OUR TRUCK WAS PARKED IN OUR DRIVEWAY. WE HAD BEEN HOME FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS AFTER DRIVING THE TRUCK. IT CAUGHT FIRE AND EXPLODED. THE FIRE DEPT SAID THE IT STARTED IN THE DASH UNDER THE STEERING COLUMN, PROBABLY RESULTING FROM FAULTY WIRING. WE HAVE HAD THIS TRUCK FOR 4 MONTHS AND IT ONLY HAD 9000 MILES ON IT. WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING GO WRONG WITH IT UNTIL NOW AND THIS IS MAJOR. THE TRUCK IS TOTALLY DESTROYED, ANOTHER CAR WAS DAMAGED AND THE SIDING OF OUR HOUSE HAD DAMAGE. ARE THERE ANY OTHER REPORTS OF THIS? *AK
ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE DUE TO A SHORT TO GROUND OCCURRED WITH IN POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE. VEHICLE WAS TOTALLED. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED.*AK *JB
VEHICLE EXPERIENCING PROBLEM WITH DELAY IN STOPPING DISTANCE WHEN APPLYING BRAKE ON WET SNOW ROAD CONDITIONS. DEALER / MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED AT THIS TIME. *AK THE CONSUMER INDICATED THAT THE SUDDEN LOSS OF BRAKING WHEN THE ABS ENGAGES WAS FRIGHTENING AND DANGEROUS. *YH
MANUFACTURER STATED A TOOL BOX MOUNTED IN THE TRUCK BED CAUSED THE SEPARATION. TOOL BOX WAS INSTALLED PER RECOMMENDATIONS OF SCHMITT MOTORS' BODY DEPT. BRACKETS WERE INSTALLED UNDER THE TOOLBOX TO KEEP WEIGHT OFF SIDERAILS. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO 3 TRUCKS WE'VE OWNED IN THE PAST 3 YEARS. TOOL BOX HAS BEEN INSTALLED 3 DIFFERENT WAYS, ALL WITH THE SAME RESULTS. WE HAVE SINCE TRADED THIS TRUCK FOR A DODGE RAM TRUCK, BUT STILL FEEL THE PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE REPORTED. THANK YOU.*AK
ALL FRONT SEATBELTS DO NOT LOCK. THEY RETRACT OUT WHEN PULLING ON THEM, IN AN ACCIDENT SEATBELT WOULD NOT HOLD. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, ESPECIALLY AT 55 MPH STEERING WHEEL WON'T STAY STRAIGHT, AND WILL PULL TO SIDES, CAUSING CONSUMER TO LOSE CONTROL IN MANY OCASSIONS.*AK
WHEN CONSUMER APPLIED BRAKES THE PEDAL WOULD GO ALL WAY TO THE FLOOR. THERE WAS DOUBLE PAD ON CALIPER. *AK
BACK BRAKES DO NOT WORK PROPERLY, FRONT TIRES WERE REPLACED DUE TO FAULTY RIGHT FRONT BRAKES, CONSUMER STATES THAT THERE HAVE BEEN MANY CLOSE CALLS DUE TO THE FAULTY BRAKES. *SLC
I PURCHASED A NEW 2000 CHEVY 3500 4 DOOR DULLY. IT NOW HAS 67,000 MILES. THE TRUCK HAS WORN OUT SEVEN SETS OF BRAKES AND AT THIS MOMENT IT NEEDS THE 8TH SET PLUS THE FRONT ROTORS ARE CRACKED FROM EXCESSIVE HEAT AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. EVEN WITH NEW BRAKE PADS THE TRUCK WILL NOT STOP AS IT SHOULD YOU MUST DRIVE IT LIKE YOUR DRIVING IN SNOW. I SELDOM DRIVE IT OVER 55 MILES PER HOUR UNLESS I AM ON THE OPEN ROAD WITH NO CARS IN SIGHT. I HAVE HAD NO ACCIDENTS JUST SEVERAL CLOSE CALLS. BUT THAT IS A RESULT ONLY OF MY DEFENSIVE DRIVING HABITS. I PURCHASED THIS TRUCK FOR HEAVY HAULING BUT THE TRUCK WON'T STOP ITSELF MUCH LESS A LOADED TRAILER. THE DEALER WAS HAPPY TO PUT NEW BRAKES ON AS LONG AS THE GENERAL WAS PAYING THE BILL BUT NOW THAT THE 3 YEARS 36,000 HAS EXPIRED IT'S JUST ME AND MY CHECK BOOK. *LA
POWER STEERING STOPS FUNCTIONING INTERMITTENTLY. WHEEL CAN ONLY BE TURNED WITH GREAT EFFORT WHEN VEHICLE IS SITTING STILL. . CAN OCCUR AT ANY TIME BUT MOST OFTEN IF VEHICLE IS FACING DOWNHILL. CHEVROLET SAY THIS IS THE NATURE OF THE BEAST AND WILL NOT FIX IT. I LHAD IDENTICAL PROBLEMS WITH A 98 TRUCK AND IT WAS FIXED BY REPLACING THE STEERING GEAR BOX WITH A HEAVY DUTY BOX FROM A 3/4 TON TRUCK. *AK
THERE IS A KNOCKING NOISE IN ENGINE WHEN CONSUMER IS DRIVING. IT WILL HAPPEN ONLY WHEN VEHICLE IS BEING DRIVEN. CONTACTED DEALER, AND DEALER IS NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING.*AK
REAR END OF VEHICLE HAS FALLEN APART, AND CONSUMER HAS VEHICLE AT THE DEALERSHIP GETTING REAR END FIXED. CONTACTED DEALER, AND THE DEALER WAS NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING. *AK
I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY 2000 SILVERADO ABS SPEED SENSOR AND GM WILL NOT REPLACE THE SENSOR OR FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT IS OCCURRING ON MANY TRUCKS AND SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING GM SHOULD CONSIDER HAVING A RECALL ON. *NLM
THERE'S A LOUD KNOCKING AND ROARING NOISE COMING FROM MOTOR. TOOK TO DEALER, AND THEY SAID THERE A MIS BETWEEN MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION.*AK
THE REAR ABS SYSTEM WHEN IT HITS A SMALL BUMP IN THE ROAD THE ABS SYSTEM REMOVES ALMOST ALL BRAKE PRESSURE ALLOWING THE PEDAL TO FALL DOWN AND DRAMATICALLY INCREASING STOPPING DISTANCE-THIS COULD HAVE EASILY CAUSED A WRECK AND HAS HAPPENED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. MY DEALER SAID IT WAS NORMAL AND REFUSES TO LOOK AT IT-BUT NO OTHER GM VEHICLE WITH ABS THAT I HAVE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM.*AK
NTI-LOCK BRAKES; WHEN PULLING INTO PARKING SPACE AT WORK, THERE IS A MANHOLE COVER THAT HAS TO TRAVEL OVER. WHEN VEHICLE HITS THIS ON A RIGHT HAND TURN, WHILE STOPPING AT A CONSTANT RATE, ABS KICKS IN AND INCREASES STOPPING DISTANCE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.*AK
THIS INFORMATION PERTAINS TO A CHEVY CK 3500 CREW CAB 4X4 DULLY PURCHASED NEW IN 2000. AT 1,923 MILES THE ORIGINAL FACTORY FRONT BRAKE PADS WERE WORN OUT AND REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. AT 3,108 MILES THE ROTOR ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED. AGAIN, AT 7,709 MILES THE FRONT DISC PADS HAD TO BE REPLACED. AT 11,596 MILES FRONT DISC PADS, REAR SHOES AND LININGS. AT 20,317 MILES FRONT PADS AGAIN ALONG WITH REPLACEMENT OF H1320 BOOSTER ASSEMBLY. AT 24,977 MILES FRONT PADS AND H0780 BRAKE VALVE REPLACED. AT 35,000 MILES ONE MORE SET OF FRONT DISC BRAKE PADS BEFORE THE WARRANTY RAN OUT AND THE GENERAL CUT ME LOOSE. SINCE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED, IT HAS CONTINUED TO BE A FRONT BRAKE JOB BETWEEN EVERY 6,000-10,000 MILES. *NM
WHILE DRIVING COULD STEP ON THE BRAKES PEDAL, SOMETIMES WILL GO TO THE FLOOR, THEN SUDDENLY WILL HAVE BRAKES. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER TWICE WHERE DEALER HAS NOT FOUND OUT WHAT HAD BEEN CAUSING THIS PROBLEM. *AK
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END ACCIDENT, THE AIRBAGS EXPERIENCED NO DEPLOYMENT, DEALER FOUND THE AIRBAG MODULE WAS DAMAGED INTERNALLY. *SLC

ORIGINAL TIRES ON A CHEVROLET, K3500, 2000, DOT AD11DOA449, AMERI 500 TR LT245/7516M+S LOAD RANGE E. SIDEWALLS DEVELOPED LARGE BUBBLES ABOUT 5 INCHES IN DIAMETER ON TWO REAR TIRES.*AK CONSUMER STATES THAT FOUR OF THE ORIGINAL GENERAL TIRES ON VEHICLE HAVE FAILED. *SLC
VEHICLE STALLED OUT AND DIED AND LEAKED FUEL DUE TO FAULTY FUEL LINES. DEALER HAS REPAIRED VEHICLE.*AK

USING AUTOMATIC LIGHT SENSOR CONTROL WHEN LIGHTS FAILED-- 65MPH ON A DARK SECONDARY ROAD- ALL THE LIGHTS IN THE VEHICLE WENT OUT - INSIDE AND OUTSIDE - FORTUNATELY IT WAS A STRAIGHT SECTION OF ROAD -- SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES AND THE PICKUP STOPPED BEFORE IT WENT INTO THE DITCH - SURE SCARED MY PASSENGERS -- HAD A MERCEDES MECHANIC WITH US AND HE SAID HE HAD READ A NEWS LETTER FROM THE MERCEDES PEOPLE ABOUT GM VEHICLES HAVING COMPLETE ELECTRICAL FAILURES - HE SAID THAT THE ARTICLE STATED THE ENGINE HAD QUIT IN SEVERAL CASES. THE LIGHTS DID FUNCTIONED ON THE MANUAL SETTING. HOWEVER, AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUTES WE ARRIVED HOME AND THE LIGHTS STILL WOULD NOT FUNCTION IN THE "AUTO SENSOR" POSITION. I STARTED USING THE "MANUAL " POSITION AT NIGHT AFTER THE INCIDENT-- BUT, SEVERAL TIMES I FORGOT TO USE THE MANUAL SETTING AND THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED. HOWEVER, SWITCHING IMMEDIATELY TO MANUAL RESTORED THE LIGHTS. IT IS A BIT UNNERVING HAVING THE LIGHTS QUIT -- AS WE LIVE IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND THE ROADS ARE NOT AS WELL MARKED NOR LIGHTED LIKE BACK EAST. REPORTED PROBLEM TO GM CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER -- FILE NUMBER C02315205 -- REPORTED TO DEALER ALSO -- BUT - NO ONE ELSE HAD RUN INTO THE PROBLEM -- THEY SAID THEY CHECKED WITH THEIR GM CONTACT -- AND THEY HAD NO RECORD OF ANYONE ELSE REPORTING THIS PROBLEM -- IT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE AN ELECTRICAL "CONTACT" PROBLEM -- WHEN IT GET HOT OR SHORTS OUT -- IT OPENS THE CONTACT POINTS AND THE LIGHTS GO OUT-- THEN WHEN IT COOLS -- THE AUTO SENSOR STARTS WORKING AGAIN. AFTER THE FIRST INCIDENT--I TRIED THE AUTO SENSOR POSITION NEXT MORNING - THE AUTO SENSOR WORKED JUST LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO OPERATE. THUS, I COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE MALFUNCTION FOR THE DEALER'S MECHANICS.*AK

A POPPING SOUND WAS COMING FROM FUEL TANK. VEHICLE BEEN IN / OUT OF DEALER SHOP ON FOUR OCCASIONS, AND HAD VARIOUS REPAIRS DONE, BUT PROBLEM STILL OCCURRED. FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE US WITH ANY FURTHER DETAILS ON THIS MATTER . *AK
THE FOURTH DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSE WHEN THE WEATHER TURNED COLDER, THEY HAD ME WAIT TWO WEEKS FOR AN APPOINTMENT. WE TOOK IT IN AND THE DEALER ADJUSTED THE LATCHES AND LUBED THEM. THE PROBLEM RETURNED IN JANUARY AND THE DEALER ORDERED NEW LATCHES AND UPON RETURNING TWO WEEKS LATER, THEY WERE INSTALLED. BY THE BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY, THE PROBLEM WAS BACK. THIS TIME THE DEALER ADJUSTED THE STRIKER TO LESSON THE WIND NOISE. ON FEBRUARY 23, 2001, THE DEALER REPLACED THE WEATHER STRIP IN THE DOORS FOR THE WINDNOISE AND SHUTTING ISSUE. ON MARCH 6, 2001, THE DEALER ONCE AGAIN ADJUISTED THE INNER LATCH IN HOPES THE DOOR WOULD CLOSE PROPERLY AND ORDERED MORE NEW WEATHER STRIP. THERE ARE TWO OTHER VISITS WE HAVE MADE TO THE DEALER FOR WHICH WE WERE NOT GIVEN A COPY OF THE WORK ORDER. OUR LAST VISIT TO THE DEALER WAS ON JULY 24, 2001. AT THAT TIME THEY WANTED TO REPLCE THE INNER DOOR SEAL AND AND REPAIR ALL THE SCRATCHES THEY HAVE PUT IN THE PAINT. FROM NOT SHUTTING CORRECTLY, THE UPPER REAR CORNER OF THE DRIVER'S DOOR BENT OUT AND PUT A CREASE IN THE DOOR. THE DRIVER'S DOOR IS HIGHER THAN THE FOURTH DOOR AND STICKS OUT WHEN SHUT. WE HAVE HAD WIND NOISE AND WATER LEAKAGE AT ANY GIVEN TIME. THE DEALER, WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, BENT THE UPPER CORNER BACK DOWN AND USED A PRY BAR TO BEND THE WELDED ON HINGES. OUR TRUCK HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, BUT LOKING AT YOU WOULD THINK IT HAS! WE FEEL THERE IS A SAFETY ISSUE HERE AS THE DOORS DO NOT ALWAYS LATCH PROPERLY AND THE HINGES BEING BENT HAS ALTERED THE INTEGRITY OF THE VEHICLE'S SAFETY. THANK YOU AARON & LOIS BEDFORD. *AK
LIFTERS KNOCK AT STARTUP ALL THE TIME. DEALER HAS REPLACED LIFTERS, USED HEAVY GRADE OIL AND CLEANERS, HIGHER GRADE GASOLINE USED FOR SIX MONTHS, NOTHING HAS STOPPED THE KNOCKING. SERVICE MANAGER HAS STATED THAT GENERAL MOTORS HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE 3.5L ENGINES AND THIS DEALERSHIP HAS WORKED ON THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MANY OTHER CUSTOMERS WHOM PURCHASED THE 1999/2000 SERIES TRUCKS WITH THIS ENGINE, INCLUDING REPLACING THE ENGINE, BUT, HE WOULD NOT PUT INTO WRITING WHAT HE WAS TELLING ME. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A MEETING WITH THE GM REP. FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS AND STILL DO NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. *AK

TRUCK WAS FINE FOR FIRST TWO MONTHS THEN SMALL VIBRATIONS. DEALER SAID TWO BAD TIRES AND CHANGED THEM (NO BETTER). TWO WEEKS LATER DEALER CHECKS TIRES AND SAYS THREE BAD TIRES . CHANGED ALL FOUR (NO BETTER). NOW DEALER WANTS ME TO PAY FOR AN UPGRADE TO MICHELINS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM . WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR GM`S CHEAP TIRES? *AK
TAILGATE CABLES BROKE WHILE STANDING ON TAILGATE LOADING MATERIALS-NO INJURY (JULY 2003). LEFT FRONT DAY TIME RUNNING LIGHT BLEW AND BURNT THE SOCKET. HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS OTHER SAME MODELS WITH SAME PROBLEM (2001). BACK PASSENGER DOORS ON THE EXTENDED CAB DO NOT FULLY LOCK DURING 30 DEGREE WEATHER AND BELOW UNTIL THE INTERIOR HEATS UP. (DEC-FEB 2000-2004) LEFT FRONT WHEEL HUB BEARING IS DEFECTIVE AFTER 38,000 MILES. (DEC 2004) *LA
BRAKE HELD TO FLOOR.HEARD ANTI-LOCK MOTORS,BUT THERE WAS NOT MUCH BRAKING ACTION. *AK
WHILE COMING TO A STOP PEDAL FELT LIKE IT WAS STOPPING BUT VEHICLE WAS STILL MOVING. THEN, BRAKE PEDAL CAME BACK UP, AND CONSUMER HAD BRAKES AGAIN.*AK
LIKELY FAILURE OF BRAKING SYSTEM. HYDRAULIC (BRAKE) FLUID RESERVOIR IS FREE TO FLOP AROUND ON MOUNTING. BRAKING SYSTEM MUST ULTIMATELY FAIL DO TO ULTIMATE FAILURE OF THE SEAL(S) AROUND THE BASE OF THIS PLASTIC RESERVOIR. EVIDENCE OF FAILURE WOULD BE IN THE FORM OF CORROSSION (RUST), WATER, AND AIR IN THE SYSTEM OR LOSS OF BREAK FLUID, DEPENDING ON WHEATHER OR NOT THE FAILURE IS DO TO INTERNAL AND/OR EXTERNAL FAILURE OF THE SEALS. IF THE VEHICLE IS USED ON ROUGH ROADS OR IN CLIMATES W/EXTREME TEMPERATURE VARIATIONS ARE PRESENT, THE FAILURE WILL BE MUCH QUICKER. FAILURE WILL BE IN THE FORM OF TOTAL LOSS OF BRAKES, BRAKE FADE, AND POOR STOPPING POWER. IT WILL TOTALY CONFUSE ANY ABS SYSTEM IN USE DO TO INCONSISTENT/ERRATIC BRAKE PERFORMANCE. ALL OF THESE CONDITIONS HAVE ALREADY BEEN REPORTED BY VARIOUS INDIVIDUALS ON PRIOR YEARS TRUCKS. WHY HASN'T THIS RESERVOIR BEEN INVESTIGATED AS TO THE EFFECTS OF ITS LEAKING IN THE FORM OF BEING ALBE TO SUCK AIR/MOISTURE INTO THE BRAKE SYSTEM OR LOOSING FLUID TO THE ATMOSPHERE?? REGARDLESS, FAILURE IS INEVITABLE, AS DYNAMIC SEALS MUST UTIMATELY FAIL, AND SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE TO ELIMINATE THIS WEAK POINT IN THIS SYSTEM. IF I AM WRONG, AND IT HAS BEEN INVESTIGATED AND DETERMINED TO BE SAFE, PLEASE LET ME HEAR FROM YOU AS I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT MY FAMILY'S SAFETY WHERE THIS MATTER IS CONCERNED! *AK
WHEN ACCELERATING GENTLY TRUCK HAS A FLATNESS AND STALLS OUT. THEN, THERE IS A VIBRATION TO IT. WAS TOLD BY DEALER THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THESE 5.3 VOLTEC ENGINES AND TRANSMISSION COMBINATION. *AK
WHILE AT A STOP AND ABOUT TO ACCELRATE VEHICLE SHUTTERS INTERMITTENTLY. WHEN BRAKING AND LETTING OFF BRAKE PEDAL ABOUT 50 %, AND PRESSING BRAKES AGAIN, VEHICLE WILL LUNGE FORWARD WHICH MAY CAUSE A CRASH. DEALER CANNOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
TIE RODS ENDS FRONT LEFT AND FRONT RIGHT REPLACED 3 TIMES, POWER STEERING PUMP FAILED AND WAS REPLACED. *JB
THE CONSUMER IS COMPLAINING OF THE DESIGN OF THE REAR LEFT EMERGENCY BRAKE SHOES AND DRUM ELBOWS, THEY ALLOW ROAD SALT AND OTHER DEBRIS TO GET INTO THE DRUM POSSIBLY CAUSING THEM TO FAIL. THE CONSUMER ALSO STATES THAT THE REAR BRAKES ARE SQUEALING DUE TO THE RUST BUILDING UP IN THE BRAKE DRUM AND SHOES. *SLC
VEHICLE EXPERIENCING SEVERE VIBRATION WHEN STARTING OFF FROM A COLD START. PROBLEM IS DUE TO A DEFECTIVE DESIGN OF DRIVESHAFT. MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED CONSUMER THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF PROBLEM. BUT, THERE WAS NO CORRECTIVE ACTION TO THIS PROBLEM AT THIS TIME. I AM WRITING TO SEEK SOME ASSISTANCE WITH AN INFERIOR PRODUCT PRODUCED BY GM. I HAVE A CHEVY 2000 SILVERADO Z71 PICK UP THAT HAS PISTON SLAP STARTING AT AROUND 15K MILES AND PROGRESSIVELY WORSENED WHICH THE DEALER STATES IS NORMAL WEAR. THIS EXPENSIVE VEHICLE ALSO HAS A REAR END BANG INTO DRIVE AND THEN REVERSE AGAIN THE DEALER STATES IS NORMAL. RECENTLY I FIXED A SNAPPED CABLE FOR THE DRIVERS WINDOW WHICH THE SAME KIND OF CABLE WAS RECALLED FOR THE TAIL GATE CABLES. I HAVE REPLACED RECALL ITEMS FOR THE TAIL GATE CABLES, DRIVE SHAFT YOLK AND THE ABS SENSORS TO WHICH IT IS STILL NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. ALL OF WHICH WHEN PRESENTED TO THE DEALER AND THE RESPONSE WAS IT IS NORMAL, UNTIL THE RECALL OCCURRED. IT IS HIGHLY PROBABLE THAT SINCE THE FAILURES (TREAD SEPARATION AND BLOWOUT) OCCURRED IN SUCH A SMALL TOWN, THEY WERE NOT REPORTED TO NHTSA. THE PISTONS IN THE ENGINE ARE KNOCKING. THE DEALER STATES THEY CANNOT HEAR THE NOISE WHICH IS QUITE OBVIOUS AND GETTING LOUDER. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TWICE FOR THIS PROBLEM AND STILL IT IS NOT CORRECTED. WE HAVE CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, BBB, CONGRESSMAN, ATTY GENERAL, IN HOPES TO HAVE SOMETHING DONE TO PREVENT THE LOCUP OF THIS ENGINE. THE BRAKES OVERHEATED AND THEY SMOKED WHEN DRIVING ON LONG STEEP GRADES, ALSO WHEN DOWN SHIFTING, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO SLOW OR STOP. THE BRAKES WERE NOT ADEQUATE FOR THE WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE. THE BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED, THE ROTORS WERE RESURFACED, THE REAR BRAKE DRUMS WERE CLEANED, AND THE BRAKE SHOES WERE ADJUSTED. (THIS DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM) THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE THESE PROBLEMS.
