The contact stated that after depressing the button to raise the front driver’s side window, a mechanical motor noise was present, and the window would not move and remained stuck in the halfway opened position. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the front passenger’s side window regulator was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not yet notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 83,000.
