my vehicle had just fixed by chevy dealership they changed both battery. i drove and pick it up,but its having the same problem it stalled or stops in red lights when i push brake it engaged the autop stop and have to restart the car again. almost got into an accident because i was stucked in the traffic with green lights and im in the middle of the road and my gas pedal wont work/accelerate. i paid 700$ for both battery i need my refund too.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (PAT O'BRIEN CHEVROLET, 2315 STATE RTE 60, VERMILION, OH 44089, (888) 392-1095) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SENSOR UNDER THE BRAKE PEDAL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,614. **TR SENSOR, BRAKE LIGHTS STAYING ON CONSUMER STATED I PURCHASED THIS 2014 MALIBU FROM MY SON KEN WHO LIVES IN MCCARDSVILLE, IN. THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS STAYED IN THE ON POSITION AND WERE ONLY NOTICED WHEN OUR SON KEVIN WAS FOLLOWING US ON A TRIP THIS PAST JUNE. IN 2016 I STARTED EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH MY CRUISE CONTROL WORKING SOMETIMES & SOMETIMES NOT. AFTER A YEAR OR SO WHILE DRIVING MY CAR ABS LIGHT INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON (OCT.2017) AFTER TAKEN IT TO AN AUTHORIZED GM DEALER IT WAS FOUND THAT MY LEFT REAR WHEEL HUB UNIT BEARING BROKE, A LITTLE OVER A MONTH LATER, THE ABS & THE STABILITY TRAC LIGHT CAME ON. THIS TIME IT WAS THE RIGHT REAR WHEEL HUB UNIT BEARING BROKE. IT CONTROLS ALL THAT TAKES PLACE WITH STOPPING, CRUISE CONTROL,SKIDDING, BREAKING,ETC.... EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE PER TIRE & NOT SAFE! AFTER QUITE A BIT OF RESEARCH THE MALIBU & IMPALAS ARE WELL KNOWN FOR THIS ISSUE.I WAS DRIVING BOTH TIMES WHEN THIS HAPPENED, I WAS TRAVELING DOWN AN EXPRESSWAY(I-75)!

THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT, BUT MADE NO MENTION AS TO WHY THE REPAIR WAS NOT COMPLETED BEFORE THE VEHICLE WAS SOLD. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN AS TO WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALER. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
AT TIMES, WHEN I HIT MY BRAKES, THE BRAKE PEDAL WILL STICK IN THE DOWNWARD POSITION AND IT WILL MAKE A GROANING SOUND. I HAVE TO TAKE MY FOOT AND RETURN THE BRAKE PEDAL TO IT'S ORIGINAL POSITION. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES, WITH PASSENGERS TO ASSURE ME THAT THE BRAKES WERE, IN DEED, MAKING THIS NOISE AND CAUSING THE CAR TO JERK AT TIMES. I HAVE HAD THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY CAN NOT FIND THE PROBLEM. VERY INTERESTED IN WHETHER THERE IS A RECALL, BECAUSE MY HUSBAND'S SILVERADO DOES THE SAME THING AND IT WAS RECALLED. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON NUMEROUS TIMES AND IS ALWAYS IN A POSITION OF GOING DOWN HILL AND IN A CURVE. IT HAS HAPPENED ANY WHERE FROM 24 MPH TO 40 MPH. IN MY COMMENTS, I TRIED TO REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED, BUT IT IS AN ESTIMATE ONLY.

ON 7/8 I WENT IN FOR A REGULAR OIL CHANGE. GM TOLD ME THERE WAS A RECALL AND THEY SET MY BRAKES. MY CAR HAS WHAT IS CALLED AN AUTO STOP FEATURE THAT SAVE FUEL. AFTER THEY FIXED MY BRAKES AND I DROVE AWAY MY AUTO STOP WOULD NOT ENGAGE AT ALL. I TOOK IT BACK RIGHT BACK ON 7/8. THEY TOLD ME THEY FIXED THE AUTO STOP. I DROVE AWAY AGAIN FOR THE SECOND TIME. AUTO STOP STILL NOT ENGAGING. I TOOK IT RIGHT BACK. I THEN CALLED NINE DAYS LATER THEY SAID IT WAS FIXED BUT WHEN I GOT THERE IT HAD NOT BEEN FIXED AND THEY TRADED OUR RENTAL FOR WHAT THEY CALL A DRAC CAR. THEY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO RESET THE COMPUTER COMPLETELY. THEY THEN CALL BACK AT 3:30 TO TELL ME IT WAS FIXED. THIS WAS 7/14. I PICKED IT UP TODAY 7/15 AND AUTO STOP IS NOT WORKING. THEY WANT ME TO KEEP IT A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE I BRING IT BACK. *TR

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH AN ANIMAL BEGAN ENTERING MY PATH. DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE ANIMAL I IMMEDIATELY APPLIED THE BRAKES HARD. THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY JERKED THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT AND THEN EVEN HARDER TO THE RIGHT. HAD I NOT HAD BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL, IT IS HIGHLY PROBABLE THAT CONTROL OF THE CAR WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST WHEN IT JERKED TO THE RIGHT. AS IT WAS, I WAS ABLE TO CONTROL THE CAR BUT THIS WAS A SCARY EMERGENCY STOP EVENT. I DID NOT HAVE TO STOP THE CAR AND DID GET SLOWED ENOUGH TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT -- IT WAS THE REACTION OF THE CAR JERKING LEFT AND MORE POWERFULLY TO THE RIGHT THAT WAS SCARY AND WAS DEFINITELY NOT EXPECTED. THE CAR HAS DISC BRAKES ALL AROUND. *TR
THE BRAKES FELT LOW AND THEN THE LOW BRAKE FLUID WARNING LIGHT AND ALSO STABILITY TRACK ALARM AND THE BRAKE LIGHT ON THE OTHER SIDE LIT UP. I DROVE A FEW MILES MORE AND THE ALARMS WOULD SOUND EVERY TIME I HIT THE BRAKES. THE CAR HAD TO BE FLAT BEDDED BACK TO THE DEALER. THE TRUCK DRIVER LOOKED FOR BRAKE FLUID LEVEL, THERE WAS NO BRAKE FLUID AT ALL. I WAS INFORMED LATER THAT THE BRAKE FLUID HAD ALL LEAKED OUT THE REAR CALIPER.
