CONSUMER STATED THAT ON THE DUNLOP TIRE P205/65R15 WHICH WAS PURCHASED WITH VEHICLE THE CORD SEPARATED FROM THE RUBBER OF THE TIRE, CAUSING A BUBBLE TO FORM IN THE TIRE, RESULTING IN THE VEHICLE VIBRATING WHEN TRAVELING. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER, DEALER KNOWS OF THE PROBLEM. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
NOISE COMES FROM THE BRAKE SYSTEM WHEN APPLYING BRAKES.

VEHICLE IS BEGINNIG TO RUST.
WHEN BRAKING THERE IS A LOUD CLUNCKING SOUND. MY HUSBAND TOOK THE CAR TO A TOYOTA REPAIR SHOP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE BRAKES WERE SLIPPING AND THAT THERE WASN'T ANYTHING THEY COULD DO BECAUSE THIS WAS THE BRAKE DEIGN. I'M CONCERNED THAT THE CONSTANT SLIPPING WILL EVENTUALLY RUIN THE BRAKES. THUS, ENDANGERING ANYONE IN THE CAR.

I OFTEN LOCK MY WIFE IN THE CAR IN CERTAIN AREAS. I LOCK THE DOOR WITH THE AUTOMATIC BUTTON ON THE INSIDE. WHEN I COME BACK TO THE CAR AND ASK HER TO OPEN IT FROM THE PASSENGER DOOR BUTTON(OR DRIVER'S) IT WON'T UNLOCK. THIS IS NOT A ONE TIME INCIDENT. IT IS FREIGHTENING ENOUGH THAT WE KEEP A SPARE KEY IN THE GLOVE BOX---IF SHE TURNS THE IGNITION ON--SHE CAN UNLOCK DOORS.
THE STEERING LINKAGE CAME LOOSE, ALLOWING THE FRONT TIRES TO GO IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO STEER. DEALER HAS NOT SEEN THE VEHICLE. *AK
HIGH NOISE LEVEL AND SEIZURE OF COMPRESSOR
ABS WARNING LIGHT REMAINS ILLUMINATED, INDICATING A MALFUNCTION WITHIN THE SYSTEM, CAUSE UNKNOWN. DEALER CANNOT IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM. *AK
WITHIN 96,000 MILES ENGINE HEAD GASKET CRACKED, CAUSING OIL TO LEAK WHICH MAY RESULT IN AN ENGINE FAILURE. *AK
REAR DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S DOORS ARE LEAKING, ADHESIVE INSIDE THE DOORS CAME OFF. CAUSE UNKNOWN. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS.
WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THE VEHICLE MAKES A LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE, AND EXPERIENCES EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. ALSO, VEHICLE HAS HAD THE FRONT BRAKE PADS REPLACED TWICE BEFORE, AND PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK

CONSUMER WENT TO PARK VEHICLE, TOOK KEY OUT OF IGNITION WHILE IT WAS STILL IN DRIVE, CAUSING VEHICLE TO ROLL. VEHICLE ROLLED OUT OF PARKING LOT, ACROSS STREET AND INTO A FENCE. *AK
WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THE VEHICLE WOULD KEEP GOING. DEALER TURNED ROTORS AND CHANGED BRAKE PADS/SHOES. *AK
ACCELERATOR STUCK AFTER PVC VALVE REPLACED CAUSED BY CLAMP ON PVC VALVE. WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 35 MPH IN TRAFFIC, NOTICED BRAKES DID NOT STOP CAR. TRIED TO PUMP ACCELERATOR HARD TO RELEASE BUT IT DID NOT WORK. RPM'S REACHED 6000. TRIED PUTTING CAR IN PARK BUT IT STOPPED AT REVERSE. CAR SCREECHED TO HALT AND SQUEALED INTO REVERSE IN LUNCH HOUR TRAFFIC. IMMEDIATELY PUT BACK IN DRIVE. AGAIN SCREACH AND SQUEAL AND GOING FORWARD. AFTER TWO ATTEMPTS TO GET CAR OUT OF GEAR, FINALLY GOT CAR INTO NEUTRAL AND PULLED TO SHOULDER OF ROAD. WHEW! TURNED KEY OFF. CALLED AAA. AAA MECHANIC 'SUPERVISOR' ON TOW TRUCK FOUND ACCELERATOR STUCK ON CLAMP FROM PCV VALVE. AAA 'SUPERVISOR' TURNED CLAMP AND SAID ACCELERATOR WOULD NOT STICK ON IT AGAIN. PVC VALVE HAD BEEN REPLACE AT LAST OIL CHANGE. NOW TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING IN 3RD AND REVERSE. WHILE ON A DOWNWARD HILL WITH CAR IN REVERSE, ROLLED FORWARD. CAR JERKS AROUND 45MPH. ESTIMATED COST TO REPAIR $1800-3200 (REBUILT VS. NEW). NOW NOTICE THAT STEERING COLUMN COVER RATTLES WHILE DRIVING? *AK

WHEN STARTING FROM DEAD STOP,ACCELERATOR LINKAGE HANGS UP AND WHEN PEDAL IS DEPRESSED ENOUGH TO EFFECT RELEASE, ENGINE IS IN HIGH RPM, CAUSING CAR TO LURCH SUDDENLY FORWARD. *AK
THE PASSINGER SEATBACK SHIFTS APPROXIMATELY 2 INCHES, CREATING A HAZARDOUS CONDITION FOR THE PASSINGER IN A FRONT END COLLISION SHOULDTHE AIRBAG DEPLOY. *AK

WHEN TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT THERE IS NOISE PRESENT. ALSO, A LACK OF CONTROL IN STEERING. DEALER SAYS RACK AND PINION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.*AK
VEHICLE HAS REQUIRED FOUR TIRE REPLACEMENTS, APPROXIMATELY EVERY 10,000MILES,SINCE OWNERSHP HAVE HAD ESCALATING PROBLEMS OF VEHICLE PULLING RIGHT,NEW TIRES HAE BEEN INSTALLED BECAUSE OF UNEVEN WEAR AT 30,445,38,800, 47,649 AND NOW 59,097 MILES, VEHICLE ALIGNMENT IN THE PAST HAS NOT SOLVED PROBLEM, CONSUMER WAS ADV THAT TIRE ROTATION WOULD CORRECT THE PULLING TO THE RIGHT OF THE VEHICLE,BY ROTATING THE TIRES BACK TO THE WAY THEY WERE, AND WAS ADV TO COME BACK IN AT 7,500 MILES THEN ROTATE TIRES AND DO AN ALIGNMENT, CONSUMER DID NOT GIVE TYPE OF TIRES, TIRE WEAR COULD BE RELATED TO A SUSPENSION PROBLEM OR TIRE PROBLEM. *JB

THE IDLE SPEED CONTROL VALVE BREAKS DOWN EVERY ABOUT TWO YEARS. IN COLD STARTING, ENGINE DOES NOT START. REPLACEMENT IS EXPENSIVE AT $400. TOYOTA SHOULD RECALL THIS INHERENTLY DEFECTIVE PART. MY PROBLEM BEGAN IN 1997, 1999 AND 2002.*AK
THE TOYOTA CAMRY 1995 WAS IN FOR 90,000 SERVICE ON 5/23/02. THE SERVICE TECH AT SCHAUMBURG TOYOTA REPORTED THAT I NEEDED 3 ENGINE MOUNTS. SINCE HE STATED THE WORK IS NEEDED FOR SAFETY REASONS I CONSENTED. THEN, AT THE TIME OF PICKING THE CAR UP, HE STATED THAT I WILL NEED AN EXHAUST PART . I FOUND OUT THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS CRACKED. I WAS NEVER IN AN ACCIDENT AND I HAD THE CAR FOR 5 YEARS. NLM
ABS LIGHT CAME ON FOR NO APPARENT REASON AND STAYED ON FOR TWO TRIPS. NEVER CAME ON AGAIN. WHEN THE CAR IS AT IDLE, THE OIL LIGHT COMES ON AND STAYS ON. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR IS PRESSED, THE LGIHT GOES OUT. OIL LIGHT ONLY COMES ON WHEN CAR IS NEARLY STOPPED, OR STOPPED COMPLETELY. THERE IS A GREY SLUDGE OOZING OUT OF THE BOTTOM DOOR SEALINGS. THIS IS PRESENT ON ALL FOUR DOORS, BUT IS VERY HEAVY ON BOTH PASSENGER DOORS. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN PRESENT FOR A FEW YEARS. CAR HAS BEEN FLAWLESS UNTIL RECENTLY WHEN THE IDLING PROBLEM OCCURED. DT
THE TRUNK LID FELL ON TOP OF THE CONSUMER, WHICH CAUSED INJURIES. THE LID HAS HIT THE CONSUMER ON THE BACK, HEAD AND NOSE.*JB
