Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)WE PURCHASED A 2007 SAAB 9-5 FROM CAPPELINO SAAB ON JULY 27, 2009. THE SAFETY PROBLEM WITH THE CAR IS THE FACT THAT THE BRAKE FOOT PEDAL IS TOO CLOSE TO THE GAS PEDAL. WHEN MY FOOT IS ON THE GAS PEDAL AND I HAVE TO MOVE IT TO THE BRAKE IT GETS STUCK BECAUSE THE SPACE BETWEEN THE BRAKE AND THE WALL TO THE RIGHT OF THE GAS PEDAL IS TOO CLOSE. THIS IS A REAL DANGER! WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET IT CORRECTED ? A DEATH OR 2, OR 400? I ALSO HAVE A 2001 SAAB 9-5 AND THIS PROBLEM DOES NOT EXIST. HOW CAN A CAR PRODUCER BE ALLOWED TO PRODUCE DANGEROUS CARS LIKE THIS? THIS IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN! *TR
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
