER PLACE THEY REPLACED THE WHEEL BEARING (SAME ONE) AND THE WHOLE FRONT AXLE AND SAID IT WAS FIXED, I TOOK IT HOME AND LOW AND BEHOLD SAME PROBLEM. NO I AM TRYING TO HAVE THE LAST PLACE FIX WHAT HE DIDN'T FIX AND I AM CATCHING A NIGHTMARE TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THAT GUY BECAUSE EVERYTIME HE SAYS SOMEONE WILL BE THERE TO BRING THE VEHICLE BY NO ONE IS THERE. *TR

THEY STATED THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PART, HOWEVER WE WOULD RECEIVE A SECOND NOTICE ON THE RECALL AND THEY WOULD MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE THE PART IN THE VEHICLE. PHONECALL TO THE CHRYSLER RECALL ASSISTANCE CENTER NOT ONLY CONFIRMED THE NONAVAILABILITY OF THE PARTS BUT COULD NOT FURNISH ANY TIMEFRAME AS TO WHEN THEY MIGHT BE AVAILABLE. A CHECK WITH THE LOCAL DEALER INDICATES NO PART AVAILABILITY INFORMATION EITHER.. CHRYSLER HAS IDENTIFIED A DEFECT THAT COULD CAUSE INJURY OR EVEN DEATH TO VEHICLE OCCUPANTS OR OTHERS BUT HAS FAILED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO OWNERS OR DEALERS AS TO WHEN IT COULD BE REMEDIED. THIS INDICATES A LACK OF CONCERN BY THE MANUFACTURER TO AFFECT THE TIMELY CORRECTION OF THIS LIFE THREATENING PROBLEM. AFTER HAVING THE GAS PEDAL REPLACED A FEW MONTHS LATER, NOW 4/11/2013 THE ETC BOLT LIGHT AND ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AT CITY SPEEDS AS I SLOWED FOR TRAFFIC , WHEN I LET OFF THE BRAKE THE TRUCK SPEED UP VERY FAST WITHOUT EVER USING CRUISE CONTROL OR TOUCHING THE GAS. I ALMOST RAN A RED LIGHT, HAD TO SMASH THE BRAKE DOWN HOLDING STEERING WHEEL TIGHT TO STOP THE TRUCK AFTER TURNING KEY OFF. I THEN RESTARTED IT I PUT IT IN DRIVE. WHEN I LET OFF BRAKE THE TRUCK TOOK OFF LIKE HECK, ALMOST LIKE IT WAS FLOORED ON ITS OWN. THE CAR DEALER CALLED THE FOR ADVICE ON THIS ONGOING PROBLEM. THEY THEN REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS THE DEALERS FAULT, I BELIEVE IT IS A DEFECT IN THE WIRELESS DRIVE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY BUILDER AND RECALLED. *TR

I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED MY DODGE DEALER WHO INFORMED ME THAT THE PART(S) WERE NOT AVAILABLE AND TO CHECK BACK IN A FEW WEEKS. I HAVE CHECKED FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS AND TO DATE THE PART(S) ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE. WHY? IT'S MY SAFETY AND OF MY FAMILY TO GET THIS REPAIRED ASAP, WHAT ABOUT OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD THAT ARE EFFECTED OR MIGHT BE INVOLVED IN A CRASH OF ONE THAT DOES HAVE THIS PROBLEM?
