The contact stated that the air bag did not deploy upon impact , however after he hit his head on the steering wheel , the air bag deployed. The contact stated he and the other driver did sustain head injuries, and required medical attention. The contact stated that a police report was filed and the ambulance arrived to transport them to the hospital. The contact stated the police had the vehicle towed to collision center, where it remained. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 19,100.
