WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AROUND 70MPH, THE RADIO AND DASH LIGHTS FLICKERED ON AND OFF, AND THE SERVICE STABILITRAK LIGHT CAME ON THE DASH. IT APPEARS TO BE THE SAME ISSUE AS SB-10057574-8899.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE KEY FOB FELL OUT OF THE IGNITION SWITCH AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SHUT OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CHAMPION CHEVROLET OF AVON (183 S COUNTY RD 525 E, AVON, IN 46123, 317-350-1023) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE KEY FOB WAS FRACTURED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,872.
WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, OR TURNING THERE WAS A SLIGHT GLITCH OR HESITATION IN STEERING.
MY HUSBAND WAS TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 50 M.P.H. HE WAS LOOKING IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR. WHEN HE LOOKED AHEAD, THE SUV IN FRONT OF HIM WAS STOPPED FOR THE VEHICLE AHEAD TO TURN. BY THE TIME HE SAW THE SUV WAS STOPPED, THERE WAS ABOUT 10-15 FEET BETWEEN OUR CAR AND THE SUV. HE BRAKED AND TRIED TO SWERVE TO THE SIDE TO MISS THE SUV BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. HE SLAMMED INTO THE REAR OF THE SUV. THE SUV SUFFERED MINOR DAMAGE. OUR VEHICLE SUFFERED SIGNIFICANT FRONT END DAMAGE AND WAS LATER TOTALED. NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED IN OUR CAR.
A FEW WEEKS AGO MY COUSIN NOTICED A FUEL SMELL IN MY CAR AND I WENT TO GET IT CHECKED OUT AND THERE WAS A PIN HOLE IN MY FUEL LINE WHERE FUEL WAS LEAKING OUT OF.
WHEN I FILL MY CAR UP WITH FUEL, IT WILL NOT START. IT ACTS AS IF IT IS FLOODED.
THE DASH SHOW AIR BAG
THE CAR JUST CLICKS AND WILL NOT START AND MAYBE 10 MINS LATER IT WILL START. DEALER SAY ELETRIAL IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND THE RECALL FOR THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE IS NOT UNDER MY VIN EVEN THOUGH ALL THE OTHER 2011 TO 2015 CHEVY CRUZES ARE. ALSO 3 WEEKS AGO THE DASH WENT CRAZY AND STABLE CONTROL LIGHT AND ASB CALL CAME ON AND CAR WAS UNCONTROLABLE TO DRIVE TURN OFF AND RESTARTED IT AND THE WAS FINE UNTIL NOW
TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE A CONCERN THAT CHEVY CRUZE MIGHT HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE TURBO OF THE VEHICLE. MY CAR IS 3 YEARS OLD AND HAS NOW EXPERIENCED A TURBO ISSUE. I PERSONALLY KNOW OF 2 OTHER VEHICLE OWNERS WITHIN MY AREA THAT IS CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH THE SAME ISSUE.
I WAS REAR ENDED BY A DRIVER TRAVELING OVER 45MPH WHILE I WAS AT A FULL STOP. THIS IMPACT SLAMMED MY VEHICLE INTO THE TRUCK INFRONT OF MINE, AND SHOULD HAVE CAUSED THE AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY. DESPITE THE ONBOARD COMPUTER ALERTING ME THAT THEY HAD, NO AIRBAGS IN THE CAR DEPLOYED. THERE WAS HOWEVER A DISTINCT ODOR AND WHITE POWDER PRESENT, LEADING ME TO BELIEVE THEY MAY HAVE ATTEMPTED TO.
COOLING SYSTEM CONTINUES TO LEAK AFTER BEING REPLACED FOR THE THIRD TIME NOW. THE CAR DOES NOT RETAIN COOLANT OR WATER TO KEEP THE ENGINE FROM OVERHEATING. THE CAR WILL OVERHEAT IF IT DOESN'T HAVE COOLANT OR WATER. I HAVE TO FILL THE RESERVOIR EACH TIME BEFORE DRIVING AND WHEN DRIVING I AM LIMITED TO ABOUT 8 HOURS WITHOUT THE AIR CONDITION ON.
STEERING ANGLE SENSOR ELECTRICAL FAILURE. I BACKED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY; AFTER PUTTING IT IN "DRIVE" THE CAR FISHTAILED AND THE "SERVICE STEERING WHEEL" MESSAGE CAME ON THE DASH. I BROUGHT IT TO SIMPSON CHEVROLET AND THEY DIAGNOSED THE "STEERING ANGLE SENSOR ELECTRICAL FAILURE" AND REPLACED THE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR. THEY STATED THAT THE CAR WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE.
WATER PUMP FAILURE. THE RECALL ON THE CRUZE IS FOR THE YEARS PRIOR AND STILL AN ISSUE FOR THE 2015 MODEL.
VEHICLE WENT IN FOR RECALL (15594: EMISSIONS RECALL ' NOX POSITION 1 SENSOR REPLACEMENT ' 2014-2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE) THEY REPLACED THE PART AND 13 MONTHS AFTER THE PART FAILED AGAIN. THE ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON. THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ONCE AGAIN ANOTHER FAULTY PART. VEHICLE IS STILL AT THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THAT IT IS 1 MONTH OVER THE WARRANTY.
CAR JERKS AND SHAKES DUE TO ENGINE MALFUNCTION. ENGINE HAS A MANAFUCTERS CRACK AND IT SHAKES WHILE STATIONARY AND MOVING
WHEN DRIVING MY 2015 CHEVY CRUZE DOWN THE HIGHWAY I NOTICED THAT THE TEMPERATURE OF THE CAR WAS GOING UP PAST THE NORMAL POINT AND THAT THE HEATER WAS NO LONGER WORKING. ABOUT 5 MINUTES LATER THE DISPLAY SAID "A/C TURNED OFF DUE TO EXCESSIVE ENGINE HEAT" AND THEN THE CAR PROCEEDED TO GO INTO "LIMP" MODE WHERE IT COULD NO LONGER BE DRIVEN AND TOLD ME TO PULL OVER AND ALLOW IT TO IDLE. AFTER A MINUTE OR TWO WITH THE ENGINE TEMPERATURE NOT GOING DOWN, I TURNED OFF THE CAR AND HAD IT TOWED TO A GM CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO REPORTED THAT THE WATER PUMP HAD GONE OUT AND THAT THE CAR HAD BEEN LEAKING COOLANT.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, I HEARD A LOUD POP, AND THE SUNROOF GLASS SHATTERED. WE HAD NOT GONE UNDER ANY OVERPASS NOR WERE WE BEHIND ANY VEHICLE DROPPING LOOSE DEBRIS. TSB NO. 15224
LEAKING COOLANT: THERE ARE MULTIPLE POSTS ONLINE WITH THIS ISSUE YET CHEVROLET IS NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. MY CAR, AND MANY MORE ARE LEAKING COOLANT DAILY. HAS ANYONE LOOKED INTO THIS, OR IS THIS BEING INVESTIGATED? WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR A DEFECT THEY PRODUCED!
BRAKES WORK ONE TIME FINE THEN THE NEXT IT WILL ALMOST PUT YOU THREW THE WINDOW .NO LOSS OF PETAL BUT SAME AMOUNT OF PRESSURE APPLIED TO PEDAL EVERYTIME AND RESULTING IN A NORMAL STOP TO A SHARP STOP.NEW ROTOR AND PAD 6 MONTHS AGO. TOOK IT TO THE SHOP WEAR THE BRAKE PADS AND THE ROTOR WERE REPLACED AND THEY SAID EVERYTHING AS FAR AS THE PADS AND ROTORS ARE GOOD ITS SOMETHING ELSE.(BRAKE BOASTER , BRAKE ASST, SWITCH) TALK DEALER AND THEY SAID IT NO A COVER PART IF IT A POWERTRAIN BRAKE BOOSTER OR BRAKE ASST SWITCH. EVERY EVERY DANGEROUS I WILL NOT LET MY FAMILY DRIVE THIS CAR UNTIL PROBLEM IS SOLVED.
APPRX. 29000 MILES. PROB. 1: HEATER STOPPED WORKIING, PROB. 2: VENT BLOWER MOTOR MAKING LOUD TINKING NOISE. PROB 3: FEEL PULSATING INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING, GOT REALLY BAD AND SERVICE STABILITRAK DISPLAY APPEARED. GOT TO DESTINATION, CAR PARKED COUPLE HOURS. UPON STARTING CAR AND PUTTING IN DRIVE WITH LIGHT ACCELERATION IT WOULDN'T MOVE, ACCELERATE MORE WOULD JUMP FORWARD THEN LOCK UP. NEXT DAY HAD CAR TOWED TO DEALER. PICKED CAR UP 7 DAYS LATER, IT DRIVES BUT NOW MAKES CHIRPING NOISE WHEN SHIFTING WITH BREAK COMPLETELY DEPRESSED, BREAK LINE CHIRPING AS WELL. WILL BRING BACK TO DEALER. ALL REPAIRS COVERED BY WARRANTY. 1 MONTH WARRANTY LEFT.
AFTER I HAD STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT, I BEGAN TO START A LEFT TURN, WHEN I WAS IMPACTED BY A DISTRACTED DRIVER ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. THE OTHER CAR HIT ME DIRECTLY ON THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT PANEL, CRUSHING BOTH DOORS, BENDING THE FRONT AXLE, AND TOTALING MY CAR. AS A RESULT OF THE IMPACT, MY HEAD HIT THE WINDOW, AND CAUSED IT TO SHATTER, GIVING ME A CONCUSSION.

CHEVY DEALER SAYS MY VIN IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH SPECIAL COVERAGE [XXX] WHICH COVERS THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE ON OTHER 2015 CHEVY CRUZES. WIPERS STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINDOW AND DRIVER CAN'T SEE
CHEVY CRUZE BATTERY CABLE RECALL - SB-10057574-8899 "ON CERTAIN 2011'2015 MODEL YEAR CHEVROLET CRUZE VEHICLES, THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE TERMINAL CLAMP MAY HAVE AN INSUFFICIENT CRIMP AT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL. OVER TIME, THE INTERNAL RESISTANCE INCREASES AND VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS DO NOT RECEIVE ADEQUATE POWER. WITH THIS CONDITION, THE FOLLOWING EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE: THE RADIO/HVAC DISPLAY MAY TURN OFF AND ON; THE ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM, SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM, SERVICE STABILITRAC AND STEERING VEHICLE MESSAGES MAY COME ON AND OFF; THE TURN SIGNAL SOUND MAY NOT BE HEARD; 'BATTERY SAVER ACTIVE' AND 'SERVICE STEERING' MAY DISPLAY IN THE DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER (DIC); AND THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTING MAY FLICKER. I AM HAVING THE ISSUE OF THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. SPECIAL COVERAGE 14311 WAS NOT ADDED TO MY CAR TO GET THIS REPAIR FIXED! WHILE DRIVING THE MY LINK CONSTANTLY REBOOTS, STABILITY TRACK POPS UP ON THE DASH, HVAC SHUTS OFF TOO
THE WATER PUMP IS LEAKING IN THE EXACT SAME AREA AS STATED IN THE RECALL FOR THE 2011-2014 CRUZE. THE AC OFF ERROR MESSAGE APPEARED AND EVERYTHING IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE RECALL. NOT SURE THAT THE RECALL COVERED EVERY VEHICLE THAT THIS IS HAPPENING TO. A CLOSER LOOK NEEDS TO BE TAKEN AT THE VEHICLES.
WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, I NOTICED ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE HAD OCCURRED. ALL THE COOLANT HAD BEEN EVACUATED FROM THE RESERVOIR ONTO THE PAVEMENT. VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE MECHANIC SHOP AND EVALUATED. MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THE WATER PUMP HAD LEAKED ALL THE COOLANT AND HAD TO BE REPLACED ALONG WITH THE THERMOSTAT. ACCORDING TO SERVICE BULLETIN 14371A, ONLY MODEL YEAR 2011-2014 ARE AFFECTED. I BELIEVE THAT MODEL YEAR 2015 SHOULD BE ADDED.
I DROVE OVER A BUMP AND THE SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED RIPPING THE ROOF COVERING OFF AROUND THE INSIDE TOP OF THE CAR. I REPORTED THIS TO THE DEALER AND THEY AT REFUSING TO COVER THE REPAIR EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO VISIBLE DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE ASIDE FROM SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES ALONG THE FRONT WHERE I HAD TURNED TOO CLOSE TO THE CURB IN THE PAST AND IT HAD SCRAPED THE FRONT. MY VEHICLE IS STILL AT THE DEALER AND I AM VERY FRUSTRATED THEY ARE ATTEMPTING NOT TO COVER THIS REPAIR.
HEAVY RAIN LAST 2 DAYS.. TURNED ON WIPERS AND THE DRIVER SIDE WIPER FAILED TO COMPLETE ITS COURSE, CAUSING THE PASSENGER SIDE WIPE TO "RUN OVER" THE DRIVER SIDE ONE. THE PASSENGER SIDE WIPER THEN BECAME ENTANGLED WITH THE "STUCK" DRIVER SIDE WIPER AND ACTUALLY CAUSED IT TO FLIP UP AND OVER, THUS RENDERING BOTH WIPERS USELESS AND ME UNABLE TO SEE WHERE I WAS DRIVING DURING A HEAVY RAINY / FOGGY NIGHT! I MANAGED TO PULL INTO A PLAZA SAFELY TO FLIP MY PASSENGER SIDE BACK TO ITS PROPER POSITION. WHEN I CHECKED THE DRIVER SIDE WIPER THE COMPLETE ARM THAT ATTACHED TO THE MOTOR WAS LOOSE AND IT WOULD NOT STAY IN THE CORRECT "STARTING / FINISHING" POSITIONS AND I COULD PUSH/PULL IT UP AND DOWN INTO DIFFERENT POSITIONS BUT AFTER ONE WIPE IT WOULD BOTTOM OUT ON THE BOTTOM OF MY WINDSHIELD/COWL BACK INTO THE INCORRECT POSITION WHERE IT INTERFERES WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE WIPER. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN AS I COULD NOT SEE WHERE I WAS GOING AND NOW MY WIPERS ARE USELESS BECAUSE EVEN IF I USE IT FOR A SINGLE WIPE IT GETS ASS TANGLED UP. SEE THE ATTACHED IMAGE OF THE PASSENGER WIPER THAT IS FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN FROM NORMAL USE DURING HEAVY RAIN! I USED TO INSTALL THESE WIPER ASSEMBLY AT GM AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THIS ONE IS NOT TORQUED TO SPECS BECAUSE I CAN MOVE IT BY HAND! AND THE WIPER BLADES ARE LIKELY EATEN UP NOW TOO FROM CLEANING ON AND OFF THE GLASS, ONTO TO COWL AND OVER TOP EACH OTHER. NOT TO MENTION THE BOLT THAT ATTACHES IT TO THE MOTOR IS LIKELY STRIPPED UP NOW FROM THE FREE SPINNING MOVEMENTS....
WATER PUMP FAILED WHILE DRIVING
ONE WINDSHIELD WIPER STOPPED WORKING. THE NEXT DAY THEY BOTH HAVE STOPPED. THEY WILL NOT MOVE AT ALL
NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE ISSUE - MY RADIO IS CUTTING IN AND OUT, TURN SIGNALS WILL NOT ALWAYS WORK, "SERVICE STABILITRAK" LIGHT WILL INTERMITTENTLY FLASH.
THE BLIND SPOT DETECTION SYSTEM HAS EXPERIENCED 2 FAILURES WITHIN 45,000 MILES AND LESS THAN 3 YEARS. IT APPEARS THE RADAR SENSORS LOCATED IN THE REAR BUMPER FACIA ARE PRONE TO WATER PENETRATION AND DAMAGE. THE DEFECT MANIFESTS ITSELF WITH DIC REPORTING AN ISSUES WITH THE SYSTEM. WHEN FURTHER SYMPTOMS APPEAR THEY CAN BLANK THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND RADIO AS THE CAN COMM BUS IS LIKELY SHORTED. THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW SPEED,FUEL AND OTHER INFORMATION. THERE IS NO TURN SIGNAL FEEDBACK AND CONSTANT FLICKERING OF FAULT INFORMATION FROM THE CLUSTER. THE FIRST REPAIR WAS > $100 DOLLARS AS THE DEALER SEEMED AWARE OF THIS ISSUE. THE FAULT CAN OCCUR AT ANY TIME DURING THE DRIVE CYCLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MIDAS, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND UNABLE TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 40 MPH, THE POWER STEERING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED. AS A RESULT OF THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKING, THE VEHICLE EVENTUALLY SHUT OFF AND THE CONTACT HAD TO WAIT A WHILE FOR THE VEHICLE TO RESTART. WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED, IT ALSO CAUSED THE CONTACT TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE FH DAILEY CHEVROLET DEALER (800 DAVIS ST, SAN LEANDRO, CA), BUT THE DIAGNOSIS WAS UNDETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,000.
I WAS DRIVING AND WAS STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN I PROCEEDED TO EXCEL FORWARD. THE CAR WAS ONLY GOING BETWEEN 10-15 MILES PER HOUR WHEN WITHOUT HITTING OR CURBING ANYTHING MY TIRE BLEW. RIGHT AFTER THE TIRE BLEW ALL (6) SIX OF MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. WHEN THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED THE CAR QUICKLY FILLED WITH SMOKE LIKE AIR. THE AIRBAGS CAUSED ME TO NOT BE ABLE TO SEE AND I STEERED THE CAR OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. AT SUCH TIME, ONSTAR CAME ACROSS THE SPEAKERS AND ASKED IF WE WERE IN AN ACCIDENT AND IF WE NEEDED THE POLICE &/OR AN AMBULANCE. WE YELLED TO THE ONSTAR PERSON THAT WE THOUGHT THE CAR WAS ON FIRE BECAUSE OF THE SMOKE LIKE SUBSTANCE AND THAT WE NEEDED THE POLICE THAT WE WERE ON ONLY VEHICLE THAT HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. I STILL HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TRANSPIRED IN THE EVENT OF THE TIRE BLOWING ESPECIALLY SINCE I DIDN'T HIT ANYTHING OR CURB ANYTHING. AND I STILL DON'T KNOW WHY THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WHEN THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE. I AM EDUCATED ON THE REQUIREMENTS OF DEPLOYED AIRBAGS AND NEVER AT SUCH TIME DID I EVER MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS ESPECIALLY FOR ALL (6) SIX OF THE AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY. I NEVER HIT ANYTHING AT A SPEED OF 14 MPH, NOR WAS I TEE BONED FROM BOTH SIDES, NOR DID OUR CAR ROLE OVER. WHICH IS THE MAIN REASONS FOR ALL (6) SIX OF THE AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY. ON ANOTHER NOTE THE AIRBAGS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE, MY SIDE, DEPLOYED WITH SUCH FORCE THAT THE AIRBAGS BROKE MY GLASSES, MY CELL PHONE SCREEN, AND BROKE THE IGNITION KEY OFF IN THE IGNITION. THE AIRBAG THAT PROTECTS THE DRIVERS KNEES LEFT A BRUISE THE SIZE OF A GRAPEFRUIT ON MY LEG. I NEVER SEEMED MEDICAL ATTENTION. AS FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAGS, THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY FORCE BEHIND THEM. THE AIRBAGS NEVER EVEN TOUCHED MY WIFE AT ALL AND SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANY INJURIES AT ALL. THE TIRE IN WHICH WE ARE DISCUSSING IS THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE.
ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) KEEPS GOING OUT. HAD TO REPLACE IT TWICE IN 1 YEAR AND POSSIBLY AGAIN SOON. THE CAR WOULD START, IT WOULD SHAKE A LITTLE BIT WHILE DRIVING THROUGH THE CITY, THE AC WOULD STOP WORKING AS WELL. IF I MADE FREQUENT STOPS (RUNNING ERRANDS) IT WOULD EVENTUALLY NOT START AGAIN. I WOULD HAVE TO LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE I COULD GET IT TO START AGAIN. DEALERSHIP IDENTIFIED THAT IT WAS THE ECM BUT CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY IT KEEPS BURNING OUT. SO FAR THE WARRANTY HAS COVERED THIS BUT NOW IT DOES NOT. THE CAR HAD 9000 MILES ON IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT.

CAR IS RELEASING GASOLINE'S FUMES . VERY STRONG AND IS GIVING M A HEADACHE WHICH ALSO MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO BREATH WHILE DRIVING
WHILE DRIVING ALL OF SUDDEN TRAFFIC BEGAN TO SLOW EVENTUALLY ALL VEHICLES STOP THIS CAR DID NOT STOP UNTIL IT HAD TO BE ALSO MOST FLOORED; THEN AS WE START TO PROCEED THE VEHICLE DID NOT WANT TO MOVE IT WAS IN DRIVE ALL THE WAY; IT JUST STARTED TO VIBRATE AN NOT ACTUALLY MOVING WITH ACCELERATION; THEN WITH INCREASE ACCELERATION IT GOT OUT OF THE VIBRATION AND BEGAN TO MOVE FORWARD; THEN WE SMELT SOMETHING AS BURNING; ALL THIS HAPPEN WHILE WE WERE DRIVING ON A BUSY THREE LANE ONE DIRECTION TRAFFIC STREET; WE CALL IT STOP AND GO; THERE ARE TRAFFIC LIGHTS, AND YOU MUST GO WHEN ITS TIME TO GO ON "GREEN". IF NOT THIS CAN CAUSE AND ACCIDENT.
I STARTED SMELLING GAS FUMES. IMMEDIATELY DROVE THE CAR TO A DEALERSHIP. THEY STATED THAT THE FUEL LINE WAS LEAKING WHERE IT WENT INTO THE MOTOR AND THE CAR WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. AFTER SITTING AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS, I WAS TOLD THAT THE PART TO FIX THE CAR WAS UNAVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. MY CAR HAS BEEN SITTING AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR 4 WEEKS. NOW I AM BEING TOLD BY CHEVROLET THAT IT COULD BE 3 -4 MONTHS BEFORE THEY CAN GET THE PART. CHEVROLET CORPORATE SAID THAT THE PART WAS FAULTY AND THEY DON'T HAVE A REPLACEMENT PART. THIS PART IS THE FUEL LINE AND FUEL RAIL. CHEVROLET DOES NOT HAVE THE PART NEI5ER HAVE THEY DONE A RECALL. THEY REFUSE TO COMPENSATE ME FOR BEING WITH OUT THE CAR.
I BOUGHT A 2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE ON NOVEMBER 13, 2105. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS ELECTRICAL ISSUES STARTING ABOUT ONE MONTH AFTER THE PURCHASE. I HAVE BEEN TO FOUR DEALERSHIPS TO HAVE IT REPAIRED, AND IT COMES BACK WITH NO ISSUES FOR ABOUT TWO TO FOUR WEEKS AND THE NIGHTMARES START OVER AGAIN. THE NEWEST ISSUE IS A SAFETY MATTER. MY CAR DECIDED TO KEEP MY LOCKED INSIDE THE CAR. AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS TO OPEN THE DRIVER DOOR IT FINALLY OPENED. (IN MY OWN DRIVEWAY) LAST WEEK I WAS SITTING SIDEWAYS. IN THE DRIVERS SEAT, WITH THE DRIVER DOOR OPEN AND MY FEET WERE ON THE GROUND. I WAS POSTIONED AS SUCH FOR ABOUT FIVE MINS. ALL OF A SUDDEN I HEARD THE SOUND OF THE DOORS LOCKING, THEN FIVE SWISHING NOISES FOLLOWED BY A DOUBLE LOCK SOUND, IN WHICH ALL FOUR LOCK BUTTONS WENT DOWN. (PARKING LOT AT WORK) THE NEXT DAY PERSON WAS IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE, WITH CAR SHUT OFF, AND SHE HEARD A MUTED LOCK SOUND, THEN A BRIEF HUMMING NOISE, THEN THE CAR MADE THE DOUBLE LOCKING SOUND BUT NONE OF THE BUTTONS WENT DOWN. (AT A GAS STATION) ALL THREE INCIDENTS OCCURED WHILE THE KEYS WERE IN MY HAND, AND IGNITION OFF. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, FOR THE PASSENGERS OF THIS VEHICLE. AS FOR ALL THE DOORS STAYING LOCKED WHILE INSIDE, I'M SO GLAD IT WAS ONLY 84 DEGREES, AND THAT I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE CAR. I HAVE REOPENED MY CASE WITH LEMON LAW AS THIS IS ONE OF THE MANY THINGS THAT OCCUR WITH THIS VEHICLE.
I WAS EXPERIENCING TROUBLE WITH ACCELERATING AND I PULLED OVER AND THE ENGINE BURST INTO FLAME AND TOTALED MY CAR. CALLED 911 AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT PUT INT OUT.
MY CAR IS OVERHEATING THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME KIND OF LEAK
PURGE VALVE ON A 2015 CHEVY CRUZE 1.4 ECOTEC TURBO WITH 65,000 MILES. STARTED AS A SMALL LITTLE TICKING NOISE THEN ITS BEEN GETTING LOUDER. AT THE TIME I DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT, HAD IT LOOKED IT BY MECHANICS BUT THE CAR WAS NOT THROWING ANY CODES. TOLD IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LIFTER... BUT THEN THE TICKING NOISE JUST GOT LOUDER AND MY CAR STARTED USING MORE FUEL AND WASN'T RUNNING RIGHT. MY CAR HAS TRIED SHUTTING DOWN (DYING) IN AN INTERSECTION, SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT ALSO. WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND OR EVEN CITY STREETS FEELS LIKE THE CAR IS CUTTING IN AND OUT. RPM'S ARE NOT STEADY, WILL BOUNCE FROM 700 RPM TO 400 RPM WHILE SITTING STILL. ROUGH IDLE ALSO. THE SOUND CONTINUED TO GET WORSE NOW SOUNDS LIKE A MARBLE BOUNCING AROUND IN THE VALVE. NOW THAT I HAVE FIGURED OUT THAT IT IS THE PURGE VALVE I AM BUYING THE PURGE VALVE TO GET IT FIXED. FROM THE RESEARCH THAT I HAVE DONE THIS PART COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT DUE TO THE CAR STALLING OUT AND OR DYING ON THE HIGHWAY OR IN A INTERSECTION. PRETTY SURE THAT WHAT IS LEFT OF MY WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THIS PART, I WOULDN'T THINK THAT A CAR THAT IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD AND ONLY 65,000 MILES ON IT WOULD HAVE THIS KIND OF AN ISSUE AND THIS KIND OF AN ISSUE THAT WOULD NOT THROW A CODE LIKE A SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT OR SOMETHING. LIKE I SAID MY CAR HASN'T THROWN ANY CODES SO IT WASN'T REALLY THE EASIEST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM SO IT COULD GET REPAIRED.
I WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH INTERIOR FOGGING OF MY WINDOW AND NOTICED WATER DRIPS ON THE INSIDE OF MY WINDSHIELD DURING DRY WEATHER AND TOOK IT TO THE DEALER. ALTHOUGH THEY COULD NOT FIND A LEAK THEY REPLACED THE SEAL. THAT LASTED A WHILE (SPRING AND SUMMER) THEN IT RETURNED AGAIN AND I GETTING THE SAME ISSUES. I WILL BE DRIVING AND THE INSIDE OF THE WINDOWS FOG THEN FREEZE. THIS IS WHEN THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR IS WARM.
WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING OR YOU ARE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, YOU CAN PLAY A GAME ON THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN YOU TURN LEFT OR RIGHT AND YOU FEEL A FEW BLOWS AND THUNDERS THAT ARE REALLY WORRYING BECAUSE I TAKE A LOT OF THE TRACK FOR AND WITH MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION
MAJOR FRONT AND SIDE IMPACT--NO AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. ENTERED INTERSECTION PROPERLY AND ANOTHER DRIVER RAN THROUGH RED LIGHT AND HIT THE CAR IN RIGHT FRONT, CRACKING THE WINDSHIELD, AND SPINNING THE CAR AROUND AND HITTING THE RIGHT REAR SIDE, BREAKING THE RIGHT REAR WHEEL OFF AND RESTING ON IT SIDEWAYS. RIGHT FRONT PASSENGER RECEIVED MILD CONCUSSION FROM HITTING HEAD ON RIGHT DOOR GLASS. DRIVER AND PASSENGER HAVE BRUISES. BOTH HAD SEAT AND SHOULDER BELTS ON.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE LT THE RADIO SHUT OFF, LIGHTS FLICKERED, SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AND OTHER WARNING LIGHTS TEMPORARILY FLICKERED ON AND OFF FOR A FEW SECONDS BEFORE RETURNING BACK TO NORMAL. THIS HAPPENS MULTIPLE TIMES DAILY OFTEN INVOLVING THE POWER STEERING. WHILE TURNING THE VEHICLE, THE RADIO WILL SHUT OFF, LIGHTS WILL FLICKER, AND POWER STEERING WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF CAUSING THE STEERING WHEEL TO JERK WHILE IN THE TURNING PROCESSES. THE CAR HAS TROUBLE STARTING OFTEN AND SOMETIMES WILL NOT START. THE BATTERY HAS BEEN TESTED AND IS FINE AS WELL AS THE ALTERNATOR. SOMETIMES THE RADIO WILL SHUT OFF AND NOT COME BACK ON UNTIL THE NEXT DAY EVEN AFTER RESTARTING THE VEHICLE. THE LARGEST AND MOST DANGEROUS ISSUE I HAVE HAD WITH MY VEHICLE IS THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKING UP WHILE TURNING. THE VEHICLE WOULDN'T START ON ONE OCCASION OR EVEN ATTEMPT TO START AND THE KEY WAS LOCKED IN THE IGNITION FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE FINALLY THE LIGHTS ALL CAME BACK ON IN THE CAR AND IT STARTED BACK.
OUR 2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE STARTED IDLING AT HIGH RPMS, HAD TROUBLE SHIFTING AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WE TOOK IT IN AND WAS TOLD COULDN'T FIND THE PROBLEM SO THEY RESET THE CODE. IT STARTED AGAIN AFTER ABOUT TWO WEEKS SO WE TOOK IT TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC SHOP. THEY SAID IT WAS THE PCV VALVE AND THAT THEY HAVE SEEN A LOT OF CRUZE' WITH THIS PROBLEM.
