THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT FOUR OUT OF SIX STUDS BECAME DETACHED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE DEALER DID NOT REPLACE THE SIXTH STUD. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND CAUSED THE TIRE AND THE RIM TO DETACH FROM THE REAR OF THE DRIVER SIDE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.

HE MOVED OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND ASSUMED HE HAD A FLAT TIRE. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED TWO BLOWOUTS IN THE SIDEWALL OF THE TIRES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THEY WOULD INVESTIGATE THE TIRES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
