Defect Description

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Taycan vehicles. An occupant classification system error may deactivate the front passenger air bag.

Safety Consequence

An air bag that fails to deploy during a crash increases the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the front passenger seat cushion, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 24, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ASA2.
