My daughter and I took the 2 seats out from the 3rd row seating and I was in my vehicle where the seats had been and my daughter didn't know that I was going to get out of the car and she closed the big rear hatch door and my finger was caught in the door. I started screaming and luckily she was there to open the door back up because from the inside of the vehicle you can not open the window part or the door. That to me seems very dangerous and I do not like that.
My "stability" light comes on and no mechanic knows why. It doesn't throw any codes to say what's wrong or anything... the light just comes on and off through the day... I just want to know if I need to worry bout it or not... I drive with my kids in my truck.. And my truck shakes/vibrates badly when breaking and if going 70mph or faster

MY BRAKES DIDNT STOP ME WHEN I PUSHED ON THEM AND IT CAUSED ME TO SLIDE INTO VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME WHICH DAMAGED MY RADIATOR AND LEFT SIDE FRAME OF VEHICLE.I HAVE NO WARNING DEVICES INSTALLED AND MY VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED BY ANYONE
The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the dashboard lights failed to illuminate. The contact stated that the dashboard lights would illuminate at times after he disengaged and engaged the dashboard lights switch several times or after pounding on the dashboard. The contact stated that the high-beam headlights would inadvertently turn off and on independently while driving. The contact stated that the passenger’s side air bag warning light had been illuminated. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 230,000.
SERVICE STABILITY LIGHT COMES ON AND MY TAHOE WILL NOT MOVE. BRAKES ARE HOLDING, HAVE REPLACED ABS MODULE, ABS VALVES, ALL BRAKES AND ROTORS, MASTER CYLINDER AND BOOSTER. AND STILL, I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM! VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO MIDWAY MOTORS A CHEVEROLET DEALER AND STILL NO ANSWER, AND IT'S THROWING THE VERY SAME CODES CO131 REAR DUMP VALVE FAILURE! THESE PROBLEMS AROSE AFTER DRIVING KIDS TO SCHOOL. HAD TO HAVE VEHICLE TOWED AWAY AS IT WOULD NOT MOVE EVEN WHEN PLACED IN NEUTRAL. TOTAL BRAKE LOCK DOWN!
RUSTED REAR BRAKE LINE RUPTURED SUDDENLY CAUSING A LOSE OF BRAKES, AFTER PUMPING THE BRAKES THE FRONTS STOPPED THE VEHICLE. THE ABS MODULE LOCKED THE REAR BRAKES OUT, MAKING THE TRUCK ONLY HAVE FRONT BRAKES. EVERY STEEL LINE ON THE TRUCK WAS SO RUSTED THAT YOU COULD GRAB THEM AND SNAP THEM BY HAND, I HAD TO REPLACE EVERY LINE FROM THE MASTER CYLINDER TO THE ABS MODULE, FROM THE ABS MODULE TO THE FRONT WHEELS, BOTH LINES FROM THE ABS MODULE TO THE REAR RUBBER LINES, AS WELL AS BOTH STEEL LINES ON THE REAR AXLE. THIS IS A KNOWN COMMON PROBLEM, I'VE REPLACED 100S OF THESE LINE SETS OVER THE YEARS. YOU CANT REPLACE THE BLOWN LINE, IF YOU TRY TO REPLACE THE BAD LINE (OR THE BAD SECTION) IT BUILDS MORE PRESSURE THEN BLOWS OUT ANOTHER SPOT OR ANOTHER LINE. IF YOU REPLACE ALL THE TEARS IT'LL BLOW A FRONT LINE OUT. WHEN ONE LINE IS BAD YOU MUST REPLACE THEM ALL, THIS WAS ON MY WIFE'S TRUCK, BUT I'VE HAD TO TELL 100S OF CUSTOMERS THE SAME THING. ON THE SAME YEARS OF VEHICLES (99-06) GM VEHICLES I WARN PEOPLE WHO ASK ABOUT BUYING THEM TO CHECK THE BRAKE LINES, FRAMS, AND TO INSPECT THE BODY AND BODY MOUNTS CLOSELY.
THERE IS A LITTLE STING THAT RELEASES THE BACK PART OF THE DART TOO LAY IT DONE BUT THOSE GET STRETCHED OUT OR EVEN BROKE AND CAN NO LONGER LAY THE SEAT DOWN T GET TO THE 3RD ROW IT'S A HUGE SAFTEY HAZARD

MY WIFE WAS DRIVING AND SUDDENLY THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOORBOARD. THE SERVICE BRAKES LIGHT ILLUMINATED AS DID THE STABILITY TRACK AND BRAKE FAULT LIGHTS. FORTUNATELY SHE WAS GOING SLOW AND WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL WITHOUT HAVING A COLLISION. UPON INSPECTION, I FOUND A BRAKE LINE FAILURE IN THE FRAME, DUE TO HEAVY CORROSION. THIS OCCURRED ON A CITY STREET IN A 30 MPH ZONE. *TR
HVAC BLOWER MOTOR RESISTER.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND TRAVELED ABNORMALLY TO THE FLOORBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. IT WAS UNKNOWN IF THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,000.
AT LOW SPEED OR WHEN BRAKING VEHICLE WILL NOT TURN RIGHT, ALSO WHEN STATIONARY, VEHICLE BREAKS TRACTION WHEN TURNING IN RAIN
THE SEATBELTS IN THE SECOND ROW DO NOT RETRACT PROPERLY AND TWIST EASILY IN THE HOUSING CAUSING THE SEATBELT TO NOT RETRACT AT ALL. THE ISSUE WAS FIRST NOTICED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WHEN MY SON STARTED SITTING IN A BOOSTER SEAT. THE SEAT BELT WOULD NOT RETRACT AFTER TAKING SEATBELT OFF. THE SEATBELT WOULD HAVE TO ME MANUALLY PUSHED INTO THE HOUSING IN ORDER TO PULL IT OUT AGAIN TO WEAR. ONE DAY HE PUT HIS SEATBELT ON AND IT TWISTED IN THE HOUSING AND GOT STUCK. I CHANGED HIS SEAT TO THE DRIVERS SIDE. THE SEATBELT ON THAT SIDE ALSO HAD THE SAME RETRACTING ISSUE AND NOW IT ALSO TWISTED IN THE HOUSING MAKING IT INOPERABLE. I CONTACTED CHEVROLET AND THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME DUE TO THE AGE OF MY VEHICLE AND THAT I NEEDED TO CALL A DEALER. I CONTACTED A DEALER AND WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE THE SEATBELT PROBLEM DIAGNOSED AND THAT I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR COSTS. THIS IS A SEATBELT THAT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED IMPROPERLY OR DAMAGED BY ME. A SEAT BELT SHOULD SAFELY WORK FOR THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE NOT JUST THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
HEATER SHORTED OUT CAUSING AN ELECTRICAL FIRE. FIRE ENGULFED THE WHOLE FRONT OF THE CAR INTO THE FRONT SEAT. THE VEHICLE WAS MOVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. WE HAD THE HEAT ON SETTING 4. SMELLED LIKE SOMETHING WAS BURNING. TURNED OFF THE HEATER. WHITE SMOKE STARTED COMING OUT OF VENTS. DECIDED TO GET OFF AT NEXT EXIT AND GET IT LOOKED AT. PULLED INTO PARKING LOT, BLACK SMOKE STARTED POURING OUT OF THE VENTS. WITHIN A MIN. OR TWO THE FRONT OF THE CAR WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES.

WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF, THE KEY BECAME STUCK AND WAS UNABLE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 210,000.
TAHOE FLASHES SERVICE STABILITY, STABILITY SYS DISABLED, TURN SIGNAL ON WHILE DRIVING. WHEN THE TAHOE FLASHES SERVICE STABILITY AND OR STABILITY SYS DISABLED IT SHUTS DOWN COMPLETELY. THE TAHOE DOES NOT LIKE BEING IDLE OR TURNING ON THE AIR AS IT WILL SHUT OFF COMPLETELY. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS EVERYTHING LOCKS UP AND YOU MAY/NOT CAN PULL OVER IN TIME. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS ELECTRICAL OR NOT. A LOT OF FOLKS ARE LOOKING FOR ANSWERS WHEN I GOOGLED THE ERRORS.
THE AIRBAG TROUBLE LIGHT CAME ON SHORTLY AFTER I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, WHICH WAS USED. THE INDICATOR LIGH LOCATED IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR WHICH INDICATES THE PASSENGER-SIDE AIRBAG IS OFF DOES NOT COME ON IF THERE IS NOT A PASSENGER, UNTIL THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES.
SERVICE AIR BAG AND SERVICE 4 WHEEL DRIVE LIGHT ALWAYS COMES ON. I KNOW THEIR HAS BEEN A RECALL WITH THIS MODEL RECALL # 06102 ON THE AIR BAGS, BUT THIS VIN NUMBER DOESN'T COME UP. U-TUBE SHOWS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE SPRING IN THE TRANSFER CASE ABOUT SERVICE 4WD. SEE RECALL # 06V4170000 & 1233...UPDATED 04/12/16 *BF
DRIVER FELL ASLEEP RAN INTO THE BACK OF A SEMI TRUCK, AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. VEHICLE WAS A TOTAL LOSS.

THE CONTACT REPAIRED THE SELECTOR SWITCH FOR THE FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE HOWEVER, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE LATER DRIVING 75 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY SWITCHED FROM 2 -LOW TO 4 -HIGH. THE STABILITY TRACK THEN BECAME DISABLED AND THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SWAY ABNORMALLY. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THREE INDEPENDENT MECHANICS FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. ALL OF THE MECHANICS STATED THAT THE TRANSFER CASE OR TRANSFER BOX WOULD NEED TO BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.

THE REAR LIFT GATE SOLENOID GOES BAD WHICH PREVENTS REAR WINDOW AND DOOR FROM UNLOCKING. I HAVE DONE EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ONLINE AND HAVE DISCOVERED THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE ON 05 AND 06 TAHOE, SUBURBAN, HUMMER AND YUKONS WHICH I'M ASSUMING ARE USING THE SAME PART. I CALLED THE GM DEALER IN VALENCIA CA AND WAS TOLD IT COULD BE THE TIRE WEIGHTS SO I WENT TO JIFFY LUBE FOR INSPECTION AND THERE WAS NO CHANGE ON THE TIRE WEIGHTS. DRIVING BACK ON SUNDAY AT 6:30 AM ABOUT 20 MILES FROM BAKER THE TREMBLING GOT VERY BAD TO THE POINT I DECELERATED BUT TO NO AVAIL. IT GOT TO THE POINT I CALLED THE GM DEALER AGAIN AROUND 7:30 AM AND DURING THE CONVERSATION THE DRIVER REAR TIRE BLEW UP. I SENT THE TIRE TO MICHELIN AND FILED CLAIM BUT THEY DENIED IT ON THE BASIS THAT IT HIT AN OBSTACLE WHICH IS A COMPLETE FABRICATION OF THE EVENTS THAT LEAD TO THE TIRE BLOWING UP. I WOULD LIKE TO PURSUE LEGAL ACTION BUT I AM TRYING TO LOCATE A GOVERNMENT OR STATE DEPARTMENT WHO WILL INSPECT THE TIRE AND GIVE ME AN HONEST RESULT. BOUGHT A 2006 TAHOE DECEMBER 2005. HAS 75000 MILES ON NOW. SMELLED GAS IN GARAGE, DROVE 5 MILES GOT OUT OF CAR SMELLED GAS REALLY STRONG. CALLED GARAGE TO COME AND GET CAR, FOUND 2.5 GALLONS OF GAS ON TOP OF THE GAS TANK. FUEL PUMP TOP AND LINES RUSTED, REPLACED FUEL PUMP AND GAS TANK STRAPS. CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW, KEPT IN HEATED GARAGE, WHEN DROVE IN BAD WEATHER WAS WASHED, PLUS THE UNDER CAR CYCLE THE SAME DAY THEN PUT IN HEATED GARAGE, CAR WASH 1/2 MILE FROM HOME. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED PUMPING THE BRAKES HELPED SLOW THE VEHICLE DOWN. THE SERVICE BRAKE AND ABS BRAKE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AFTER THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK NEXT TO THE BRAKE RESERVOIR AND AS A RESULT, THE ENTIRE BRAKE LINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000. THE CONSUMER STATED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE, DID NOT RESPOND, EITHER. HE WAS FINALLY ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. WHEN HE LIFTED THE HOOD, HE DISCOVERED BRAKE FLUID ALL OVER THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKE TO A REPAIR SHOP. THE MECHANIC FOUND ONE OF THE TUBES THAT WERE ATTACHED TO THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR HAD CRACKED ALLOWING THE PRESSURE TO SPRAY FLUID ALL OVER THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, RESULTING IN RAPID LOSS OF BRAKING POWER.
HAVE OWNED THIS TAHOE SINCE NEW AND HAVE HAD GENERALLY GOOD SERVICE WITH IT. I MADE A TRIP FR MAINE TO DELAWARE, SUNDAY MAR 9, 2014. WEATHER CLEAR. AT END OF TRIP I CAME UPON A RED LIGHT. PRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL, AND NOTHING HAPPENED. WENT TO FLOOR. TRIED PUMPING, AND GOT A 1% RESP AND WENT TO THE FLOOR AGAIN. TRIED EMER BRAKE. WENT TO FLOOR ALSO! NO TRAFFIC ON THIS SUNDAY SO I WAS VERY LUCKY NOT TO HAVE HAD OR CAUSED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. WHEN I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO PARK THE CAR, I LIFTED THE HOOD AND SAW B FLUID SPLATTER EVERYWHERE. AT THIS POINT, THE EMERGENCY LIGHT INFORMATION ON THE DASH APPEARED: CK BRAKES, AND THE RED CIRCLE APPEARED FOR AB BRAKES! BUT THIS INFORMATION DID NOT APPEAR AS THE B FLUID PRESSURE WAS DECLINING RAPIDLY, WHEN IT MAY HAVE HELPED ME DECIDE TO PULL OVER. THE CHEVY MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS RUST AND OXIDATION UNDERNEATH ON FRAME. BUT THIS CONDITION HAD NOTHING TO DO W/ CAUSING THE B FLUID LEAK. THE FLUID WAS COMING FROM ONE OF THE LINES LEADING FR THE B FLUID RESERVOIR. EITHER A CRACK DEVELOPED OR IT SEPARATED FROM THE PROTRUDING LINE EXTRUDING FROM THE RESERVOIR AND THE BRAKE PRESSURE FORCE SQUEEZED ALL OF THE FLUID OUT THRU THIS SMALL HOLE/CRACK. THIS WAS A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE AND NOT A FAILURE CAUSED BY SALT, OXIDATION OR WEAR AND TEAR. I THANK THE STARS FOR THE SAFE CONCLUSION OF THIS UNFORGETTABLE EVENT ESP AFTER DRIVING 500 MILES FR MAINE TO DELAWARE. WHEN I CALLED GM CUST SVC IN DETROIT, ([XXX]) GM OFFERED NO HELP AND THE SIMPLE REPAIR BILL AT THE GM DEALER WAS $3400.00!!!!! THE CAUSE WAS EITHER>>> MATERIAL FAILURE OR POOR DESIGN OR POOR WELDING/SOLDERING. IT WAS NOT CAUSED BY OXIDATION OR CORROSION. GM WAS ARROGANT AND ONLY REPEATED THAT THIS PROBLEM WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, WHICH EXPIRED IN 2011. I HOPE NO OTHER TAHOE OWNERS EVER SUFFER THIS TYPE OF CATASTROPHIC BRAKE FAILURE. THIS IS A FLEET VEHICLE WITH MULTIPLE DRIVERS. IT HAS BEEN GARAGED SINCE PURCHASED NEW, AND FREQUENTLY WASHED. IT IS INFREQUENTLY USED IN POOR WEATHER, WHEN ROADS ARE SALTED OR BRINED, AND UNDERCARRIAGE IS RINSED AFTER USE IN SUCH CONDITIONS, INTENDING TO AVOID PREMATURE UNDERCARRIAGE RUST. IN THIS EVENT, THE BRAKE PEDAL GRADUALLY LOST PRESSURE WHILE HOLDING AT A STOP AND VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL IMPERCEPTIBLY. DRIVER INITIALLY THOUGHT SEAT WAS MISADJUSTED FROM PREVIOUS DRIVER AND THAT HIS APPLIED PEDAL PRESSURE WAS RELAXING, THEREFORE HE ADJUSTED THE SEAT AND CONTINUED DRIVING. THIS WAS DURING A SNOWSTORM, SO DRIVING WAS CAUTIOUS ANYWAY. THE PRIOR DRIVER HAD NOTICED THE SAME GRADUAL PRESSURE LOSS RETROACTIVELY WHEN ASKED. WITH 2 MORE HOURS DRIVING (MOSTLY HIGHWAY WITH LITTLE NEED FOR BRAKING), THE PROBLEM WORSENED TO THE POINT THAT BRAKING WAS COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE AND INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WARNINGS WERE TRIGGERED. THE PROBLEM IS RUPTURED BRAKE LINES, DUE TO PREMATURE RUSTING. *TR
I HAVE REPLACED THE REAR DOOR ACTUATOR ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS WITH THE SAME RESULT. BOTH PARTS HAVE FAILED. ONE AFTER MARKET PART THEN A PART FROM GM MANUFACTURE. IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY BEING ABLE TO EXIT THE REAR DOOR WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE, THEREFORE A RECALL SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED TO RE-EVALUATE THE VEHICLES REAR DOOR SAFETY. *TR
THE TAILGATE ACTUATOR WILL NOT OPEN THE LIFTGATE OR GLASS ON THE TAIL LIFTGATE. THE VEHICLE HAS NO KEY ACCESS ON THE EXTERNAL PORTION OF THE VEHICLE. ON THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE THERE IS NO MANUAL RELEASE FOR THE LIFTGATE. CURRENTLY I HAVE NO WAY OF OPENING THE LIFTGATE OR GLASS. IF THERE IS AN ACCIDENT NOW, THE THIRD ROW PASSENGERS HAVE NO MEANS OF EXITING THE VEHICLE. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN. *TR
2006 TAHOE REAR LIFTGATE/GLASS WILL NOT OPEN. OWNERS MANUAL STATES TO INSERT KEY TO UNLOCK. I FEEL THAT CORRECT PARTS WERE NOT SUPPLIED DURING BUILD PROCESS AND THIS IS MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WHEN NO INTERIOR MANUAL RELEASE INSTALLED. OTHER VEHICLES HAVE MANUAL TRUNK RELEASE AND FEEL THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED BY GM AND CORRECTED. ALSO THE PART IS DEALER ITEM ONLY SO REPAIR IS SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER. *TR
2006 CHEVROLET TAHOE TAIL GATE WILL NOT OPEN. THE KEY FOB IS THE ONLY WAY TO UNLOCK IT-THERE IS NO KEY LOCK ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TAILGATE, AND TO MY UTTER SHOCK---NO INTERIOR LATCH TO UNLOCK THE TAILGATE FROM THE INSIDE. THERE IS ALSO ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO UNLOCK THE WINDOW SEPARATELY FROM THE TAIL GATE. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD. I OWN A 2006 CHEVY TAHOE THAT I JUST BOUGHT IN FEB. UP TILL NOW I HAVE LOVED IT. MY REAR LIFT GATE/HATCH WILL NOT OPEN. AFTER TRYING SEVERAL TIMES TO UNLOCK IT, STILL IT WOULDN'T OPEN. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN ACCESS THE REAR HATCH IS FROM THE KEYLESS REMOTE THAT UNLOCKS IT. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR SEVERAL REASONS. A CRASH, BE IT A ROLLOVER, HEAD ON, FIRE OR IF I PLUNGE INTO WATER, YOU CAN'T GET OUT THROUGH THE REAR ACCESS. THE LATCH/LOCK IS BROKEN AND THOUSANDS OF GMC/CHEVY OWNERS ARE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE. NOW I CAN'T HELP OUT WITH TAKING MY WHEELCHAIR BOUND GRANDMOTHER TO AND FROM HER DOCTORS APT AND HER ERRAND RUNS. THE LATCH COSTS $400.00 TO REPLACE. JUST SO THAT IT GOES OUT AGAIN?? I HAD BEEN SMELLING GASOLINE WHEN STANDING OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE FOR A WHILE. TOOK TO REPAIR SHOP WHO FOUND GASOLINE ON TOP OF THE TANK. WHEN TANK WAS DROPPED, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP AS WELL AS ALL THE METAL LINES HAD RUSTED THROUGH AND FUEL WAS LEAKING OUT. REPAIR INCLUDED NEW FUEL LINES AND NEW FUEL PUMP. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY ENGULFED IN FLAMES WITHIN MINUTES. THE FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS WERE CALLED. NO ONE WAS INJURED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY WILL SEND OUT A REPRESENTATIVE TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
