THE CONTACT INITIALLY CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND SPOKE WITH THREE DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVES WHO REFUSED TO INFORM HIM IF THE VIN WAS UNDER RECALL. THE CONTACT THEN SPOKE TO AUTOBARN VOLVO CARS OAK PARK (1140 GARFIELD ST, OAK PARK, IL 60304) WHERE HE WAS GIVEN AN ESTIMATE FOR A DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THE CONTACT DECLINED THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST.
