I was notified of the Takata recall in either May or June of 2023. I was told that the remedy was not yet available. I have been calling the dealership repeatedly. I called again today but was told that they need to order parts to complete my recall and that there hadn't been a fix or parts available to conduct the recall until February of 2024. Given the age and mileage (over 142,000 miles) I am very concerned about the recall not having been performed on my vehicle.

My husband and I got this vehicle from a used dealership, which they did not tell my husband it had a recall on it before we got it or we never would have gotten it, on March 2,2024. I found out about the driver side airbag recall on March 21, 2024. I called GM dealership about the recall the same day I found out about it, and they ordered the part and told me they would call when the part came in. They called me back and we made the appointment to get the recall fixed on April 11,2024. On April 11,2024 I took our vehicle up to the gm dealership and got told that my vehicle recall wasn’t available yet, the recall was released for my vehicle in May of 2023. The lady that told me the recall wasn’t available yet said to call back on May 10, 2024. When I did they told me it still wasn’t available for our vehicle. I double checked the website on June 10, 2024, and it said there was no remedy available. Due to the driver side airbag being recalled and a big safety concern and I’ve got multiple children that ride in the vehicle as well and do NOT have another vehicle that will fit our whole family in it, I don’t really want to drive it around so nobody gets seriously injured if we were to get in a wreck, and I don’t want to put anyone else in danger by driving it around. I feel like it’s not being taken care of in a timely manner and the only reason I say that is because of the type of recall it has. I feel like the dealership doesn’t care about the safety of their customers. The dealership I took it to the people there were nice about everything so there wasn’t any issues there, it’s purely the fact that they don’t seem to know when the recall will be available, and don’t seem to be in any hurry either.

Blind spot is extremely large between the front windshield and side windows, because of the enlarged side view mirror housing. Entire vehicles and people can dissappear into these spots rendering them invisible to proceeding motorist.

I contacted GM and they referred me to file an online complaint with you. We are part of the airbag recall on our 2014 Buick Enclave that can result in serious injury or death. It's now been almost a year since we were notified and there has been no follow up communication or a timeline for which this will be fixed, which is completely unacceptable. This is our teenage daughter's car and we do not feel comfortable with her driving it. We cannot sell the car because no one wants it and we cannot afford another car. The lack of communication from GM is frustrating. I would like someone to communicate what the realistic timeline is for the airbag to be replaced. We even offered to replace it out of our own pocket or just have it removed, which they will not do.

My Vehicle stalls for no reason. The engine power is redused, stabilitrack, and traction control lights come on. The vehicle stalls in the middle of traffic. The brake and steertng wheel don't work when the engine stalls. The seatbelt and airbag light comes on. I went to get that repaired and the dealer told me that the repair time period had expired.
Engine reduced, traction control, and stabilitytrak lights came on 11/3/2023. Car died on me while I was sitting in traffic. Took car to Firestone on 11/9. They stated car needed oil change and tune up. On 11/17/2023 while in the line at a drive through lights came on again and car died in drive thru. Car was towed back to Firestone. Firestone said it was pulling codes they didn't know and the car needed to go a Buick dealer. Towed car to Bob Brown Buick on 11/24/2023 Bob brown said car just needed a battery. After one hour the car lights popped on again and car died in the middle of the street. Towed car back to Bob brown another diagnosis was completed and was told I needed a catalyst converter. Towed car to Midas and paid another diagnosis. Midas fixed 3 gaskets and sensors. Car died again driving down the street going 35mph almost causing an accident. This electrical problem is very dangerous and unsafe.

Recieved letter in mail to schedule to airbag recall. I scheduled to have recall replaced. The dealership told me it was available. After leaving vehicle. Dealership advised they don't have the part. They don't know when the part will be available. They part hasnt been available for a year. I advised them. This a an accident waiting to happen. I'm driving a vehicle and the airbag is defected. Myself and kids can be injured at anytime. They had no answer because they don't know when the part will be available. I believe this is uncalled for. The vehicle is paid off and it's in excellent condition.
I called Integrity Buick of Chattanooga TN and asked about replacing the recalled airbag and was told there is no remedy and could not fix. Can the airbag not be replaced? This recall sounds dangerous and I am very concerned. What should I do about this - can this problem not be corrected? Do I have to wait until there is a fatal incident? On high power down only to 30 mph on highway. Cars hard to brake and swirl, causing rear end and sideswipe.
