The contact stated that she did sustain multiple injuries to her wrist, eyes. and ribs. The contact stated that medical attention was needed and a police report was made. The contact stated that the vehicle was then towed to a tow yard where it had been deemed a total loss. The contact stated that she then contacted the dealer who advised her to contact the manufacturer, who advised her to contact NHTSA. The failure mileage was 60,000.
