THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER DID NOT GIVE A SPECIFIC DATE FOR WHEN THE PART WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE. BUICK GMC, 1850 CAPITAL CIR NE, TALLAHASSEE, FL 32308, (850) 270-1453) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INDICATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT YET PROVIDED A REMEDY FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V868000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE DEALER DID NOT PROVIDE ODOR TESTING AND THE CONTACT'S BREATHING AND HEALTH WERE BEING AFFECTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND ESCALATED THE CONCERN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,600. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE DASHBOARD ON MY 2013 CHEVY TAHOE (53,000 MILES) HAS CRACKED NEAR THE PASSENGER AIRBAG.
THE DASHBOARD HAS CRACKED IN 2 DIFFERENT LOCATION MOST IMPORTANTLY AROUND THE FRAME OF THE PASSENGERS SIDE AIRBAG. ONLINE OVER 15,000 COMPLAINTS FILED, NO HELP FROM GMC. THE TRANSMISSION GOES OUT WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE HAD IT REPLACED AT $2900.00, AND THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST.

THE DASH CRACKED.
I HAVE A 2013 CHEVROLET TAHOE WITH 46,000 MILES AND THE DASH BOARD HAS CRACKED IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER.
SPEEDOMETER AND GEAR SELECT DID NOT OPERATE TODAY. MY WIFE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY WANTED $125 TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. I TOLD HER TO JUST SOME HOME SINCE THEY GAVE US ATTITUDE AND NO ASSISTANCE. I RESEARCHED THE ISSUE ONLINE AND FOUND THIS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE TAHOE. THE SOLUTION WAS TO REMOVE THE DIC FUSE UNDER THE HOOD, START THE VEHICLE, TURN VEHICLE OFF AND THEN REINSTALL THE FUSE. WELL THIS WORKED AND IS A KNOWN ISSUE BY CHEVROLET WHO WON'T ISSUE A RECALL FOR A FAULTY DASH CLUSTER.

DASHBOARD CRACKED AT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG PANEL
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET TAHOE. IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, WATER ENTERED FROM THE REAR DOORS AND LEAKED INTO THE REAR DOOR PANELING. AS THE FAILURE PROGRESSED, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE OF WATER MOVING AROUND WITHIN THE REAR DOOR PANELING. MULTIPLE DEALERS WERE NOTIFIED. THE DEALER INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS A KNOWN ISSUE, BUT THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT ISSUED A RECALL TO PROVIDE A SOLUTION. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS WAITING FOR A SOLUTION. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
DASH IS CRACKING OVER STEERING WHEEL TOWARDS PASSENGER SIDE.
THE DASH CRACKED IN SEVERAL PLACES WITH FEAR OF IT COLLAPSING. THIS HAPPENED SHORTLY AFTER THE WARRANTY RAN OUT
DASH CRACKING IN CORNER OF PASSENGER AIR BAG. CREATES POTENTIAL HAZARD THAT MAY AFFECT SAFE OPERATION OF THE AIRBAG IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.
DASH BOARD CRACK IN HUMP ABOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL.
DASH BOARD IS CRACKED OVER THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. I AM CONCERNED THE AIRBAG WILL SHRED PIECES OF THE DASHBOARD INTO MY TRUCK CABIN CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. THE PLASTIC USED FOR THIS DASH IS VERY FLIMSY, THIN, AND CHEAP, YET THE COST TO REPLACE AND REPAIR IS OVER 1,000! RIDICULOUS. AT ALMOST 50,000 DOLLARS NEW, CHEVROLET SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS INVESTMENT, AND NHTSA SHOULD ENSURE OUR SAFETY WITH THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. MY 2013 CHEVY TAHOE HAS ONLY 50,000 MILES AND IS GARAGE KEPT. I USE A REFLECTOR IN THE WINDSHIELD DAILY WHEN AT WORK.
THE DASHBOARD CRACKED FROM THE CORNER OF THE AIRBAG IN FRONT OF THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT AND IS SINKING BELOW THE AIRBAG. THE CAR WAS STATIONARY.
WHILE DRIVING AROUND 60 MPH THE CAR DOES A MASSIVE SHAKE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, STABILIZATION TURNS OFF, TRACTION CONTROLS TURNS OFF AND ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED FIRST TO 10MPH AND COULD NOT GET MORE THAN 30MPH. I WAS ALMOST HIT BY AN 18 WHEELER DUE TO MY SUDDEN STOP. THE SUV IS NOW IN ENGINE POWER REDUCED MODE.
CRACK ACROSS THE DASHBOARD AND AIRBAGS. WHICH IF AIRBAG DEPLOYS COULD SEND HARMFUL CHUNKS OF PLASTIC THROUGH THE CABIN. TURNED ON VEHICLE ONE DAY AND HEARD A POP.
THE VEHICLE DASHBOARD HAS CRACKED IN SEVERAL PLACES TO INCLUDE THE AREA SURROUNDING THE PASSENGER AIRBAG, AND NEAR THE STEERING COLUMN. IN THE EVENT OF A VEHICLE CRASH WITH AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT, THE DASHBOARD COULD FRAGMENT AND BECOME A HAZARDOUS PROJECTILE.

DASHBOARD IS CRACKING. ONLY 3 YEARS OLD, 70000 MILES WHEN NOTICED. NEVER HAD A VEHICLE DO THIS BEFORE. THE CRACK TODAY IS ON THE DASH AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE PASSENGER AIRBAG
WE BOUGHT A 2013 CHEVY TAHOE IN JAN 2016 WITH JUST UNDER 30,000 MILES WITH CERTIFIED WARRANTY. MY DASH STARTED CRACKING AT THE DRIVER SIDE AND AT THE PASSENGER FRONT DASH AIRBAG, WE TOOK IT BACK TO FRANKLIN CHEVROLET IN STATESBORO, GA. WELL UNDER 48,000 MILES TO LET THEM KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, THE SERVICE MANAGER [XXX] TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT THE DASH WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY AND DID NOT ASK TO LOOK AT IT TO SEE IF IT WAS SOMETHING THAT NEEDED TO BE ADDRESSED. I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL CASES ON THESE ISSUE, I'D LIKE TO HAVE THE PROBLEM TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE IT CRACKS MORE AND THE AIRBAG START HAVING ISSUES SINCE IT'S CRACKING AT THE DASH WHERE THE AIRBAG IS AT, IT'S MAKING NOISES EVERY TIME I DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD AND PRETTY SURE IT'S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE OVER TIME. CRACK IN DASHBOARD THAT LEADS TO THE AIRBAG AND MAIN CONTROLS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND LOST POWER AS IF IT WOULD STALL WITHOUT WARNING. THE AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE RADIO POWERED ON AND OFF. THE DOORS LOCKED AND UNLOCKED ON THEIR OWN. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER, WAITED A FEW MINUTES, AND PROCEEDED TO DRIVE. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
MY WIFE AND I BOUGHT A VEHICLE FROM CARDENAS SUPERSTORE IN PHARR, TX. WE'VE BEEN TO THEM 4 TIMES, IN WHICH THEY'VE SENT OUR TAHOE TO THE LOCAL GM/CHEVROLET DEALER IN OUR AREA. GENERALLY, WHEN THE WEATHER IS WARM, STABILITRAK AND TRACTION CONTROL WILL DISABLE AND WE WILL SEE A SERIES OF WARNING LIGHTS. THE ABS WARNING LIGHT WILL GO OFF, THE AIR CONDITIONER TEMPERATURE WILL RISE TO A WARM TEMP, THE LOCKS WILL START UNLOCKING AND LOCKING RANDOMLY, HARD TRANSMISSION JERKS BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND GEAR, AND LITTLE POWER WHEN TRYING TO INCREASE SPEED. THE FIRST TIME WE WENT, THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM. THE SECOND TIME WE WENT, THEY CLEAN OUT ALL THE FUEL MODULES, THE THIRD TIME THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. AND FINALLY, ON THE FOURTH TRY, THE DEALER COULDN'T FIND ANY ISSUES SO THEY PUT DI-ELECTRIC GREASE ON SOME OF THE WIRING. TWO DAYS LATER IT STARTED ACTING UP AGAIN. A REASON THEY MAY HAVE TROUBLE FINDING ANY ISSUES IS THAT AFTER THE VEHICLE IS OFF FOR SOME TIME, IT WILL START UP AND RUN WITHOUT ANY ISSUE. I'VE MANAGED TO GET IT OVER TO THE LOCAL AUTOZONE WHILE ALL THE PANEL WAS GOING OFF, AND POWER LOSS, AND THEY MENTIONED A FEW POSSIBLE ISSUES. THE VEHICLES VOLTAGE REGULATOR MAY BE BAD, AS WELL AS LOSS OF COMMUNICATION FROM THE ECM AND MANY SENSORS(FUEL PUMP, TRANSMISSION, ETC...). WE ARE LUCKY THAT WE BOUGHT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE VEHICLE OR THIS COULD HAVE BECOME VERY COSTLY FOR US. BUT NONE THE LESS, SAFETY IS OF A CONCERN WHEN DRIVING THE TAHOE. CRACKED DASHBOARD. MY TAHOE IS ALWAYS IN A GARAGE AT WORK AND AT HOME. IT IS BARELY 3 YEARS OLD. DEALERSHIP WILL NOT HELP OR REPLACE. THE CRACK IS CONNECTED TO THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG. IT LOOKS HORRIBLE.
TRANSMISSION BROKE IT FRONT PUMP WILL NOT MOVE IT HAS 93079 MILES.
DASH CRACKED IN 3 LOCATIONS. ONE OF THE CRACKS INVOLVE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. CRACK WAS DISCOVERED WHILE STATIONARY IN DRIVEWAY.
SPARE TIRE WHEEL DIAMETER IS SMALLER THAN THE DIAMETER OF THE FOUR WHEELS ON THE VEHICLE. THE FOUR MAIN WHEELS HAVE 18" WHEELS. THE SPARE TIRE WHEEL IS A 17" DIAMETER. IF THE SPARE TIRE IS USED ON THE REAR DRIVE WHEELS, THE SMALLER SPARE WHEEL WOULD TURN AT A FASTER RPM THAN THE REGULAR TIRE. IS THIS PERMITTED? SEEMS DANGEROUS TO ME.
THE DASHBOARD HAS CRACKED NEXT TO THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG DECREASING STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE DASH AND INCREASING THE RISK OF PLASTIC SHARDS BEING EJECTED AT THE PASSENGER DURING AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. MANUFACTURER IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND REFUSES TO REPLACE DASHBOARD. VEHICLE IS ON 3 YEARS OLD
CRACKED DASHBOARD. THIS STARTED AS A SMALL PROBLEM A YEAR AGO WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY $1600 TO GET IT REPLACED. THE FOUR CRACKS CONTINUE TO GET BIGGER AND NEITHER THE DEALERSHIP NOR MANUFACTURER WILL RECOGNIZE IT FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN COSMETIC DAMAGE I NEED TO FIX EVEN THOUGH I DID NOTHING TO CAUSE THIS DAMAGE. I CAN HEAR THE CRACK CONTINUE TO GET BIGGER BOTH WHEN IT'S PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY AND DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IN ALL CONDITIONS.
CRACKED DASHBOARDS. MY CAR HAS 11K MILES, I BOUGHT IT WITH 6K MILES AND HAVE OWNED IT FOR 4 MONTHS AND NOTICED THE OTHER DAY THAT THE DASHBOARD HAS A GIANT CRACK ACROSS IT NOT DUE TO ANY IMPACT.
THIS 2013 CHEVROLET TAHOE WAS PURCHASED IN AUGUST 2013. THE CHROME DOOR HANDLE ON THE PASSENGER FRONT DOOR JUST CAME OFF IN MY HAND AND HAD TO BE REPLACED IN AUGUST 2015. IN FEBRUARY 2016 THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT DOOR HANDLE BROKE OFF AND ALSO HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND I WAS ATTEMPTING TO OPEN AN UNLOCKED DOOR FROM THE EXTERIOR. I WAS TOLD THE CHROME DOOR HANDLES HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH BEING DEFECTIVE. ARE THERE ANY RECALLS, WHAT CAN I DO REGARDING REOCCURRING EXPENSES FOR REPAIRS ?
DASH IS CRACKING AROUND PASSENGER AIRBAG. VEHICLE IS GARAGE KEPT AND A SUN VISOR USED WHEN PARKED IN THE SUN. THIS VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN IN A COLLISION AND NONE OF THE AIR BAGS HAVE EVER DEPLOYED IN THIS VEHICLE. THE CRACK SEEMS COSMETIC BUT GIVEN THE LOCATION, I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE INTEGRITY OF THE AIR BAG ASSEMBLY
EXCESSIVE RUSTING AND CORROSION OF FRAME.
DASHBOARD CRACKING IN TWO AREAS, ONE STEMMING FROM PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG AREA AND THE OTHER COMING UP TOWARD THE STEERING WHEEL ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. THIS STARTED JUST PAST THE 3 YEAR MARK, SO IS OUT OF WARRANTY. MY CONCERN IS WHETHER IT COULD IMPACT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE AIRBAG, AND/OR THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY DURING ANY POTENTIAL IMPACT OR CRASH.
THIS IS A SERIES OF CRACK ON THE FRONT DASHBOARD. STARTED FROM THE COWLING OVER INSTRUMENT PANELS AND HAS SPREAD TO A SECTION BY THE PASSENGER AIRBAG. THERE HAVE BEEN A NUMBER OF GM VEHICLES WITH THIS SAME DASHBOARD CRACKING BUT GM DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT. I'M ONLY A LITTLE OVER 50K MILES.

DASHBOARD CRACKED AND ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP THIS IS DIE TO A PLASTIC DEFECT IN THE CHEVROLET TAHOE AND THAT GMC KNOWS ABOUT IT BUT WO'NT REPAIR IT. MAY HAVE AN IMPACT OF WHETHER THE AIRBAG WILL WORK.
CRACKED DASHBOARDS. HAD TO HAVE ENTIRE DASHBOARD REPLACED.
THE PASSENGERS SIDE FRONT DOOR HANDLE LITERALLY FELL OFF WHEN OPENING THE DOOR. WAS OUT OF WARRANTY DUE TO MILEAGE. HAD TO PAY $250 TO REPLACE. THE PASSENGER DOOR IS NOT USED DAILY, AND WAS NOT BEING PULLED HARD, WAS BEING OPENED BY A 50+ YEAR OLD WITH AVERAGE TORQUE FOR THAT AGE.
CRACKED DASH DASH IS CRACKED IN THE AREA OF THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. THIS POSES A SAFETY CONCERN IN THE EVENT OF AN AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AS FRAGMENTS OF BROKEN DASH WOULD BECOME PROJECTILES WITHIN THE CAB OF THE VEHICLE
THE ENTIRE FRAME AND ALL SUPPORTING BOLTS OF THE VEHICLE IS RUSTING AND ROTTING.
