Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)MY DAUGHTER WAS SITTING IN THE BACK SEAT OF THE CAR AND WHEN WE STOPPED TO GET OUT HER DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN. I THOUGHT MAYBE THE CHILD SAFETY LOCK WAS LOCKED SO I WENT ON THE INTERNET TO FIND A REASON FOR THE DOOR NOT ABLE TO OPEN FROM THE INSIDE BUT WOULD OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE. WHILE RESEARCHING WHAT THE PROBLEM IS I HAVE NOTICED MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE VERY SAME PROBLEM I AM HAVING. THE SAFETY PROBLEM IN THIS IS IF I WERE TO GET IN A ACCIDENT AND MY DAUGHTER NEEDED TO GET OUT OF THE CAR FROM THAT SIDE SHE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO. THE PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE A PIECE OF PLASTIC BREAKS LEAVING THE HANDLE FROM THE INSIDE IN-OP. *TR
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
