ABOUT JUNE 2016 I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE ABOUT A TAKATA AIRBAG PROBLEM WITH MY VEHICLE. I HAVE CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALER DUNCAN CHEVROLET IN HARRIMAN, TN. NUMEROUS TIMES ABOUT THIS AND NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE AVAILABLE. IN LATE 2019 I CALLED THE NHTSA HOTLINE (CASE# 222611)AND WAS ADVISED TO FILE A COMPLAINT IF I DID NOT GET HELP FROM GM. I CALLED GM'S CUSTOMER HOTLINE (CASE# 9-5583836855) THAT SAME DAY AND THE REPRESENTATIVE SAID NO SOLUTION FOR THE RECALL WAS AVAILABLE YET STILL. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 3 1/2 YEARS NOW WITH NO SOLUTION FOR THE RECALL THAT IS CONSIDERED A POSSIBLE INJURY OR FATALITY RECALL FROM THE NHTSA AND 3 TO 4 YEARS TO HAVE A RECALL DONE ON A VEHICLE IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I JUST CALLED DUNCAN CHEVROLET SERVICE DEPT. AND STILL NO RESOLUTION FOR THE RECALL 1/9/2020.

I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM GENERAL MOTORS IN JUNE 2016, REGARDING THE AIR BAGS. I HAVE CONTACTED THEM SEVERAL TIMES SINCE THEN, HOWEVER, THEY ALWAYS SAY THE NEW AIR BAGS AREN'T AVAILABLE. I BELIEVE I AM GETTING THE RUN A ROUND AND THEY AREN'T PLANNING TO REPLACE THEM AT ALL.
