STARTING ON SUNDAY I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND MY CAR SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. THE POWER STEERING LIGHT FLASHED AND THEN THE SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT AS WELL. I PULLED OVER, STOPPED COMPLETELY, AND TURNED MY CAR BACK ON AND TOOK THE BACK ROADS HOME. AFTER TURNING THE CAR BACK ON THE WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DISPLAY WERE GONE. THE NEXT DAY I WAS ON A DIFFERENT HIGHWAY AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED EXCEPT WHEN I TURNED MY CAR BACK ON THE SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT STAYED ON UNTIL I RETURNED HOME. I HAD THE RECALL ON THE IGNITION SWITCH REPLACED LAST YEAR. *TR
I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK AND MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I WENT TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST DONE ON IT AND THE REASON FOR THE LIGHT COMING ON WAS BECAUSE MY THROTTLE BODY SENSOR HAD GONE OUT. AFTER THE LIGHT CAME ON MY GAS PEDDLE WAS TOUCHY. I COULD BARELY PUSH IT AND IT WOULD TAKE OFF VERY FAST, THEN I COULD PUSH IT AND IT WOULD TAKE OFF VERY SLOW. *TR
THIS IS ABOUT THE FOURTH TIME MY 2006 CHEVROLET COBALT DRIVER SIDE DOOR HAS BEEN STUCK SHUT. PREVIOUSLY, RESTARTING THE BATTERY FIXED THE PROBLEM BUT NOW THE ISSUE APPEARS TO BE MECHANICAL. IT'S ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT I HAVE TO CLIMB OUT OF MY PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WITH A FRACTURED SPINE BECAUSE CHEVROLET AND GMC CANNOT ENGINEER A DOOR PROPERLY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET COBALT. THE CONTACT STATED AFTER TURNING OFF THE VEHICLE, THE KEY BECAME STUCK IN THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE KEY REMAINED IN THE IGNITION SWITCH UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN BECAUSE IT FAILED TO RELEASE AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION WHILE DRIVING, THE TRACTION CONTROL AND ENGINE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY WITH A REDUCTION IN THE ENGINE POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER AND CURRENTLY BEING DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V171000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE REMEDY DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET COBALT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND THE MECHANIC DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS FUEL LEAKING NEAR THE EXHAUST SYSTEM. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 09V419000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 114,694.
GAS MODULATOR FAILED TWICE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET COBALT. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE, POWER STEERING ASSIST, CHECK FUEL CAP, AND SERVICE ENGINE SOON WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE VEHICLE WAS DIFFICULT TO START AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION MODULE FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
FUEL PUMP IS LEAKING FUEL LOOKING UP RECALL ON MY 2006 CHEVY COBALT AND FOUND THEY ACCEPT RECALLS FOR THE FUEL PUMP MODULAR LEAKING FUEL BUT NOT ACCEPTED IN MY STATE OF KS MY VIN NUMBER FALLS INBETWEEN THE NUMBERS ARE BEING RECALLED THE SMELL OF FUEL IS OVERWHELMING AND I CANNOT AFFORD TO FIX THIS ISSUE. *TR
I TOOK MY CAR TO A REPAIR SHOP AFTER HEARING A STRANGE NOISE WHILE DRIVING TO WORK. AFTER AN ANALYSIS, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE HAD NO OIL IN IT AND THE NOISE I WAS HEARING WAS CALLED "ENGINE KNOCK." I WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE WAS COMPLETELY SHOT DUE TO LACK OF OIL. MY OIL LIGHT ON MY DASH NEVER CAME ON TO ALERT ME OF ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY OIL. WHEN I START MY CAR, THE OIL LIGHT ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER EMERGENCY LIGHTS (I.E. TRACTION CONTROL, CHECK ENGINE...) LIGHT UP AS USUAL AND THEN GO OFF, SO I KNOW THE ACTUAL LIGHT WORKS BUT I THINK THERE MAY BE A SENSOR ISSUE. *TR
THE FUEL LINE IS LEAKING AS SPECIFIED IN THE RECALL OF CERTAIN VIN SPECIFIC COBALTS. YET, I HAVE NOTICED A NUMBER OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM THAT, LIKE MY COBALT, WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE VIN SPECIFIC RECALL. ..UPDATED 02/24/15*BF UPDATED 4/5/16/2016 *JS
I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK ON THE HIGHWAY. WHEN IT SUDDENLY BECAME DIFFICULT TO MAKE A LANE CHANGE. I EXITED THE HIGHWAY AND IT BECAME CLEAR THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY STEERING. AFTER GETTING HOME SAFELY I FOUND OUT ABOUT OTHER GM OWNERS ISSUES WITH THE ELECTRICAL POWER STEERING AND WONDERED WHY A RECALL WAS NEVER ISSUES FOR MY VEHICLE. *TR
THE IGNITION SWITCH LOCKS UP AFTER I HAVE PUT MY VEHICLE IN PARK. I THEN HAVE TO START MY CAR AGAIN, FOOT ON BRAKE, MOVE MY SHIFTER TO NEUTRAL, BACK TO PARK AND HOPEFULLY IM ABLE TO TURN THE KEY TO OFF. THE STEERING IS A PAIN AT TIMES TO DEAL WITH. ESPECIALLY AT SLOW SPEEDS IT JERKS SPORADICALLY. ALSO IM NOT SURE IF THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN RECALLED BUT I'VE READ MANY FORUMS OF THE AC LEAKING ON THE PASSENGERS FLOOR LEAVING PUDDLES OF WATER. MY CAR DOES THIS, THROUGH CAR WASHES AND WHEN IT RAINS. I'VE ALSO NOTICED THAT YOU CAN HEAR THE REMAINING WATER FLOW LEFT BEHIND IN THE DASHBOARD. I ONLY HAD THIS CAR SINCE NOVEMBER 2014 AND HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS. IF POSSIBLE, CAN ALL RECALL REPAIRS BE PERFORMED ON MY CAR TO PREVENT ANY ISSUE IN THE FUTURE? *TR
2006 CHEVROLET COBALT WROTE GENERAL MOTORS ABOUT FIVE MONTHS AGO WHEN THE VEHICLE STOPPED RUNNING. *MW THE CONSUMER HAD DIFFICULTY STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE WINDOW FELL INTO THE DOOR, THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND THERE WAS A LEAK COMING FROM THE AC.*JB

WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED, THE POWER STEERING MESSAGE WOULD DISPLAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING GEAR BOX WAS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 141,000.
WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT 65MPH AND CAR SHUT OFF WITH NO WARNING AND READING ENGINE DISABLED. PULLED OVER TURNED IT OFF AND BACK ON THE SAME THING HAPPENED 5 MINUTES LATER. *TR
THE POWER STEERING HAS GONE OUT AGAIN. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS RECALLED IN 2011. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET COBALT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I HAVE BEEN HAVING AN ISSUE WITH A STRONG FUEL SMELL AND WITNESSED A LARGE PUDDLE OF GAS LEAKING UNDER THE CAR. LOOKING UNDER THE CAR I FOUND CORRODED FUEL LINES ON A PLASTIC CHASSIS BRACKET. SINCE THE LINES COME FROM THE PUMP RUNNING FORWARD UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE, THIS IS A REAL FIRE HAZARD. THE FUEL LINES ARE ONLY A FEW INCHES FROM THE EXHAUST PIPE. UPON IGNITION THIS COULD IGNITE A FIRE. SEVERAL ONLINE COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO RECALL FORUMS MENTIONING THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE COBALT MODEL.IN THE PASSED THEIR HAS BEEN A RECALL, BUT ONLY FOR THE FUEL PUMP,NOT INCLUDING THE FUEL LINES. ALSO, MANY INCLUDING MYSELF HAVE WENT TO THE CHEVROLET DEAL TO GET THIS PROBLEM SOLVED. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY REFUSE TO FIX ANY UNLESS I PAY $600 OR MORE FOR THE FUEL LINES.THE FUEL LINES ARE NOT EVEN INCLUDED INTO ANY WARRANTY, YET THE FUEL PUMP IS. SINCE THERE HAS BEEN A MAJOR ISSUE WITH THIS LIFE THREATENING ISSUE, THE MATERIALS ARE OBVIOUSLY PROBLEMATIC AND NEED TO BE RECALLED OR REVISED. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 147,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE AUTOMOBILE WENT IN FOR AN INSPECTION AND IT WAS FOUND THAT BOTH FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED WHICH HAD ALSO AFFECTED THE BRAKES, ROTORS AND THE TWO FRONT TIRES ALSO BEING REPLACED. I HAVE HAD CARS WITH OVER TWO TIMES MORE MILEAGE AND HAD NO PROBLEMS LIKE THIS. DOING A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET THIS SEEMS TO BE A WIDE SPREAD PROBLEM, ONE THAT IT SEEMS GM IS IGNORING. WHICH RESULTED IN A $1,300.00 REPAIR BILL.. *TR

I WAS STOPPED AT A STOPLIGHT. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN I PUT MY FOOT ON THE GAS PEDAL AND THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. AS MY FOOT LEFT THE BRAKE PEDAL IT STILL DID NOT MOVE. WHILE STILL ON THE HIGHWAY, I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON. ONCE I TURNED IT BACK ON, THE CAR WAS ABLE TO MOVE AS NORMAL. THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY, THE SAME THING HAPPENED (I WAS STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN AND COULD NOT ACCELERATE AFTERSTOPPING.) THIS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES (I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND ON MULTIPLE TIMES) AND FINALLY, AS I WAS DRIVING NORMALLY AGAIN WITH MY FOOT ON THE ACCELERATOR, THE CAR SLOWED DOWN ON ITS OWN AND CAME TO A STOP ON ITS OWN, AS MY FOOT WAS STILL ON THE ACCELERATOR. *TR

I HAVE A GAS LEAK UNDER THE CAR WHEREVTHA GAS TANK IS. I HAVE HAD THIS LEAK FOR AWHILE. WANTED TO KNOW WHEN THE RECALL WILL HIT GEORGIA SO I CAN HAVE IT FIXED. IT SMELLS LIKE GAS AT ALL TIMES. ALMOST TO THE POINT OF MAKING YOU SICK. THEY HAVE A RECALL FOR THIS IN OTHER STATES. WANT TO KNOW WHEN IT WILL HIT GEORGIA.

THE POWER STEERING WAS DISPLAYED ACROSS THE MESSAGE BOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT PREVIOUSLY NOTICED A FUEL ODOR AND FUEL LEAKING UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP MODULATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND THE CAR IMMEDIATELY LOST POWER STEERING . I HEARD A CHIMING SOUND AND SAW THE POWER STEERING FLASHING ON THE DASH .THE STEERING WHEEL WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN AND WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THE CAR BACK IN THE DRIVEWAY. *TR

MY WIFE WAS DRIVING HER CAR A 2006 CHEVY COBALT LS ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE DASH BOARD LIGHTS TURNED ON AS IF IT WAS BEING TURNED ON FROM A COLD START. THE CAR STARTED TO BUCKLE IN THE MESSAGE BOARD STARTED TO SAY POWER STEERING. SHE LOST POWER STEERING AND HAD TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY STOP. I CHECKED THE CAR THAT AFTERNOON AND NOTHING SEEMED FINE THEN ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON IT DID THE SAME THING TO ME. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC TO BE SCANNED AND THE CODE U0073 POPPED UP WHICH IS THE CONTROL MODULE BUS ( COMMUNICATION BUSS WAS OFF). WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND GOING OVER BUMPS, THERE IS A CLUNKING NOISE FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. OVERALL, THE STEERING COLUMN APPEARS LOOSE, THE STEERING WHEEL IS HARD TO TURN LEFT OR RIGHT AND CLUNKS AS WELL. TOOK IT TO TWO DIFFERENT ASE CERTIFIED MECHANICS AND WAS TOLD THAT THE STEERING IS LOOSE INSIDE THE COLUMN ITSELF. STEERING IS NOT RESPONSIVE TO TURNS AS IT SHOULD BE. *TR
I ATTEMPTED TO GET MY CHEVY COBALT REPAIRED FOR THE RECALLED IGNITION PARTS AND HAD MY APPT. CANCEL BECAUSE NO PARTS. I CALLED THE DEALER ON 12/02/2014, AFTER THE DATE THEY SAID THEY WOULD GET IT REPAIRED. THE SERVICE ADVISOR FOR THE DEALER TOLD ME THEY WERE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER A MONTH FOR PARTS, AND BECAUSE OF THE DELAY THEY HAD BEEN PURCHASING "REBUILD KITS" AND "FIXING AND REUSING THE RECALLED" PARTS. I CONTACTED GM AND THE REGIONAL MANAGER LAUGHED AT ME AND TOLD ME HE NEW THE MANAGER AND HE WAS A GOOD GUY AND THIS COULDN'T HAPPEN. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH GM EXECUTIVES AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THEY REVIEWED THAT PARTS SYSTEM AND THERE IS NO REBUILD KIT. *TR
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME, AFTER THE STEERING COLUMN AND IGNITION SWITCH HAVE BEEN REPLACED AFTER I BOUGHT IT IN 2010, THAT I INSERTED THE KEY INTO THE IGNITION AND TURNING THE KEY TO THE START POSITION IT DOES NOTHING. THE KEY THEN CAN NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION CAUSING THE CAR TO STAY IN THE "ON" POSITION AND RUNNING THE BATTERY DOWN. I BELIEVE THIS IS AN AFTERMARKET IGNITION ISSUE BECAUSE IT WAS REPLACED BY CARMAX UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY THE FIRST TIME AND NOW IT IS DOING IT AGAIN! *TR
WAS OUT SHOPPING CAME BACK TO MY CAR AND IT WOULDN'T CRANK AND THE ANTI-THEFT LOCK LIGHT WAS ON. HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE ECM. WENT TO GET AN SECOND OPINION AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE FUSE BOX, THEN DAYS LATER I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE BCM. THEN HOURS LATER I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE BCM AND ECM. THESE CARS ARE VERY FAULTY CARS AND HAVE WAY TOO MANY ISSUES. IT JERKS AND CRANK WHEN IT WANT TO. THEN IT STARTED STALLING A LOT AND THEN TAKE OFF AT A HIGH SPEED OUT OF NOWHERE. 2006 CHEVROLET COBALT. CUSTOMER GOT CAR FIXED BECAUSE OF GAS LEAK BUT CONSUMER PAID FOR PARTS AND LABOR AND WANTS MONEY BACK. *TA AFTER HAVING THE LOWER CONTROL ARM REPLACED, IT WAS NOTED ON THE INVOICE, THE VEHICLE HAD A GAS LEAK. THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, WHERE THE GAS LINE HAD TO BE ORDERED, BECAUSE IT HAD RUSTED. THE CONSUMER STATED AFTER WAITING WEEKS, THE PARTS STILL HAD NOT ARRIVED. *JB
WHILE LEAVING FROM A PARKING LOT MY POWER STEERING GAVE OUT. IT IS ELECTRICAL AND AFFECTS THE REST OF THE ELECTRICAL IN THE CAR. TRANSMISSION FEELS AFFECTED AS WELL. WHEN CHANGING GEARS THE ENGINE WILL DROP DRASTICALLY CREATING A CHANGE IN MOMENTUM AND SENDING THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER FORWARD. I HAVE BEEN CALLING SUTLIFF CHEVY IN HARRISBURG PA A NUMEROUS NUMBER OF TIMES. SINCE THEY REPLACED MY KEY SYSTEM THE CAR NOW JUST SHUTS OFF HALF THE TIME AND THE OTHER HALF THE AUTO LIGHTS WILL NOT SHUT OFF CAUSING THE BATTERY TO DIE AND LEAVING ME STUCK. WHEN I CALL THE SERVICE DEPT THEY BLOW ME OFF , I HAVE TO LEAVE MESSAGES AND DON'T GET A RETURN CALL. I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR SINCE I BOUGHT IT NEW AND ONE RECALL AND THE CAR IS A PIECE OF CRAP AND SO IT THE ASSISTANCE I AM GETTING. AS I WAS DRIVING, THE MESSAGE CENTER DISPLAYED POWER STEERING. IT BECAME DIFFICULT TO STEER. THIS IS A RECALL THAT HAS BEEN CLOSED AND I BELIEVE THAT IT SHOULD BE OPENED AGAIN TO CUSTOMERS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE GM ASSIST WITH THIS ISSUE. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET COBALT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL ON THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO INFORMED THAT THE FUEL LINES HAD BEEN PREMATURELY CORRODED. THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY AND A KIT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 09V419000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) AND 12V459000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.
OUR 2006 CHEVY COBALT VIN WAS TOOK IN FOR REPAIR IN NOV 2013, WE WERE TOLD WE NEEDED A STARTER BUT NEVER WHY, IT WAS BECAUSE THERE WAS A GAS LEAK,WE FOUND OUT IN AUG 2014 WHEN IT CAUGHT ON FIRE. AGAIN OCT 2014 THE AUTO DID THE SAME THING WE WERE TOLD THE REST OF THE RECALL PARTS WERE IN AND TO BRING IT IN, ALL THE TIME WE WERE DRIVING A UNSAFE CAR ND WAS NEVER TOLD. WE TOOK THE CAR IN NOV 2014 WITH ONLY THE BATTERY LIGHT ON A NEW BATTERY (LESS THAN 48 HRS OLD AND THE 3RD ONE IN A YEAR). WHEN GOT THE CAR BACK THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON, THE POWER STEERING LIGHT WAS ON AND THE T/C LIGHTS WERE ON THE SPEED ODOMETER NOR GAS HAND WORKS, NOR A/C AND HEAT, BUT THEY REPLACED THE FUSE WHEN WE TOOK IT BACK. THE CAR WILL NOT CHANGE GEARS AND IS REALLY LOUD. THEY HAS US TO BRING IT BACK AND DID NOT AGAIN DO A DIAGNOSTIC TEST JUST SAY IN HIS OPINION THE AUTO NEEDS A NEW POWER STEERING MONITOR (POWER STEERING AFTER RECALL REPLACEMENT WENT OUT, DRIVES SLUGGISH LIKE IT IS GOING TO STOP IN TRAFFIC LIKE IT DID BEFORE THE RECALLS BUT WORSE. IT IS AS LOUD AS A 5TH WHEELER TRUCK, THEREFORE IT IS HARD TO HEARD EMERGENCY VEHICLES. NONE OF THESE SAFETY MATTER OR ISSUES WERE OCCURRING BEFORE THE RECALL PARTS WERE PUT ON. THE CAR WOULD STOP BUT WOULD START UP AND DRIVE HOWEVER IT HAD NONE OF THE PROBLEMS. THE AUTO WE ARE TOLD IF WE DRIVE LESS THAN 15 MPH WILL BE UNCONTROLLABLE. WE CANNOT CONTROL THE SPEED NOW THEREFORE IT NOW DRIVES AT THE SLUGGISH GEAR. WE ARE SENIORS AND ARE AFRAID OF THE CAR. WE DID NOT KNOW THE DANGER OF RECALL BECAUSE THE CARDS ONLY STATED THE NAME OF THE PART. THE CAR AS I PREVIOUSLY STATED WOULD DRIVE BUT IN NO WAY HAS THESE PROBLEMS. THE STARTER PUT ON LAST YEAR IS AM EXAMPLE OF THE SAFETY ISSUES THAT ARE HIDDEN FROM US THEY REPLACED THE STARTER WE PAID FOR IT AND NEVER TOLD US IT WAS CAUSE BY A RECALL GAS LEAK UNTIL IT HAPPEN AGAIN IN AUG 2013. I SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT THIS TIME AND THE LAST TIME AND THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN RECALL ISSUES. *TR
