There are multiple blown out sections of the tire on both the internal and external sides of the tire that would appear to be a structural failure. This was definitely not a puncture due to the failures completely around the entire circumference on both sides of the tire. The tire was inflated as per spec. This caused vehicle instability and was a dangerous situation so he had to quickly pull to the side of the highway. The tire is available for inspection. I have not yet taken the car or tire to the shop for inspection. There were no warning lamps or other symptoms prior to the blowout. The tire size is: 235 / 55 R 19 101V
