Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)WHILE PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. AS I WAS PUTTING THE GEAR SHIFT INTO PARK THE TRUCK LUNGED FORWARD HITTING A CONCRETE POST AND BUILDING. AIR BAGS DEPLOYED CAUSING INJURY TO DRIVER ON BOTH ARMS AND STOMACH. TRUCK IS TO BE REPAIRED AS THERE IS FRONT END DAMAGE FROM CRASH.
I BOUGHT A 2004 CHEVROLET COLORADO, WHICH HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE REVVING UP IN PARK TO ABOUT 2500 RPMS WHEN AT A NORMAL TEMPERATURE. IT WILL THEN COME DOWN TO A NORMAL RPMS, AND START IDLING VERY ROUGH. THIS PROBLEM HAS CAUSED MY TRUCK TO BE IN THE SHOP 4 TIMES ALREADY AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO SOLVE IT. THE SECOND TIME IT WENT IN THEY, THE CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP, CHANGED OUT THE MANIFOLD AND CATALYTIC CONVERTOR, BUT SINCE THEN NOTHING ELSE CAN BE DONE AND NOW THE PROBLEM IS HAPPENING WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN DRIVE AND IT CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO LUNGE FORWARD. *AK
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
