Defect Description

Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2021 Urus vehicles. Cracks may develop on the surface of the engine cylinder bore.

Safety Consequence

Cracks may cause engine damage and a stall or an oil leak, increasing the risk of a crash or fire.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the engine, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 25, 2021. Owners may contact Lamborghini at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L636-R.03.21.
