Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)ONE OF THE FOUR ORIGINAL TIRES, PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 ALL SEASON 225 /45 R18 95H XL BSW BM RF, HAD BLOWOUT ON THE INTERNAL WALL WITHIN ONLY 15,000 MILES. THE TIRE BLEW OUT AT REST. NO NOTIFICATION OF FAILURE ON THE MONITORING SYSTEM. NO DAMAGE TO THE TIRE RIM. UNLESS IT STRUCK A POTHOLE NOT FELT WELL DRIVING. THE IS THE SECOND TIRE TO DO THIS ON THE VEHICLE IN THE FIRST YEAR OF OWNERSHIP. SEEMS LIKE THE TIRES FAIL ON THEIR OWN.
THE THREE OF THE FOUR ORIGINAL TIRES, PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 ALL SEASON 225 /45 R18 95H XL BSW BM RF, HAVE HAD BLOWOUTS ON THE INTERNAL WALL WITHIN ONE MONTH AND ONLY 13,000 MILES. I NOTICED THERE IS A RECALL ON THE PIRELLI 19" TIRES. I BELIEVE THIS HAS TO BE A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. THERE WAS NO TRAUMA THAT CAUSED THE BLOWOUTS AND THEY ALL OCCURRED SPONTANEOUSLY.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
