MY CAR HAS A LEAKING HIGH PRESSURE FUEL LEAK FROM THE HIGH PRESSURE HOSE RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE ENGINE BLOCK AT THE REAR OF THE ENGINE. THE STEEL LINE CONNECTS DIRECTLY TO THE FILTER AND IS LEAKING FROM THE STAINLESS STEAL LINE. THE POWER STEERING METAL HOSE LINES ARE INCORRECT FROM THE FACTORY AND DO NOT SUPPLY ENOUGH PRESSURE IN THE LINE TO KEEP THE STEERING WHEEL FROM A VERY HARSH LOW SPEED SHUDDER WHEN TURNING. THE LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS FAIL AT VERY LOW MILEAGE. NONE OF THESE ISSUES HAVE BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED ON THIS YEAR CAR. THIS MODEL AUDI IS AN ABSOLUTE LEMON HAVING MULTIPLE ISSUES AND EXTREME REPAIRS AND HUGE COSTS WHEN TRYING TO FIX THEM. I HAVE THE PAPER WORK FOR THESE FIXES AND WHAT IT TAKES TO REPAIR THEM CORRECTLY. I HAVE ALREADY HAD THIS CAR REPAIRED FROM AUDI FOR THE PISTON RING OIL FAILURE WHICH THEY HAD TO REPLACE PER THE LAWSUIT THEY WERE HIT WITH AND STILL DENIED ANY WRONG DOING. PLEASE FORCE THIS COMPANY TO RIGHT THESE ISSUES THEY IGNORED IN THE FACE OF PROFITS INSTEAD OF DOING RIGHT BY THE CONSUMER.
I HAVE CALLED JACKSONVILLE FL AUDI DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE I RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT MY AIR BAGS ARE BAD. THEY KEEP TELLING ME THEY DON'T HAVE A REPLACEMENT FOR IT? I DON'T LIKE THE IDEA OF DRIVING THE CAR WITH FAULTY AIR BAGS. CAN YOU ASSIST IN GETTING ME THE AIRBAGS REPLACED ASAP? *TR

WE BOUGHT TWO 2009 AUDI A4'S FOR OUR CHILDREN. LAST MONTH ONE WENT TO THE THE DEALER BECAUSE THE ENGINE FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REBUILT BECAUSE OF OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE, WHILE THERE THE DEALER INFORMED US THAT THE WATER PUMP WAS FAILING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACE. I QUESTIONED THE DEALER AND CALLED AN INDEPENDENT AUDI MECHANIC, BOTH SAID THE SAME THING, WE WERE LUCKY IT LASTED THIS LONG AUDI HAS KNOWN FROM THE BEGINNING THAT THIS WATER PUMP IS FLAWED AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED. NOW FAST-FORWARD TO YESTERDAY, MY DAUGHTER TOOK HERS IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND THE MECHANIC, A DIFFERENT INDEPENDENT AUDI MECHANIC, SAID CAR WAS FINE EXCEPT WATER PUMP WAS FAILING!!!! HE SAID ITS A KNOWN PROBLEM AND AUDI IS FULLY AWARE OF IT, ITS A $1200 REPAIR NOT INCLUDING THE SUGGESTED TIMING BELT CHANGE. TWO CARS, SAME EXACT MODEL AND ENGINE, THIS CANNOT BE A COINCIDENCE. PLEASE HELP!!!
RECEIVED RECALL NOTIFICATION AT THE BEGINNING OF APRIL. I CALLED BOTH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE AUTO MANUFACTURER. THEIR RESPONSE IS THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A TIMELINE FOR THE PARTS TO COME IN AND THEREFORE, IT WILL TAKE TIME TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE AIR BAGS. TOYOTA DEALT WITH THIS PROBLEM QUICKLY. WHY IS IT TAKING AUDI SO LONG TO REPAIR THIS DEFECTIVE AIR BAG. WHAT HAPPENS IF I WAS TO GET IN AN ACCIDENT AND I INJURED DUE TO THIS DEFECTIVE AIR BAG AND IT WASN'T REPLACED ASAP. CALL TO AUDI CUSTOMER SERVICE, SPOKE TO JUDITH AND AUDI MANUFACTURER SERVICE SPOKE TO ADAM. BOTH SAID THAT THEY HAD NO TIMELINE AS WHEN THEY WILL RECEIVE THE PARTS AND WHEN THEY WILL REPAIR THE CARS. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. THE 60 DAYS ARE LONG OVERDUE.

AFTER CONTACTING THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WERE STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND NO ESTIMATED TIME FOR RECEIVING THE PARTS COULD BE GIVEN. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
TAKATA RECALL: I RECENTLY LEARNED THAT BOTH MY DRIVER SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE TAKATA AIRBAGS WERE RECALLED ON MY 2009 AUDI A4. I HAVE CALLED AND VISITED TWO DEALERSHIPS IN PERSON AND MADE OVER 5 PHONE CALLS TO THE MANUFACTURER TO TRY TO GET MY VEHICLE'S REPAIR ESCALATED, AS MY VEHICLE BEGAN IT'S "LIFE" IN FLORIDA, AND HUMID REGIONS ARE TO BE GIVEN PRIORITY, BUT TO NO AVAIL. AUDI, THE MANUFACTURER, HAS INSTRUCTED ME TO TALK DIRECTLY TO DEALERSHIPS AND THE DEALERSHIPS TELL ME TO CALL AUDI INTERNATIONAL. BOTH ARE POINTING FINGERS AT THE OTHER, AND NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING TO AID THE SITUATION. I HAVE ASKED FOR REPAIR, LOANER VEHICLES, A BUYBACK, AND HAVE MET NO RESULTS. I NO LONGER WANT TO DRIVE MY CAR, AS I DO NOT FEEL SAFE, AND AM SAVING UP FOR MY WEDDING, SO MY FIANCE AND I ARE SHARING OUR OTHER, RELIABLE AND SAFE VEHICLE, AT THIS TIME, WHICH HAS PROVEN DIFFICULT. I NO LONGER FEEL COMFORTABLE DRIVING MY SEVEN YEAR OLD LITTLE BROTHER AROUND IN MY CAR, NOR DO I FEEL SAFE GETTING BEHIND THE WHEEL. I DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE TRYING TO SELL MY CAR TO ANOTHER CONSUMER, KNOWING THAT IT IS NOT SAFE, AND NO REPLACEMENT PARTS OR REPAIR SOLUTION IS IN SIGHT. THE DEALER ESTIMATES JANUARY 2017 AT BEST, BUT CLAIMS IT'S UNLIKELY THAT TAKATA WILL RESPOND WITH PARTS EVEN BY THEN. WE ARE LEFT WITH NO OPTIONS EXCEPT FOR OWNING AND NOT DRIVING AN UNSAFE VEHICLE. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PRODUCT THAT THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO STAND BEHIND. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I BEEN DOING A LOT OF RESEARCH AND I SEEN THAT THERE ARE MANY VEHICLES THAT THE "ADD 1 QUART OF OIL LIGHT TO KEEP DRIVING" LIGHT COMES OUT. MANY HAVE SAID IS A PISTONS PROBLEM THAT NEED TO BE RECALLED BY AUDI. THE LIGHT WARNING COMES OUT RANDOMLY EVERY MONTH. THERE ARE NO LEAKS IN MY VEHICLE. I HAVE TWO BUY 3 BOTTLES IN OIL EVERY MONTH. THE AUDI RECALL/SERVICE CAMPAIGN LOOKUP TOOL SAYS THAT [XXX] IN PARSIPPANY HAS THE PART, BUT [XXX] SAYS THAT THEY DO NOT AND DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT WILL COME IN. CALLED THE DEALER - WHO SAID HE HAD NO PARTS FOR THE REPAIR, AND WAS NOT AUTHORIZED TO PROVIDE A LOANER CAR. I CALLED AUDI CORPORATE, AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. THIS WEEK, A SECOND RECALL NOTICE CAME, THIS TIME FOR THE PASSENGER AIR BAG. I RARELY DRIVE THE CAR BECAUSE OF THIS. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF?

SUN ROOF DRAINS ON RIGHT HAND SIDE OF VEHICLE HAVE FAILED (FAIL TO SEAL OUT EXTERNAL WATER LIKE RAIN) LEADING TO SIGNIFICANT QUANTITIES OF WATER ENTERING THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AND DRAINING INTO VARIOUS AREAS OF THE CAR DURING ANY MEASURABLE RAIN FALL. THE LAST RAIN STORM OF ABOUT 1/3" WAS ENOUGH TO CAUSE THE FOLLOWING DAMAGE. WHILE PARKED OVERNIGHT, SOME OF THE WATER POOLED IN THE RIGHT REAR BODY COLUMN SPACE WHERE THE MASTER COMPUTER FOR MUCH OF THE CAR IS LOCATED. THE WATER SHORTED OUT THE COMPUTER AND LEFT CAR INOPERABLE, UNMOVEABLE, UNUSABLE UNTIL IT WAS TOWED AND REPLACED, THIS INCLUDED THE PURCHASE OF A NEW COMPUTER AND ITS PROGRAMMING AND THE REPROGRAMMING OF THE CAR'S KEYS. ADDITIONALLY THE WATER SATURATED THE CARPET THROUGHOUT THE CAR AND THE SEATS. THE SUNROOF DRAIN REPAIR WAS EXPENSIVE AS WERE THE COMPUTER REPLACEMENT AND REPROGRAMMING. AUDI HAS SETTLED A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR LEAKY SUNROOF DRAINS FOR MODEL YEARS 2005-2008, MINE IS A 2009 SO NO LUCK FROM AUDI ON PAYING FOR ANY OF IT, AND WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN THEY DENIED ANY FAULT IN THE MATTER.

TAKATA RECALL. NO REMEDY YET? DRIVER SIDE RECALL IN FEBRUARY! AUDI IS DRAGGING THEIR FEET.AND I AM IN A HIGH RISK GEOGRAPHIC AREA. (SOUTH CAROLINA) WE HAVE HAD A HOT HUMID SUMMER. WHY DID NHTSA RECALL EVERYTHING WHEN THE HIGH RISK AREAS NEED TO ADDRESSED FIRST! STUPIDITY ON NHTSA'S PART, THEY WILL BE NAMED AS WELL IN ANY FUTURE LAWSUIT.

TAKATA RECALL - I BOUGHT MY CAR IN FEBRUARY 2016, AND I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET MY DEADLY AIRBAG REPLACED. EACH TIME I CHECK ON THE RECALL, I GET THE FOLLOWING DISAPPOINTING MESSAGE: "DRIVER FRONTAL AIRBAG TAKATA PSDI-5 INFLATORS REPAIR NOT YET AVAILABLE" AFTER A 20 MONTH WAIT, A REPAIR SHOULD BE READY BY NOW.
MY CAR JUMP TIMING TODAY. I FIRST HAD AND OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE WITH NEW PISTON AND RINGS INSTALLED. AND IN 2015 AND REAR MAIN SEAL WENT OUT. NOW IN 2016 THE MOTOR JUMP TIMING PULLING OUT OF THE GARAGE THIS MORNING. GREAT PLASTIC TIMING CHAIN TENSIONS AUDI REFUSE TO AMMIT THEY A JUNK. THANKS AUDI FOR A GREAT QUALITY CAR.
TAKATA RECALL I HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY MAIL, FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW, THAT THE AIRBAGS IN MY CAR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED DUE TO THE RECALL. THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS BEEN REPLACED, YET THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG HAS NOT. I AM CONSTANTLY AFTER MY DEALERSHIP TO INFORM ME AS TO THE TIME FRAME FOR REPLACEMENT, BUT THEY NEVER HAVE ANY INFORMATION. THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING NOW FOR SEVERAL YEARS. CAN ANYTHING BE DONE TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS.
THE HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL PUMP FAILED, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO BUCK SUDDENLY AND STALL WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC.
VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON A SUBURBAN ROAD, DRIVING FORWARD, WHEN IT DEVELOPED FORWARD/BUCKING MOTION BEFORE STALLING/STOPPING IN TRAFFIC. UPON DEALER INSPECTION, THE VEHICLE'S HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP WAS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED, WHICH DIRECTLY CAUSED A FAILURE OF THE ENGINE CAM SHAFT, RESULTING IN A COSTLY REPAIR TO CORRECT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 AUDI A4. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT FOUND OIL SPILLS UNDER THE VEHICLE. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THERE WAS A BURNING ODOR OF OIL COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR MAIN SEAL OF THE ENGINE'S CRANKSHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THIS CAR HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE .. AFTER BASICALLY HAVING THE ENGINE REBUILT DUE TO AN OIL CONSUMPTION LAWSUIT THAT HAD BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM SINCE 19,000 MILES AND JUST BEEN BANDAIDED UP WITH EXCUSES FROM THE DEALERSHIP, BUT NOW THE VIBRATIONS ARE BLAMED ON THE MOTOR MOUNTS. WILL THE CRAP JUST EVER END? OR WILL I FIX THE MOUNTS AND WE CAN POINT THE FINGER AT SOMETHING ELSE. IT JUST SEEMS LIKE THERE IS NO END.. PERSONALLY THIS CAR SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED WITH ALL THE ISSUES- SOMETHING JUST DIDN'T HAPPEN FOR THEM IN 2009 APPARENTLY. THE MOTOR MOUNTS SHOULD HAVE NEVER GONE BAD IN THIS VEHICLE AT THIS POINT BEING THE HIGH END CAR THEY CLAIM TO MANUFACTURE..I WOULD LOVE MY CAR IF IT RAN CORRECTLY- AND SINCE 19,000 MILES IT HASN'T - THAT IS SAD. I KNOW WHAT THIS COMPANY IS CAPABLE OF .. AND THIS IS JUST BS.
THE TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER FAILED CAUSING THE AUDI INTERFERENCE ENGINE TO BECOME OUT OF SYNC RESULTING IN THE ENGINE BECOMING TOTALED. THIS HAS BECOME A COMMON OCCURRENCE AND IS WIDELY REPORTED ON 2009 AND NEWER MODELS. BELOW IS AN ARTICLE WITH THEIR ASSESSMENT OF THE SITUATION. THE CAR HAD BEEN TAKEN IN 2X FOR MISFIRES AND WAS DIAGNOSED AS AN ISSUE WITH THE SPARK PLUGS, IT IS NOW CLEAR THAT THIS WAS THE TIMING CHAIN BEING OUT OF ALIGNMENT AND MISSED. 2009 AUDI A4 WAS RECALLED FOR OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUES. REBUILT IN MARCH OF 2014. JULY 2015 TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER FAILED CAUSING TIMING CHAIN TO JUMP AND DROP A VALVE. CAR IS NOW SITTING AT AUDI DEALERSHIP WITH AN UNFIXABLE ENGINE. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF EXAMPLES OF THIS PART FAILING AFTER OIL CONSUMPTION REBUILD. THIS AS A DEFECT AND VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE CAR JUST STOPS RUNNING. AUDI WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY DESPITE THE MOUNTING FACTS AGAINST THE PART.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 AUDI A4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE OIL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ADDED OIL TO THE ENGINE AND THE OIL WARNING LIGHT SHUT OFF. THE FAILURE RECURRED AFTER APPROXIMATELY 250 MILES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS BURNING AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF OIL AND THE RINGS AND VALVES OF THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000.
VEHICLE BEGAN TO RUN VERY ROUGH AND STARTED TO SHAKE. PARKED AND STOPPED ENGINE. ON ATTEMPTING TO RESTART IT BRIEFLY FIRED BUT THEN DIED AND STALLED. SUBSEQUENT ATTEMPTS TO START THE VEHICLE RESULTED IN IT TURNING OVER WITH NO APPARENT FIRING. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE AUDI DEALER AND WE WERE INFORMED IT WAS DUE TO TIMING CHAIN SLIP. IT APPEARS FROM INFORMATION ONLINE THAT THE TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER IN THIS 2009 B8 2.0T ENGINE IS DEFECTIVE. THE HEAD AND PISTONS WERE ALL DAMAGED AND THE ENGINE WAS DECLARED UNREPAIRABLE BY THE AUDI DEALER. DEALER CHARGED $1300 FOR INSPECTING THE PISTONS AND WANTS $13,000 FOR A NEW ENGINE. THIS VEHICLE HAD REPLACEMENT PISTON RINGS OUT OF WARRANTY BUT AT NO CHARGE TO US DUE TO THE KNOWN EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE (FOR WHICH THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT). AUDI INCREASED THE ENGINE WARRANTY FROM 4 TO 8 YEARS AS PART OF SETTLEMENT OF THIS CLASS ACTION, BUT ONLY IN RESPECT OF FAILURES RELATED TO THE EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE. AUDI MAINTAINS THAT THIS ISSUE IS UNRELATED BUT THE DEALER SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT ANECDOTALLY SHE'S SEEN SEVERAL SUCH FAILURES AFTER PISTON RING REPLACEMENT (I HAVE THIS INTERACTION RECORDED ON VIDEO). SEARCHING ONLINE SHOWS THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL WEBSITES SELLING REPLACEMENT TIMING CHAIN TENSIONERS TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PART THAT AUDI USES ON THIS ENGINE. AUDI REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE ANY FAULT ON THIS ISSUE. RED LINE SPEEDWORX WEBSITE WHICH SELLS UPGRADE KITS TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PART SAYS THAT TYPICALLY THIS FAILURE OCCURS AT 80K MILES PLUS. SINCE THE STANDARD WARRANTY IS 50K MILES THIS MEANS THAT AUDI VIEWS ITSELF AS NOT LIABLE FOR THESE FAILURES. WE ARE FILING A LAWSUIT AGAINST AUDI OVER THIS ISSUE.

THIS PAST FALL, AUDI REPLACED MY PISTONS AND RINGS DUE TO A FAILED OIL CONSUMPTION TEST. MY CAR WOULD REQUIRE OIL AFTER ABOUT 250 MILES. WITHIN A WEEK OF CHANGING THE OIL AT AUDI I RECEIVED A WARNING LIGHT. AUDI AT THAT TIME DECIDED TO REPLACE MY PISTONS AND RINGS. ON 12/29 WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY MY CAR STARTING RATTLING VERY LOUD AND I WASN'T ABLE TO ACCELERATE. ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CAR STOPPED RUNNING, GRAY SMOKE CAME OUT OF THE REAR TAILPIPE AND MY CAR TURNED OFF. I MANAGED TO GET OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND IT LOOKED AS IF OIL HAS LEAKED ALL OVER THE RIGHT TIRE BY THE PASSENGER SIDE. I HAD THE CAR TOWED BACK TO AUDI FOR SERVICE. THEY ARE NOW TELLING ME IT WILL COST $5000 TO FIX THE CAR. I FEEL THE SINCE THEY LAST WORKED ON THE ENGINE THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE TO MY CAR. *JS
THE COOLANT RESERVOIR WOULD EMPTY RESULTING IN THE COOLANT LIGHT COMING ON. THE CAR WOULDN'T DRIVE PAST AROUND 45MPH. THERE WERE NO VISIBLE LEAKS ON THE GROUND AT THE TIME. THE AUDI DEALERSHIP STATED THEY FOUND AIR IN THE SYSTEM, BUT NO LEAKS. THEY PRESSURE TESTED THE COOLING SYSTEM AND PULLED VACUUM ON COOLING SYSTEM, FOUND BOTH OK. DRAINED ALL COOLANT AND REPLACED WITH NEW COOLANT AND EVACUATED ALL AIR BUBBLES. THEY REPLACED COOLANT RESERVOIR CAP WITH OEM CAP. THEY FOUND THE CAR WORKING TO AUDI STANDARDS. AFTER DRIVING THE CAR A COUPLE DAYS THE PROBLEM RETURNED. THE AUDI DEALERSHIP CHECKED FOR CODES (NOTE THAT THE PREVIOUS INVOICE DIDN'T INDICATE WHETHER THEY CHECKED FOR CODES OR NOT). THEY FOUND CODE FOR COOLANT TEMP SENSOR, TEST DROVE THE CAR, CHECKED TEMP OF COOLANT HOSES & FOUND ONLY TOP RADIATOR HOSE GETTING HOT. THEY REPLACED THE WATER PUMP/COOLANT TEMP SENSOR/THERMOSTAT HOUSING ASSEMBLY (ALL ONE PART). THEY FILLED AND BLED COOLING SYSTEM. THEY TEST DROVE, RECHECKED AND FOUND THE CAR WORKING TO AUDI STANDARDS. (SIDENOTE: WE PAID FOR A REPLACEMENT WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY IN 2013, BUT WE WERE OUTSIDE THE 12,000 MILE WARRANTY ON THAT SERVICE. STILL, THIS PART SHOULDN'T BE SO POORLY DESIGNED TO NEED REPLACEMENT AGAIN SO SOON.) THE PROBLEM RETURNED, BUT THIS TIME THE ENGINE OVERHEATED AND WE HAD TO TOW THE CAR BACK TO THE AUDIT DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE NOW SAYING THE COOLANT ISSUE IS DUE TO A BLOWN HEAD GASKET (BUT WHY DIDN'T THEY FIND THIS BEFORE?). EACH TIME, MY CHILDREN WERE IN THE CAR AND WE COULD'VE BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT DUE TO A SLOWED OR STOPPED VEHICLE. MY TRUST IN AUDI DEALERSHIP'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS COMPLETELY GONE SINCE THEY ARE CONTINUOUSLY CHARGING TO FIX A PROBLEM WITHOUT FIXING THE PROBLEM. I OWN A 2009 AUDI A4 WITH 63,000 MILES. THE AUDI DEALER CHANGE THE PISTONS AND RINGS IN MY VEHICLE DUE TO AN OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEM TWO WEEKS AGO. ON NOVEMBER 4, 2014 MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE CAR IS IDLING UP AND DOWN CONSTANTLY WHEN AT A STAND STILL. RECENTLY DONE OIL CHANGE WITH SYNTHETIC OIL (AUDI RECOMMENDED) WHICH SHOULD LAST FOR 10,000 MILES BEFORE ANOTHER OIL CHANGE IS NEEDED.
