When the driver seat is moved the service air bag light comes on. When you move the seat again the light goes off.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, THE LOCKS ON THE DOORS WILL SUDDENLY LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK AND UNLOCK. AFTER THAT THE ENGINE SLOWS WAY DOWN LOSING POWER, THEN IT WILL BE OKAY TO GIVE IT MORE GAS AND IT SPEEDS UP. THE LAST COUPLE OF TIMES THIS HAPPENED, THE CAR LOST ALL POWER AND STAHLED.
The contact owns a 2010 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle suddenly shut off. The contact stated that the ECM warning light had remained illuminated. Additionally, there was a burning odor inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who discovered water and mold under the carpet and electrical components submerged in the water. The cause of the failure was not yet determined, and the vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 144,000.
THE CAR SHUT OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT, I WAS STARTING TO GO FROM SITTING AT A RED LIGHT AND IT JUST SHUT ITSELF OFF! I'VE JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR AND ALREADY IT'S A HUNK OF JUNK. ALSO THE AMOUNT OF ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS CAUSED BY WATER ENTERING THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT IS RIDICULOUS AND SHOULD BE A RECALL AS IT'S JUST A BAD DESIGN. THE AC FAN MOTOR LOCATED ABOVE THE PASSENGER FLOOR FILLS WITH WATER AND RUINS THE MOTOR. THE CAR SHUT OFF TODAY BECAUSE OF SHODDY SOLDERING.

WHO DIAGNOSED THAT AN ELECTRICAL SHORTAGE TO THE AUDIO AMPLIFIER HAD OCCURRED DUE TO THE WATER LEAKING INTO THE PANELS OF THE VEHICLE AND BEHIND THE FIRE WALL. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 168,000.
WATER IS GETTING TO THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OF THE AMPLIFIERS (BOSE SYSTEM) AND SHORTING THEM OUT. THAT MEANS THERE IS NO SOUND WHAT SO EVER INSIDE THE VEHICLE. NO BLINKERS, HAZARDS, RADIO OR IF THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON YOU WON'T HEAR IT, ONLY A VISIBLE ICON. THIS IS AN ISSUE NOT ONLY IN THE ENCLAVE, BUT THE ACADIA AS WELL AS THE SATURN OUTLOOK. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL A LONG TIME AGO. I REFUSE TO PAY FOR THIS WHEN IT'S AN ISSUE ACROSS THE BOARD.
HVAC TEMPERATURE DOES NOT WORK ON PASSENGER SIDE; RIGHT SIDE TEMPERATURE MODE DOOR ACTUATOR HAS FAILED. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IT HAS HAPPENED. 2013 AND NOW 2018.

WHAT WAS HAPPENING WAS THE CAR WOULD JUST START DOWNSHIFTING BY ITSELF, SPEED WAS DRASTICALLY REDUCED. IT DIDN'T MATTER HOW FAST OR SLOW I WAS GOING BUT IT DID HAPPEN ON THE EXPRESSWAY AND I WENT FROM 65MPH TO 40 MPH IN A MATTER OF SECONDS. HAD BEEN HAPPENING FOR A YEAR AND HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER 5 TIMES, THIS LAST TIME THEY HAD IT FOR 7 WEEKS AND REQUIRED GM TECH CENTER SUPPORT TO FINALLY GET IT FIXED. THIS WAS NOT ONLY A SAFETY ISSUE BUT ALSO A FIRE HAZARD. FOLLOWING IS THE FIX: NEC TO CHECK OTHER DATA CIRCUITS THAT MIGHT BACK FEED INTO HIGH SPEED CIRCUIT. FOUND CIRCUIT #6060 BACK FEEDING IN TO CIRCUIT 2500 CAUSING ITERMITTENT COMMUNICATION LOSS. FOUND CIRCUIT OVERLOAD AT CONTACT POINT G110. WAS SERVING AS A CONTACT POINT FOR NINE CIRCUITS AND OVERHEATING, CAUSING HIGH RESISTANCE AND LOSS OF DATA COMMUNICATION AT TIMES. NECESSARY TO SEPARATE INTO 2 CONTACT POINTS TO REDUCE LOAD AND PREVENT OVERHEATING AND HIGH RESISTANCE THAT WAS CAUSING DATA CIRCUIT BACKFEEDING AND DATA LOSS. THEY SHOWED ME THE CIRCUIT WITH THE 9 WIRES THAT THEY REMOVED AND IT WAS ALL MELTED AND BURNT. NOT ONLY DID THE DRASTIC AND SUDDEN REDUCTION OF POWER CREATE A VERY UNSAFE SITUATION THE OVERHEATING OF THE CIRCUIT, BURNING AND MELTING OF WIRES CREATED A HUGE FIRE POTENTIAL.
VEHICLE STAYS RUNNING AFTER IGNITION KEY IS TURNED OFF AND REMOVED. BRAKE PEDAL MAKES A SQUEAKING SOUND WHEN DEPRESSED.

THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE GROUND WIRES FROM THE 02 SENSOR HAD SHORTENED OUT. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXHIBITED PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION FAILING TO SHIFT OUT OF THIRD GEAR, THE STEERING GEAR WAS LEAKING, THE REAR BRAKE PAD AND SPRINGS HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THE ENGINE LIGHT CONTINUOUSLY STAYED ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 35,000.

ALSO, THE ABS WARNING INDICATOR FLASHED AND VARIOUS WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER MORE THAN FIVE TIMES, BUT COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE NUMEROUS TIMES FOR YEARS AND PROVIDED NO REPAIR SOLUTION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE BUTTONS ON MY UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM ON MY 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE ARE NOT ILLUMINATED WITH LED LIGHTS, THUS MAKING THEM NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE IN THE DARK, SO THAT I CAN OPEN OR CLOSE MY GARAGE DOOR. PRIOR TO 2010 THE UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM VENDOR FOR GENERAL MOTORS WAS WWW.HOMELINK.COM, AND THEIR CONTROL BUTTONS WERE ILLUMINATED WITH LED LIGHTS, WHICH MADE THEM REAL EASY TO SEE. THEN IN 2010/2011 GENERAL MOTORS CHANGED VENDORS TO WWW.LEARCAR2U.COM/ PROGRAM, AND THE THREE BUTTONS ON MY UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM ARE NO LONGER ILLUMINATED, MAKING THEM NOT ONLY EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND BUT I CONSIDER THEM A SAFETY HAZARD. I'M SO CONCERNED, THAT I HAVE DISCONTINUED USING MY UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM AND GONE BACK TO MY OLD GARAGE DOOR OPENER. GENERAL MOTORS PROBABLY SAVED A FEW BUCKS ON EACH UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THEY CREATED A REAL HAZARD. I SURELY WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR INVESTIGATING THIS HAZARDOUS SHORT COMING. SPEED IN SPEEDO IMPOSSIBLE TO READ DAY OR NIGHT. SPEEDO CURRENTLY IN KILOMETERS AND WE TRAVEL ALOT IN THE USA MPG ARE SHOWN IN THE SPEEDO BUT BECAUSE OF LIGHTING AND VERY FAINT PRINT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ THE MPH SPEED.
