The contact stated that she then contacted the dealer who advised her to contact the manufacturer, who advised her to contact NHTSA. The failure mileage was 60,000.

DRIVERS SEAT BELT LOCKED IN A POSITION WHERE IT BECAME UNUSABLE WHILE DRIVING. PASSENGERS BELT TENSION WAS VERY LOOSE AND DID NOT RETRACT ON ITS OWN. NO ACCIDENTS OR AGGRESSIVE BRAKING WERE INVOLVED.
