Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)Purchased car in March 2023. August 2023, rainy day. Engine shut off when at light and foot on brake. Warning signals of "engine stopped, press brake firmly to restart,’ and ‘low power steering’.” displayed. Had to put car in park to restart. Took to Toyota dealership where purchased, they couldn't recreate. Happened again later that evening. Took pics of dash and took into dealership next day. They had it for almost 3 months. Said it was the second starter. Drove fine for about 3 months and then happened again on 3/8. Took in again and they could not recreate. Not safe to drive as it happens in heavy traffic somethimes.
