DRIVERS SIDE WINDSHIELD WIPER HAS BROKEN OFF AT THE BASE. NO SNOW IN AREA THAT WOULD OVERLOAD. I HAVE HEARD OTHER SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THIS MODEL. *TR
ON 1/9/10 THE WIPER MOTOR FAILED WHILE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AT ABOUT 50-55MPH DURING A RAIN STORM CAUSING THE WIPERS TO BECOME ENTANGLED. THE CAR WAS SERVICED AND THE PART WAS PLACED BY THE APPROPRIATE SATURN WIPER TRANSMISSION, WHICH FAILED ON 1/18/11 UNDER THE SAME CONDITIONS.
