TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MOVED THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROADWAY AND WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE THEN RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE EXAMINED FOR THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 40,000. UPDATED 10/28/10. *LJ THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. UPDATED 11/02/10*JB
POWER STEERING LIGHT WOULD COME ON AND OFF AND THEN WHILE DRIVING PS WENT OUT. HAD TO STOP AND RESTART ENGINE AND THEN POWER STEERING WORKED. DID THIS FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AND THEN DEALERSHIP SAID DIAGNOSTIC CODES WERE C0550 AND C0460. FOUND INTERNAL MALFUNCTION AT PSCM. REPLACED AND NEVER A PROBLEM UNTIL THE SAME THING HAPPENED 2/7/2014 WITH 165,000 MILES. HAS TO BE A DEFECTIVE PSCM. NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. SAFETY ISSUE. GM NOT GOOD AT RECALLING. *TR
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE BROKE WHEN MOVING FROM PARK INTO REVERSE. CABLE HAD CORRODED AND BROKE NEAR THE POINT OF CONNECTION TO THE TRANSMISSION IN FRONT OF THE FIREWALL. CAR ROLLED BACKWARDS AND WOULD NOT RESTART BECAUSE TRANSMISSION WAS NO LONGER IN PARK AND COULD NOT BE SHIFTED. 2008 SATURN AURA 3.5L WITH 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION WITH PROBLEMS VERY SIMILAR TO NHTSA ACTION NUMBER : EA11015. SATURN WOULD NOT COVER REPAIRS UNDER WARRANTY AND REPAIRS COST $307.72. IF BREAKAGE HAD OCCURRED SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN A PARKING LOT IT COULD HAVE BEEN VERY DANGEROUS WITH NO CONTROL OR ABILITY TO MOVE OUT OF TRAFFIC OR HARM'S WAY. SHOULD NOT HAVE WORN OUT AND BROKEN WITH 40,000 MILES AND 2 YEARS OLD. *TR
2008 SATURN AURA 4 CYL HAS POWER STEERING PROBLEMS. LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF AND THEN THE STEERING LOCKED UP WHILE I WAS DRIVING AT ABOUT 45 MPH. TURNED OFF ENGINE AND RESTARTED AND STEERING WAS BACK. HAVING THIS PROBLEM FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS. SATURN SAID NEEDS NEW MOTOR FOR ABOUT $300. RIDICULOUS!! *TR
EVER SINCE I HAVE BOUGHT MY CAR A 2008 SATURN AURA USED . MY BRAKE LIGHT COME ON AND STAY FOR NO REASON AND WHEN THEY ARE ON I CAN NOT USE MY CRUISE CONTROL. AND WHEN I PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL THE LIGHT WILL GO OFF. SO IF I'M DRIVING 60 AND MY BRAKE LIGHTS ARE ON AND NEED TO SLOW DOWN AND BRAKE THEY GO OFF I COULD GET REAR ENDED WHICH ALMOST HAPPENED TONIGHT. I TOOK IT INTO THE DEALER AND ALL THEY DID WAS GREASE SOMETHING IT DID NOT WORK!!!! I WILL BE GETTING A TICKET FROM OUR LOCAL SHERIFF BECAUSE I LIVE IN A SMALL OWN AND HE HAS SAID SOMETHING TO ME. IT HAPPENS FREQUENTLY. PLEASE HELP I DO NOT FEEL SAFE TRANSPORTING MY FAMILY . I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT OVER THE PHONE MONTHS AGO AND NEVER HEARD ANYTHING. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS FAILED. THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD REMAIN ILLUMINATED WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS NOT BEING DEPRESSED. THE BRAKE LIGHT WOULD SHUT OFF ONCE THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS ENGAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. A DIAGNOSTIC WAS PERFORMED HOWEVER, THE DIAGNOSTIC WAS UNABLE TO GENERATE A FAILURE CODE BECAUSE THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TEST DRIVEN AND THE FAILURE WAS DUPLICATED HOWEVER THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
REAR DOOR LOCK UNLOCK MECHANISM MALFUNCTION. LOCKS BUT WON'T UNLOCK. ALSO, WHEN BACKING UP AND TURNING WHEEL TO EXTREME RIGHT, FRONT END MOANS. ONE MECHANIC THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE ENGINE MOUNTS. BROUGHT IN SERVICE UNDER WARRANTY, AND THEY "LUBRICATED THE STEERING BOX." PROBLEM RECURRED AFTER WARRANTY EXPIRED. *TR
SIDE PASSENGER AIRBAG DEPLOYED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. THERE WAS NO OUTSIDE FORCE ON THE CAR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH OVER A GRASS PATCH, THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A POLE. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ILLUMINATED DURING THE INCIDENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. ALSO, WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE CONTACT INADVERTENTLY MADE CONTACT WITH THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER AND THE SHIFTER SWITCHED TO THE NEUTRAL POSITION. ALSO, THE POWER STEERING MALFUNCTIONED AND FAILED TO WORK WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
TOOK MY AURA INTO SATURN ON 12/21/09 FOR CLICKING NOISE, SATURN SERVICE REPOSITIONED INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT PER TECHNICAL BULLETIN. NOW HAVE THE SAME PROB GOING ON AGAIN BUT I FOUND ANOTHER SERVICE BULLETIN 06-02-32-002D DATED 06/17/2010 ALSO ANOTHER FOR FRONT END CLUNK/RATTLE/KNOCKS 06-02-32-007G DATED 04/05/2010. I AM CURRENTLY OUT OF WARRANTY WITH THE STEERING PROB AND NOISE FROM THE FRONT END. I HAVE CONTACTED SATURN CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY ARE NOT VERY HELPFUL. ALL THEY WANT ME TO DO IS TAKE IT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT DIAGNOSE THEN WE WILL GO FROM THERE. TODAY I FOUND OUT THE NOISE PROBLEM IN THE FROM END, IT IS THE STRUTS, BOTH HAVE TO BE REPLACED, BIG BUCKS. *TR
AFTER HAVING THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT REPLACED (23,330 MILED), I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN FOR STEERING VIBRATION AND NOISE WHEN TURNING AGAIN AT 25158 MILES. THE DEALER ORDERS PARTS, AND THE PARTS ARE REPLACED ON 1/12/2010. *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. THE CONTACT WAS REVERSING APPROXIMATELY 2 MPH INTO A PARKING SPACE WHEN THE VEHICLE ABNORMALLY ACCELERATED FORWARD. IMMEDIATELY, THE GEAR WAS MOVED FROM REVERSE' INTO PARK AND THEN THE VEHICLE ROLLED FORWARD WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT TURNED THE ENGINE OFF AND REMOVED THE IGNITION KEY CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STOP. THE ENGINE WOULD NOT RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE SHIFT CABLE CONTROL FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THERE WAS A MANUFACTURER'S RECALL RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE REFERENCE NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,782. UPDATED 11/16/10. *LJ
THE FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED WHILE UNDER WARRANTY NOV 9TH 2009 WHEN THE DOOR LOCK BECAME UNRESPONSIVE. THEY REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE. TODAY THE REMAINING 3 DO NOT WORK. WHEN I START THE CAR AND DRIVE OFF, IT IS MY BELIEF BASED ON NORMAL OPERATION OF THESE LOCKS, THAT MY DOORS ARE LOCKED AND PASSENGERS ARE SAFE. THE REALITY IS JUST THE OPPOSITE. NOT ONLY DOES IT BECOME A SAFETY ISSUE AS DESCRIBED, BUT IT ALSO BECOMES AN ISSUE WHEN YOU PARK YOUR CAR, LOCK YOUR DOORS WITH THE REMOTE, AND WALK AWAY WITH CONFIDENCE THAT YOUR CAR IS LOCKED WHEN IN FACT IT IS NOT DUE TO THE FAULTY CHEAP PRODUCT USED IN THIS CAR, AND OTHERS MANUFACTURED BY GM. WHEN I WENT ONLINE TO RESEARCH, I WAS SURPRISED BY THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON VARIOUS BLOG SITES COMPLAINING OF THE SAME ISSUE. I CONTACTED GM AND THE BEST THEY OFFERED WAS TO REPLACE ALL 4 LOCKS FOR HALF PRICE. THAT IS $500 INSTEAD OF $1000. WHILE I APPRECIATE THEIR OFFER,I KNOW FOR A FACT A REPLACEMENT ACTUATOR COSTS BETWEEN $5 AND $10, AND IT'S NOT ENTIRELY ABOUT THE MONEY. IT'S A MATTER OF RIGHT AND WRONG, SAFE AND NOT SAFE. THIS ISSUE IN MY MIND IS MORE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF PEOPLE THINKING THEY ARE SAFELY LOCKED IN THEIR CAR BY A SYSTEM THAT IS DESIGNED TO DO EXACTLY THAT. THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT EITHER. THESE LOCKS ARE STANDARD EQUIPMENT THAT I EXPECT TO WORK AND KEEP ME AND MY FAMILY SAFE MUCH IN THE SAME WAY I EXPECT MY BRAKES TO STOP THE CAR. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS BECAME A RECALL ON THIS AND OTHER VEHICLES LIKE IT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. *TR
THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM OF VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEN MAKING SHARP TURNS HAS PROGRESSED TO A CLICKING SOUND WHEN MAKING ALL TURNS. I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN ON 9/8/2009, THE DEALER ORDERED REPLACEMENT INTERMEDIATE STEERING PARTS. ON 9/28/2009, THE PARTS WERE REPLACED. *TT

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE MORE THAN ONCE. THE CONTACT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER:14V153000 (STEERING) AND EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19020.
I CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP, THE CAR WAS IN DRIVE. I ACCELERATED AND MY CAR DROVE BACKWARDS, IN REVERSE. I WAS FRIGHTENED AND DEEPLY CONCERNED. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR, NO REPAIR WAS DONE ON THIS SERIOUS PROBLEM. THE WORK ORDER STATES, THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE CONCERN. *TR
PURCHASED A NEW 2008 SATURN AURA 3/6/09, WITH 45 MILES RETURNED THE CAR ON 3/7/09 FOR DASH GLAZING, LATER THAT DAY THE MILEAGE WAS OVER 500 MILES. 10 DAYS LATER THE CAR STOPPED AND HAD TO BE TOWED IN. THE CARS SERVICE HISTORY SHOWED PREVIOUS SERVICE FOR THE SAME PROBLEM IN ADDITION TO MILEAGE OF 300 PLUS MILES. THE DEALER REFUSE TO COMPROMISE. I TRADED IN 1998 LEXUS AND PUT $5000.00 DOWN. AN OF 3/7/09 I HAVE REQUESTED A REFUND AND MY CAR DO TO ODOMETER TAMPERING. *TR

ABOUT EVERY 3 OR 4 MONTHS, THE HOOD LATCH RELEASES FROM THE PRIMARY AND ONLY THE SECONDARY LATCH IS HOLDING THE HOOD CLOSE. I DON'T NOTICE THIS UNTIL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS I NOTICE THE HOOD FLUTTERING IN THE WIND. I'VE LEASED THE CAR FOR ABOUT 7MONTHS AND THIS HAS HAPPENED MAY BE 2 OR 3 TIMES. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 10 MPH AND ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN, THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT IMPACT. THE SEAT BELT LOCKED AROUND THE CONTACT'S NECK. HER NECK WAS INJURED AND SHE WAS TRANSPORTED TO A PHYSICIAN DUE TO THE CHEMICALS EXPELLED FROM THE AIR BAGS. THE IMPACT WAS FORCEFUL ENOUGH THAT THE CONTACT THOUGHT SHE HAD BEEN SHOT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER AND THEY ADVISED HER NOT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,495 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 10,600.

CAR/TIRES HAS 4,000 MILES, NOTICED A SIDEWALL BULGE ON ONE TIRE..TOOK CAR TO GOODYEAR DEALER, MANAGER STATED BULGE DUE TO HIGH IMPACT DAMAGE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HIS DEFINITION OF "HIGH IMPACT IS"? VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN OFF ROAD CONDITIONS, ONLY NORMAL CITY DRIVING. VEHICLE HAS NEVER EXCEEDED 45 MILES PER HOUR (TO DATE)...NEVER HITTING HOLE/HOLES TO CAUSE DAMAGE. VERY CONCERNED ABOUT QUALITY AND/OR DEFECTS IN TIRE... *TR
I REPORTED A VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEN MAKING SHARP TURNS, BUT THE DEALER WAS NOT ABLE TO FIND THE PROBLEM. *TT
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHILE FILLING THE TANK WITH FUEL AT A SERVICE STATION, THE CONTACT OBSERVED A GASOLINE LEAK COMING FROM THE FUEL TANK UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. HE NOTICED A STREAM OF GASOLINE ON THE GROUND. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO THE SCENE FOR SAFETY CONCERNS. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY BEING TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 4,000. PHONE INTERVIEW UPDATE (JUL-09-2008): THE COMPLAINANT DID NOT REALIZE FOR A WHILE THAT THE FUEL TANK WAS LEAKING WHILE HE WAS REFUELING IT. HE ESTIMATED THAT FOUR GALLON OF GASOLINE WAS SPILLED. THE SATURN DEALER TOLD HIM THAT SOMETHING CONNECTING TO THE FUEL TANK WAS LEAKING AND THAT THE FUEL TANK HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS STILL AT THE SATURN DEALERSHIP AWAITING REPAIR.
MY SIDE OR SIDE CURTAIN AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY ON MY 2008 SATURN AURA. 1. I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE FAR LEFT LANE AT ABOUT 60MPH. A VEHICLE BEHIND ME CHANGED LANES ERRATICALLY TO THE RIGHT CROSSING OVER 4 LANES OF TRAFFIC. THE CAR HAD TO SWERVE BACK INTO THE LANE TO HER RIGHT WHEN SOMEONE ENTERED THE HIGHWAY. THE CAR WHO CHANGED LANES LOST CONTROL OF HER CAR AND WENT SIDEWAYS ACROSS THE LANES TO THE LEFT AND STRUCK MY RIGHT FRONT PASSENGER DOOR WITH THE FRONT END OF HER CAR. THIS PUSHED ME ACROSS THE BREAKDOWN LANE WITH THE LEFT FRONT FENDER (FROM THE HEADLIGHT DOWN TO THE BEGINNING OF THE DOOR) OF MY CAR STRIKING THE CONCRETE MEDIAN. 2. I WAS JARRED TO THE LEFT AND MY HEAD STRUCK THE LEFT DRIVER'S WINDOW. I LATER HAD SEVERE LEFT PAIN IN MY HEAD, BACK, HIP & LEG. I HAD A CT SCAN ON MY HEAD BUT NO INJURIES FOUND AND AN MRI ON MY BACK WHICH SHOULD DEGENERATION (A CONDITION WAS UNAWARE OF) AGGRAVATED BY THE ACCIDENT CAUSING INFLAMMATION AND PRESSURE ON THE SCIATIC NERVE. 3. MY CAR WAS REPAIRED AT A COST OF APPROX $11,000 (ALTHOUGH IT JUST WENT BACK INTO THE SHOP AS THEY FOUND THE MOTOR MOUNT BROKE AND NEEDED REPLACING SO IT WILL BE HIGHER). I ASKED IN THE BEGINNING WHY THE SIDE OR SIDE AIRBAGS NEVER DEPLOYED AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD LET ME KNOW. DUE TO MY INJURY AND TRYING TO LOCATE TRANSPORTATION FOR THE MONTH MY VEHICLE WAS IN THE SHOP I FORGOT TO FOLLOW UP ON THAT. NOW I ASKED AND WAS TOLD "IT DIDN'T MEET THE PARAMETERS". I ADVISED I WAS HIT SQUARE IN THE DOOR, WHAT EXACTLY ARE THE PARAMETERS? NO ONE AT THE SATURN BODY SHOP COULD TELL ME. I WAS REFERRED TO THE SATURN HOME OFFICE. THEY OPENED A "LEGAL FILE" ON THIS AND AFTER A FEW DAYS CALLED ME TO SAY THAT IT "DIDN'T MEET THE PARAMETERS". I AGAIN ASKED WHAT THOSE WERE AND THEY SAID THAT THE IMPACT HAD TO BE ON THE PILLAR AND NOT THE DOORS. I'M SORRY THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME. THEY REFERRED ME TO MY OWNER'S MANUAL AND THAT WAS THE END OF IT. *TR
I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY STEERING. I HEAR A CLUNKING SOUND AND LOOSE POP FEELING IN MY STEERING SHAFT ESPECIALLY ON STOP AND GO ON UPGRADES AND TURNING HARD SHARP TURNS.. THEY LUBED THE INTERMEDIARY STEERING SHAFT BUT ITS BACK AGAIN AFTER 5000 MILES. I FEEL THE CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. *TR

HE NOTICED IN THE VEHICLES OWNER'S MANUAL THAT THE ENGINE (4 CYLINDER) PART ILLUSTRATIONS ON PAGES 5-14 WERE IMPROPERLY ALIGNED WITH THE CORRESPONDING LETTER DESIGNATIONS ON PAGES 5-15. HE SENT TWO LETTERS TO THE MANUFACTURER AND NEVER RECEIVED A WRITTEN RESPONSE. HE DID RECEIVE TWO PHONE CALLS WITH CORRESPONDING REFERENCE NUMBERS INDICATING THAT HIS LETTERS WERE RECEIVED. AS OF CURRENT DATE HE HAS NOT RECEIVED A CORRECTION OF THE MANUAL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 22,000. BL
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE WOULD INTERMITTENTLY EXHIBIT ABNORMAL SHAKING AND JERKING. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE ENGINE WOULD BEGIN TO REV UNUSUALLY LOUD WITHOUT WARRANT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN IN TO BE EXAMINED FOR THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 25,000.
I OWN A 2008 SATURN AURA XR. THE CAR HAS BEEN TROUBLE SINCE I HAVE TAKEN IT HOME. IT HAS HAD A TOTAL OF 8 PROBLEMS WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR, AND NOW HAS A PROBLEM THAT IS DANGEROUS AND SATURN HAS BEEN UNABLE TO CORRECT. THE CAR IS LESS THAN A YEAR OLD WITH ONLY 14000 MILES. PERIODICALLY WHEN GOING AT SPEEDS ABOVE 55 MPH THE TRACTION AND STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM WILL ERROR. WHEN THIS OCCURS THE WHOLE CAR BEGINS TO SHAKE. THE ENGINE BEGINS STALLING OUT AND THE CAR BECOMES DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE. THE DEALERSHIP HAS NO IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. I AM SCARED TO DRIVE THE CAR. I HAVE VOICED MY CONCERNS WITH GENERAL MOTORS, AND THEY WERE NEGATIVE AND UNRESPONSIVE. THEY HAVE EQUIPPED MY CAR WITH A MONITOR SO THEY ARE ABLE TO RECORD EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS. I REQUESTED THEM SUPPLY ME WITH A RENTAL CAR, FOR SAFETY REASONS UNTIL THE CAR IS FIXED. GM HAS DENIED MY REQUEST. I ASKED GM TO GUARANTEE IN WRITING THAT THE CAR IS SAFE TO DRIVE, AND THEY WILL NOT. I HAVE ASKED GM TO REPLACE THE VEHICLE WHICH THEY HAVE ALREADY DENIED. I AM UNSURE WHAT TO DO FROM HERE, EXCEPT DRIVE AN UNSAFE VEHICLE, AS I CANNOT AFFORD TO PURCHASE ANOTHER NEW CAR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN AURA. WHILE DRIVING AT A LOW SPEED, THE CONTACT HEARD A NOISE COMING FROM THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE RACK AND PINION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,988.
