When raining me than a sprinkle you cannot see wipers seem to bog down
On 11/14/2024 the windshield wipers started malfunctioning on my leased Toyota Tacoma. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. On 11/22/2024 I took the vehicle to Premier Toyota for service. I was told they do not have the parts, that was 9 weeks ago. This vehicle is unsafe with malfunctioning wipers.
The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the contact became aware of a large crack in the middle of the windshield. There was no impact to the windshield to cause the failure. The dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.
The windshield has a visual defect which presents itself as diagonal lines in bright situations when a car or other object is in front of the vehicle. The diagonal lines will appear in high contrast situations during the day, or at night when an oncoming vehicle's lights are on.
