Well when I pressed the gas pedal the vehicle stalled. It's happening now very often when I'm accelerating. Checked for dtc and none found . No check engine light on. Most likely fuel pump/ fuel supply problem. Fuel pump cost 412.00 dollars. Toyota needs to help cover my repair.
I've been noticing stalling when driving. No check engine light and no code detected by a scan tool. Now stalling become frequent and went to check for recalls. But so far not for my vehicle's year. How can I get Toyota to pay for the repair? Odometer : 46000 miles.
Experiencing vehicle hesitation when accelerating to go around another vehicle or going through traffic coming from another way. Very uncomfortable producing anxiety in not knowing what may happen. This incident happens frequently and unable to give specific date as to when it first began. My wife is noticing it's occurrence more frequently.
I PURCHASED THE CAMRY FROM DEALERSHIP, THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO PUT GAS IN IT THE FILLER NECK HAD A LOT OF DIRT IN IT. I INFORMED THE DEALER AND WITH A TOYOTA REPRESENTATIVE THERE THEY PUT A NEW CAP ON IT, AND INSISTED THAT WOULD FIX THE DIRT PROBLEM. A WEEK LATER I WENT TO PUT GAS IN CAR AND IT HAD A LOT OF DIRT INSIDE THE FILLER NECK AGAIN. I SCHEDULED ANOTHER APPOINTMENT WITH TOYOTA SERVICE AND WITH CONTACT WITH TOYOTA THEY INSISTED THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG AND WITH DIRT GETTING INSIDE WAS NOT A PROBLEM, I BELIEVE THE EVAP SYSTEM HAS BEEN TAMPERED WITH TO ALLOW FOR THIS TO OCCUR AND NO SYSTEM DEFECT COULD BE IDENTIFIED.
THERE IS A HESITATION PROBLEM NORMALLY WHEN STARTING FROM A STAND STILL.IT HESITATES FOR JUST 1-2 SECONDS. IT CAN BE DANGEROUS IN TRAFFIC.TOYOTA SERVICE SAYS THEY HAVE NO NOTICE OF A PROBLEM BUT CUSTAMERS ARE SAYING OTHERWISE.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
