FUEL LEAK IN PASSENGER COMPARTMENT UNDER SEAT. THE PLASTIC CAP COVERING THE FUEL TANK AND PUMP ACCESS HAS A LEAK NEAR BLACK WIRE HARNESS CONNECTOR. SEVERAL OTHERS IN ONLINE FORUMS HAVE DESCRIBED SAME PROBLEM. FUEL POOLS BENEATH RIGHT REAR PASSENGER SEAT. PLASTIC CAP HAS A CRACK ON UNDERSIDE WHICH WHEN PRESSURIZED PUSHES FUEL OUT THE TOP OF THE CAP. DEALERSHIP QUOTED $767.81 FOR NEW FUEL PUMP. THIS IS CLEARLY A SAFETY CONCERN AS FUEL SMELL IS IN PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. THE DEFECT IS ONLY ON THE PLASTIC CAP COVERING THE FUEL TANK ACCESS AND IS SOLD AS PART OF THE FUEL PUMP SYSTEM. THE FUEL POOLS INSIDE THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT
THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND SEAT BELT LIGHT IS ON, I CAN'T GET THEM OFF, AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, THE DASH BOARD HAS BOTH LIGHT ON THE OVER HEAD SEATBELT LIGHT IS ON THAT SAY THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IS OFF AND I NEVER TURN IT OFF CAN I GET SOME HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM, NO ONE SEND ME NOTHING ON A RECALL OF MY VEHICLE.

I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM A DEALER IN VIRGINIA. MAYBE A FEW WEEKS LATER THE AIRBAG WAARNING LIGHT CAME N THE SCREEN. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE IT BECASUE WHEN I WENT TO TAKE IT TO GET LOOKED AT BY A BMW REPAIR PERSON TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THAT SAME ISSUE AND THE DEALER SHOULD NOT HAVE SOLD ME THE CAR WITHOUT TELLING ME THAT INFORMATION. HE THEN TOLD ME IT IS THE ( SEAT OCCUPANCY DETECTOR PASSENGER SIDE AND RESISTENCE TO HIGH FIRING CIRCUIT , BELT TENSIONER PASSENGER SIDE. HE SAID TO CALL BMW SO I DID AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE RECALL REPAIR TIME EXPIRE A YEAR BEFORE I PURCHASED THE CAR . NO ONE EVER SHARED THIS INFORMATION WITH ME AND NOW IT IS NOT SAFE TO HAVE MY KIDS OR HUSBAND IN THE PASSENGER SEAT BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM.. BMW SHOULD HAVE EXTENDED THAT IF IT WAS NEVER DONE WHEN THEY ORIGINALLY SENT OUT THE NOTICE TO WHOM EVER HAD THE VEHICLE BEFORE. IF SOMETHING ISNT DONE FROM THE REALL KNOWING ITS A SAFELTY ISSUE THEN IT SHOULD BE EXTENDED UNTIL REPAIRED. IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND ITS A LARGE BILL FOR ME TO REPAIR SOMETHING THAT WAS ALREADY RECALLED

DRIVERS SEAT SENSOR MAT MALFUNCTION LIGHT CAME ON. WHEN THIS LIGHT IS ON THE AIRBAGS WILL NOT DEPLOY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. I DID RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THIS IS A ON GOING ISSUE ON THIS VEHICLE. PLEASE HELP SAVE LIVES BY AUTHORIZING A RECALL.

"TAKATA RECALL" THE PASSENGER AIR BAGS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING IT POP UP ON MY CLUSTER WHEN I WAS STARTING UP MY VEHICLE FROM HOME. I RECIEVED A RECALL LETTER FROM NHTSA WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE BMW DEALER IT WASNT ON THE SYSTEM SO THEY COULDNT REPLACE MY AIR BAGS FOR THE PASSANGER SIDE
DRIVER SIDE DOOR LOCK ACTUAL OPERATING INCONSISTENT IT WILL NOT GO ALL THE WAY DOWN OR UP WHEN UNLOCKING EVERYTIME. WHEN BUTTON IS PUSH TO LOCK IT CLICK TWICE AND NOT GO ALL THE WAY DOWN OR UP AS STATED BEFORE. I GET A CLICK CLICK AND LOCK DOESN'T MOVE MUCH EITHER WAY. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD THAT I NEED TO DEAL WITH IMMEDIATELY SO IM WRITING TO ASK YOU HAS THERE BEEN A RECALL CONCERNING THIS PROBLEM AS I HAVE READ THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH OTHER BMW OWNERS AS WELL. BLOWS OUT WHILE/BLUISH SMOKE, SHIFTS INTO PARK WHEN IN DRIVE OR REVERSE, WON'T GO FORWARD. TRANSMISSION FAULT LIGHT ON. I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY PUT OIL IN IT. THERE IS NO REASON WHY I SHOULD BE HAVING ALL THESE PROBLEMS, I SEE THAT MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE OR PURCHASED THIS SAME CAR HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. I TRULY BELIEVE BMW NEEDS TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THESE PROBLEMS. IT'S TERRIBLE THAT ONE WOULD PAY SO MANY CH FOR A LUXURY CAR FOR IT TO HAVE ALL THESE PROBLEMS.

BMW HAVE A RECALL ON 2006 BMW 750LI PASSENGER SEAT MAT, THIS DEFECT WILL KEEP THE AIR BAG FROM DEPLOYING DURING AN ACCIDENT. BUT IN MOST BMW, FROM FRIENDS OF MINE THE DRIVER SEAT MAT IS THE ONE THAT DEFECTIVE ON A REGULAR BASES BUT BMW IS AVOIDING THE REPAIR, THIS DEFECT CAN A WILL CAUSE SOMEONE THEIR LIFE. BMW IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2005-2008 7-SERIES VEHICLES, EQUIPPED WITH THE COMFORT ACCESS OPTION. I HAVE CHECKED MY VIN # AND MY 2006 BMW 750LI IS NOT PART OF THIS RECALL, HOWEVER, I HAVE THIS EXACT PROBLEM IN MY CAR AND HAVE HAD THE CAR START TO ROLL ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, AFTER BEING PLACED IN PARK. I MUST NOW USE THE PARKING BRAKE ON A REGULAR BASIS.
AIRBAGS NEVER POPPED OPEN, DOOR HANDLE OPENED AND IS STILL NOT SHUTTING CORRECTLY. SINCE MY CAR WAS PAID IN FULL, I DID NOT CARRY FULL COVERAGE ONLY LIABILITY SO I DID NOT FILE A CLAIM. I PAID THE DAMAGES OUT OF MY OWN POCKET AND JUST THIS WEEK I'VE PAID THE LAST $1200.00 OF THE PART ORDERED FOR LAST OF REPAIRS. IN TOTAL IVE PAID A LITTLE OVER 15,000 OUT OF MY OWN MONEY.

MY SERVICE ADVISER ASKED ME TO LEAVE THE CAR WITH THEM WHICH I DID AND AFTER FEW DAYS THEY CALLED ME TO PICK UP THE CAR WITHOUT FIXING IT UNLESS I PAY FOR PROBABLE CAUSE FOR THE FAULTY LIGHT. THIS VEHICLE HAS BECOME A MONEY EATING ONE. THE PROBLEM STARTED WITH A JOLT. THE CAR WOULD MAKE A JUMPING FORWARD MOVEMENT SIMILAR TO BEEN HIT FROM THE BACK. I TOOK TO SEVERAL MECHANICS INCLUDING BMW DEALER AND MADE SERVER REPAIRS BASE ON RECOMMENDATIONS BUT THE PROBLEM CONTINUES. EVENTUALLY, THE CAR WILL CUT OFF AND SHIFTS FROM DRIVE TO NEUTRAL WHILE DRIVING. I TOOK TO BMW DEALER SEVERAL TIMES BUT THE PROBLEMS WAS NOT IDENTIFIED SO NO SOLUTION WAS POSSIBLE. AT ONE POINT THE ENTIRE SYSTEM DIED AND I WAS TOLD BY A MECHANIC THAT I NEEDED A NEW ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY - THIS DID NOT STOP THE PROBLEM. EVENTUALLY, I WAS TOLD BY THE BMW DEALER THAT I NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION. I TOOK TO LOCAL TRANSMISSION PERSON WHO INSTALLED A REBUILT TRANSMISSION. THE CAR WAS OK FOR A FEW DAYS THEN ANOTHER PROBLEM OCCURS. WHEN IN PARKING POSITION THE LEVEL DOES NOT GO TO P IT SHIFTS TO N - AGAIN! AFTER I SPENT SO MUCH MONEY. I WAS TOLD BY THE MECHANIC THAT THE CAR IS ACTUALLY IN PARK BUT HE HAS NO IDEA WHY THE COMPUTER IS NOT DOING THE RIGHT THING. I AM GOING CRAZY WITH THIS SITUATION AND WISH BMW WOULD DO SOMETHING BECAUSE THEIR CARS ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE BUT INSTEAD OF GETTING THE VALUE I ENDED UP GETTING A MONEY EATING VEHICLE.

I TOOK MY CAR TO THE BMW DEALERSHIP IN 2012 BECAUSE I NOTICED OIL IN MY GARAGE. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO OIL LEAK AND NOTHING WAS WRONG. I REPORTED IN 2013 THAT THE 'ADD OIL' INDICATOR WAS COMING ON LESS THAN 2,000 MILES AFTER AN OIL CHANGE AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING FOUND THAT NEED SERVICING. IN 2014 I TOOK MY CAR BACK BECAUSE MY OIL INDICATOR STATED I NEEDED TO ADD OIL AND I WAS TOLD I HAD AN OIL GASKET ISSUE THAT WOULD COST $11,000 TO CORRECT. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES WHILE IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND WAS NEVER TOLD OF ANY PROBLEM UNTIL AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED. THE SAME IS TRUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION; I HAD MY CAR SERVICED WHILE UNDER WARRANTY BUT WASN'T TOLD OF A TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTION UNTIL THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED. I HAVE TO ADD OIL EVERY 3 TO 4 WEEKS AND MY OVERDRIVE IS NOT FUNCTIONAL. NOW I AM EXPERIENCING A PROBLEM WITH THE DRIVERS DOOR; IT WON'T CLOSE AT ALL BUT I WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST FOR THE DOOR MALFUNCTION.
