Additionally, the contact reported that the rear of the vehicle lifted significantly and made a popping sound while driving. The vehicle was driven to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle with brake line failures, ABS malfunction, and severe structural deterioration of the undercarriage and the sub frame. The contact had recently purchased the vehicle and was informed that the vehicle was in good condition. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 109,124.
The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the windshield wipers activated unintendedly, and the washer fluid was continuously sprayed on the windshield. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, where it was diagnosed with the windshield wiper control module failure. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 04V046000 (Visibility), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was filed, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 151,000.
My airbags didn’t go off in crash
Fuel gauge intermittently reports empty when vehicle was just fully filled with fuel
The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the seat belt pretensioner needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 186,228.
The airbags failed to deploy In a significant collision where hood, radiator, grill/number and both headlights were damaged. GM has been contacted and fail and refuse to do an inspection stating the issue is time barred to 10 years to original warranty of vehicle and are failing to acknowledge manufacturer defect or issue a recall. There were no warning signs/lights prior to notify that the airbags would fail to deploy in an accident. The vehicle has not inspected, even a request has been made on multiple occasions, with getting the runaround and claim closed. The lack of safety puts other drivers/owners of the 2005 Trailblazer and or similar vehicles at risk, at time they will need it the most to find out airbags are defective and will not work. Injuries and lives are at risk only for GM to run a cover up and not stand up to do what is right. Police report number [XXX] Adams Co Sheriff's Office, could not upload. FOR SEVERAL YEARS THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WOULD GO OFF AND ON INTERMITTENTLY. NOW, THEY ARE MOSTLY OFF WHICH MEANS I CANNOT DRIVE MY VEHICLE AT NIGHT ANYMORE UNLESS I WANT TO BLIND PEOPLE OR GET STOPPED. I HAVE CHANGED HEADLAMPS, RELAYS AND FUSES TO NO AVAIL. NOW, I SEE THAT MANY OTHERS WITH THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL SUV HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME ISSUE BUT NO RECALLS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS YEAR MODEL. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WHEN WE HAVE TO DRIVE WITH THE HIGH BEAMS ON AND WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OFF UNEXPECTEDLY. IF YOU WILL ISSUE A RECALL FOR ONE YEAR MODEL HAVING A PARTICULAR ISSUE, WHY WOULD YOU NOT DO THE SAME WITH ALL YEAR MODELS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE? COME ON CHEVROLET AND NHTSA, LET'S GET THIS PROBLEM SOLVED TO SAVE SOME LIVES. IT IS VERY SCARY TO BE DRIVING AND HAVE YOUR HEADLIGHTS GO OUT AND A MAJOR PAIN TO HAVE TO BE SURE YOU ARE HOME BY DARK OR NOT BE ABLE TO GO OUT AFTER DARK BECAUSE YOUR HEADLAMPS ARE OR MAY STOP WORKING.

The contact stated she fell asleep while driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle graced two trees, and crashed into the third tree on the front driver-side bumper. The contact stated no air bags were deployed. The contact sustained a fractured rib on her left side, a lesion on her right leg, and a lesion on her chest and abdomen due to the seat belt. The contact did seek medical attention. The police report was filed. The vehicle was not drivable. The police towed the vehicle to a towing lot. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 205,000.
MY 15 YR OLD DRIVER IN TRAINING,, was leaving town with myself and her father the engine just stopped running causing us to lose all movement of car had to coast to the side of highway { busy with semis} had to call tow truck to come get it ,, it wouldn't start after trying a few times . and also the seat belts lock tight and will not give when pulled on them leaving you strapped tight in the seat you have to unhook them to release them .. very uncomfortable when you traveling

The fire started in the engine compartment. The fire department was contacted and arrived and extinguished the fire. The contact was unaware if a fire report was filed. The vehicle was towed from the scene to a holding lot. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted or notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage 63,000.
The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH with a fully loaded pull behind 6X12 U-Haul trailer hitched to the vehicle on the highway, a tractor trailer drove by at 70 MPH, and the wake turbulence from the tractor trailer caused the U-Haul trailer to fishtail, the vehicle and trailer did a 180-degree skid, spun around, and then jackknifed; causing damages to the U-Haul trailer and the vehicle. There were no injuries sustained. The contact was concerned about the safety of the design of the U-Haul trailer. The contact stated that the U-Hauler trailer was not designed with the proper wheel and axle configuration which caused the trailer to be unsafe while driving over bumps or depressions on the roadway. The contact stated that he was advised by the South Carolina State Patrol to file a Collision Report. The contact had not yet contacted U-Haul to report the failure. The vehicle was still drivable and was driven to the residence. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The vehicle manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 208,000.
Rear frame rail rust through at control arm mount locations on both driver and passenger side. In addition frame from suspension mount forward approx 2feet rust through. Vehicle was kept washed and has no other rust issues except for frame. I’ve learned that this was an issue from 2003 to 2008 model years. This issue has been checked and verified thru a reputable garage
My husband was entering the highway and upon acceleration from roughly 35mph to roughly around 50mph (while taking the entrance slight right) all of the air bags deployed
My lights come on and turns off at night sometimes and now My right low beams stopped working. I noticed when I was getting in my car at night.
THE GAUGES DON'T WORK PROPERLY AND WHEN THE GAUGES ARE TAPPED THE TRAILBLAZER STALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON A HIGHWAY.
I OWN A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER (BOUGHT NEW) WITH APPROXIMATELY 79,000 MILES. THE FUEL GAUGE LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED INDICATING I AM LOW ON FUEL HOWEVER MY GAS TANK IS FULL. I NOTICED THE PROBLEM AFTER FILLING MY TANK (NO LIGHT ON AT THE TIME). AFTER FILLING THE TANK, THE FUEL LIGHT CAME ON AND THE GAS GAUGE BOUNCED BACK AND FORTH FROM QUARTER TANK TO HALF TANK AND NOW THE LIGHT STAYS ON WITH GAUGE SHOWING EMPTY. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE OR RECOMMEND ANY POSSIBLE ACTION TO TAKE.
LIGHTS GO ON AND OFF SETTING STILL
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AT NIGHT MY DIM LIGHTS WENT COMPLETELY OUT AND WOULD NOT COME BACK ON. I HAD TO DRIVE THE REMAINDER OF THE WAY WITH MY BRIGHT LIGHTS BLINDING CARS IN FRONT OF ME AND IN COMING. SINCE THE FIRST INCIDENT THIS HAS CONTINUED TO HAPPEN.
FUEL GAUGE DROPS TO EMPTY CONSTANTLY, EVEN WHERE THERE IS HALF A TANK. ONLY 5-10% OF THE TIME IT SHOWS HOW MUCH FUEL THERE REALLY IS. THIS HAPPENS WHILE TRAVELING AND WHILE STOPPED.
MOST RECENT, I AM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD MY HEAD LIGHTS GO OUT. NOTHING ELSE, JUST THE MAIN HEAD LIGHTS. ALL.OTJER LIGHTS STAY ON. HIGH BEAMS WORK, PARKING LIGHTS STAY ON. THIS IS NOT SAFE!!!
CHECKING FOR RECALLED AIRBAG
I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY GOING STRAIGHT NO TURNS IN MY 05 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER GOING ABOUT 60MPH AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I HEARD A LOW CLICK SOUND AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO ACCELERATE OR KEEP MY CURRENT SPEED IT WAS BEYOND UNSAFE SO I PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY ENGINE RUNNING STILL I PUT IT IN EVERY GEAR TO SEE IF IT WOULD MOVE IT DID NOT I TRIED R,D,3,2&1 GEARS AND THE TRUCK ONLY REV'D UP AND DID NOT MOVE .IT WAS NO SIGNS OF THE TRANSMISSION GOING OUT OR GOING BAD IT STILL SHIFTED SMOOTH IT JUST WENT OUT ALL OF A SUDDEN ON THE HIGHWAY WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS I FEEL LIKE THE TRANSMISSION HAS TO BE CHEAPLY MADE .
THE GAS GAUGE SHOWS EMPTY EVEN AFTER THE TANK IS FILLED. OTHER 2005 TRAILBLAZER MODELS HAVE HAD A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE REGARDING THE GAS GAUGE AND SENSOR BUT MY MODEL DID NOT. IT ALSO CAUSES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON AFTER PUTTING FUEL IN THE GAS TANK. THE GAS GAUGE SHOWS EMPTY AT ALL TIMES ( WHEN YOUR MOVING, AND STATIONARY). NOT ACCURATELY KNOWING HOW MUCH GAS IS THE VEHICLE CAN CAUSE YOU TO STALL OUT WHILE ON CITY STREETS OR ON THE HIGHWAY DRIVING 60 MPH.

I HAVE MY BRIGHT LIGHTS,BUT I DONT HAVE MY REGULAR HEADLIGHTS,SOMTIMES THEY COME ON THEN THEY GO OUT,IVE CHANGED THE MODULE UNDER THE HOOD & IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING,IT HAPPENS WHEN IM GOING DOWN THE ROAD
LUCKY TO BE ALIVE. ON 4 14 2019 WHILE DRIVING 65MPH ON 101 FREEWAY IN THOUSAND OAKS CALIFORNIA, A PICKUP TRUCK VEERED INTO MY LANE. WHEN I MOVED OVER TO AVOID THE PICKUP BOTH SIDE AIRBAGS WENT OFF WITH A BANG FILLING CAR WITH POWDERY CLOUD. MY LEFT EAR POPPED FROM THE LOUD BANG BUT I WAS ABLE TO GET OFF ON THE SHOULDER. CALLED 911 AND CA HIGHWAY PATROL CAME OUT AND DID A REPORT. BOTH OFFICERS HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. THERE WAS NO IMPACT TO THE CAR AND THE CHP TOOK MULTIPLE PICTURES OF THE EXTERIOR. MILAGE ON THE CAR AT TIME OF ACCIDENT WAS 117,873 . CHP CUTAWAY THE AIRBAGS AND MY FATHER CAME OUT AND DROVE IT HOME AND THEN TO AUTO SHOP TO EVALUATE. SEAT BELT ALSO STOPPED WORKING NOW THAT AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. REALLY TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE.

THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH TOM GILL CHEVROLET (7830 COMMERCE DR, FLORENCE, KY 41042, (859) 371-7566). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,800. *TT CONSUMER STATED HE READ ON THE INTERNET THAT THERE WAS A RECALL IN 2006 OTHER PEOPLE HAD SAME PROBLEM, HIS WAS ON 2005.*JB
THE SPEEDOMETER ISN'T WORKING. I'VE BEEN HEARING HOW COMMON THIS ISSUE IS. EVERY NOW AND THEN IT WILL JUMP TO A RANDOM SPOT WHEN I START THE VEHICLE AND STAY THERE. BUT IT NEVER MOVES WHILE DRIVING
IN MOTION OR PARKED MY SPEED AND MY TAC JUST STOP AT RANDOM NUMBERS. I HAVE TO SHUT MY CAR OFF IF MY SPEED IS STUCK. EVERYTIME I DO THIS MY SPEED DROPS 5 MPH SO IF I'M STUCK AT 20 I HAVE TO DO THIS 4 TIMES JUST TO GET BACK TO 0 MPH I HAVE CALLED CHEVY . THEY TOLD ME IT WILL COST ME OVER $800 TO FIX THIS. KINDA STRANGE THE RECALL DOAENT EFFECT ONLY THE TRAILBLAZERS DON'T YOU THINK. I HAVE BEEN IN THE AUTOMOTIVE FEIOD FOR OVER 10 YEARS NOW AND I KNOW ALOT OF CHEVY HAVE HAD THIS RECALL SO IT'S TIME FOR YOU GUYS ACT.
VEHICLE PURCHASED 2008. IT HAD 35,412 MI. IN 2011 THE VEHICLE WOULD HAVE A ROUGH IDLE AND STALL IN TRAFFIC. SOMETIMES AS MANY AS 3 TIMES ON A SIX MILE ROUND TRIP. ALWAYS WOULD STALL DRIVING AROUND TOWN. I HAD REPLACED CAM VRR TEMP SENSOR FUEL THROTTLE. ALL COILS PLUGS WATER PUMP BATTERY MOTOR SUPPORTS BELT WINDSHIELD WASHER BOTTLE AND MOTORS FLUSH FUEL LINES. WHEEL HUBS AND BEARING ROUNDS CRANKSHAFT AND POWER STEERING PULLEY POWER STEERING PUMP OIL CHANGES 2500 TO 3000 MILES SYNTHETIC OIL. ALL FLUIDS CHANGED AND FLUSH REAR DIFFERENTIAL TRANSMISSION SHIFTER CABLE. SEVERAL DIAGNOSTICS AT CHEVROLET. LEFT THERE THEY DROVE IT CUT OFF ONCE. FINALLY, I KEPT WATCHING GAUGES OIL PRESSURE DROPPED 44 TO ZERO. CAR CUT OFF RECTANGLES IT PULLED OVER WAIT 30 MINS. NO OIL ON DIP STICK. CALLED FIRESTONE TOOK IT THERE. OIL SENDING UNIT DEFECTIVE. CHANGED ALL OIL. THEY FOUND IT. THIS WAS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE OVER SEVERAL YEARS FOR ME. AFRAID GET RUN OVER BY TRUCK. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT CUT OFF ONE TIME. I REPORTED TO CHEVROLET. PUT IN BANK THERE. PLEASE CHECK OIL SENDING UNIT. SEEN NUMEROUS TRAILBLAZERS WITH THIS ISSUE. ON THE WEB.
SPEEDOMETER FIRST SHOWED SPEED OF 60 WHEN SITTING STILL. I TURNED OFF THE ENGINE, RESTARTING IT 3 TIMES AND THE SPEEDOMETER RESET. BUT A FEW DAYS LATER IT ONCE AGAIN STUCK AND I HAD JUST STARTED IT. THIS TIME AT 48 AT ALL TIMES WHETHER THE ENGINE IS ON OR OFF, IDLING OF TRAVELING. IT CONTINUES TO BE STUCK AT 48 AT ALL TIMES, NEVER DECREASING OR INCREASING.
I AM EXPERIENCING ALL ISSUES IDENTIFIED WITH RECALL DUE TO DOOR SWITCH SENSOR BEING DEFECTIVE. INTERMITTENT WORKING OF DOOR LOCKS NOT LOCKING OR LOCKING AND WON'T UNLOCK . WINDOWS WON'T WORK SOMETIMES, AND SOMETIMES THEY WILL . LIGHTS WON'T SHUT OFF IN INTERIOR, OR WON'T GO ON . DELAY FEATURE WHERE RADIO , AND OTHER FEATURES STAY ON AFTER TURNING IGNITION OFF , AND STILL IN VEHICLE WON'T WORK , AND SOMETIMES DO WORK . THESE THINGS HAPPEN WHEN VEHICLE IS EITHER MOVING, OR NOT MOVING IN PARK . THEY HAPPEN BOTH CITY DRIVING, AND HIGHWAY AS WELL. ALL OF THESE CRAZY ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS BEGAN SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, AND WHEN IN THE VEHICLE AND I AM IN PARK, AND SHUT OFF IGNITION, AND THE DOORS WON'T UNLOCK, THE KEY FOB WON'T WORK TO UNLOCK DOORS EITHER, AND I AM TRAPPED INSIDE VEHICLE UNTIL SOMEONE IS CLOSE ENOUGH TO HEAR ME YELLING FOR HELP, AND CAN HAND THEM MY KEYS OUT OF SUNROOF IN ORDER TO PUT IT INTO LOCK ON THE DOOR AND MANUALLY UNLOCK THE DOOR. I ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS FIXED BECAUSE NOBODY NEAR MY RESIDENCE TO EITHER LET ME OUT OF VEHICLE, OR TO CALL . CLOSEST PERSON I CAN CALL IS OVER AN HOUR AWAY . I AM ON DISABILITY OF 720.00 A MONTH AND CAN'T AFFORD THIS REPAIR .
BOTH HEADLAMPS WENT OUT SAME NIGHT. HIGH BEAMS WORK. CHECKED FUSES ALL ARE FINE. VERY DANGEROUS AS HIGH BEAMS ARE NOT MEANT TO BE USED IN THIS FASHION. I SEE THERE ARE RECALLS ON SAME MODEL OTHER YEARS.
LEAVING FROM WORK AT NIGHT AND WHEN CAR INITIALLY WAS TURNED ON, THE LOW BEAMS ILLUMINATED, BUT THEN WENT OFF. I HAD TO DRIVE HOME USING FOG LAMPS AND HIGH BEAMS ONLY. THEY NEVER DID COME ON IN A 25 MINUTE DRIVE. I SEE THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MAKE AND MODEL, AND IT APPEARS THAT THE 2006 ARE IN A RECALL FOR THIS, BUT NOT THE 2005. VERY UNSAFE! MY KIDS ARE SUPPOSED TO DRIVE THIS CAR, BUT NOW I'M NOT SO SURE!
WHEN LEAVING WORK AT NIGHT ON 8/21/18, STARTED THE CAR AND THE LOW BEAMS CAME ON, AND THEN IMMEDIATELY WENT OFF. THEY WOULD NOT COME BACK ON. HAD TO DRIVE HOME USING THE FOG LIGHTS AND HIGH BEAMS. HAVE ONLY HAD THIS CAR FOR A WEEK. DOESN'T SEEM SAFE. SEE THAT LOTS OF TRAILBLAZERS HAVE THIS ISSUE. LOOKS LIKE RECALL BEGINS WITH THE 2006 FOR THIS SAME ISSUE.
DRIVING IN CITY SPEEDOMOTER QUIT WORKING PROPERLY. DONT KNOW WHAT SPEED IS WHILE DRIVING CAR HAS 33000 MILES, HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN IN 3 YEARS AS IT WAS MY FATHERS AND HE NO LONGER DRIVES AS HE IS 97 YEARS OLD
DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS WILL NOT WORK. LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WILL NOT TURN ON AT NIGHT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED TO 30 MPH AND SHUT DOWN AT A SLIGHT ELEVATION. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED TWO DAYS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED FROM AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MECHANIC AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD BE PICKED UP FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CALLED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 173,000.
OUR VEHICLE DIED AT A TURN SIGNAL LIGHT IN A DANGEROUS INTERSECTION. NO WARNING FROM THE VEHICLE AS IT WAS RUNNING NORMAL. IT WOULD TURN OVER BUT NO START. POLICE FORCE A TOW OUT OF THE BUSY INTERSECTION RIGHT AWAY. IT STARTS UP AT THE MECHANICS. THEY TESTED FUEL FILTER AND OTHER STUFF. WE GET ON THE HIGHWAY IN TRAFFIC AND GET 6 MILES OUT AND NO WARNING WE DIE AND HAD TO PUSH THE CAR TO THE SHOULDER ON IN DANGEROUS CONDITIONS. SIT FOR 2 HOURS AND IT FIRES UP. SO WE FOUND SHADE AND WAITED FOR COOL DOWN. 2 HOURS AWAY FROM HOME AND IT TOOK US 9 HOURS TO GET HOME. WE DROVE IT TO THE STORE AND WHEN WE WERE DONE SHOPPING IT FIRED UP. WENT AROUND THE CORNER TO OTHER STORE AND SHOPPED 2 HOURS AND CAME OUT AND IT WOULD TURN AND NO START. TRIED STARTING EVERY 30 MINUTES TO HOUR FROM 9:30PM TO 1:40AM AND THEN IT FIRED RIGHT UP THEN DROVE 30 MINUTES TO HOME. AFTER RESEARCHING AND FINDING QUITE A FEW WITH SAME YEAR MAKE AND MODEL HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WE FOUND THAT IT IS THE PWR/TRN RELAY PLUG IN AREA IN THE FUSE RELAY CENTER. WHEN WE BROKE THE PLASTIC OFF THE RELAY AND WRAPPED A RUBBER BAND AROUND IT SO IT'S CONSTANT CONTACT AND PLUG IT IN, IT WILL FIRE UP EVERY TIME. I CAN DRIVE IT ALL DAY LIKE THAT WITH NO ISSUES. I HAVE TO TURN THE KEY FROM RUNNING TO ACCESSORY MODE THEN REMOVE THE RUBBER BAND AND THEN POWER OFF THE CAR. DON'T WANT TO FRY COM. THE RELAYS ARE GOOD AND PROBLEM IS THE FUSE RELAY CENTER. CHEVROLET SAID THEMSELVES THAT THIS MODEL IS NOTORIOUS FOR FUSE RELAY CENTER PROBLEMS AND USUALLY REQUIRE REPLACEMENT. IT'S A KNOWN DEFECT. THERE ARE TWO PICTURES ATTACHED FROM ONE OF THE OTHER PEOPLE WITH SAME VEHICLE SAME PROBLEM AND IN ORDER TO MAKE HIS FUSE RELAY CENTER WORK PROPERLY HE HAD TO WIRE/REROUTE HIS PWR/TRN RELAY AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE. THIS NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AS THIS IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE WITH CHEVROLET AND THE TRAILBLAZER.

HEAD LIGHTS VERY DIM ON DRIVING ALSO I HAVE REPLACED ON THIS VEHICLE THE FUEL THROTTLE AND SENSOR, A CRANK SENSOR A CAM SENSOR, A TEMP SENSOR 4 POWER STEERING PUMPS NEW THE POWER STEERING RACK AND ASSEMBLY WHEEL HUBS AND BEARINGS, ALL NEW COILS SPARK PLUGS, BELT IDLE PULLEY POWER STEERING PULLEY CHANGE OIL EVERY 3,000 MILES AIR FILTER CHANGE BATTERY, UPDATED SOFT WARE, FLUSH FUEL SYSTEM, SERVICE THE AIR CONDITION REPLACED REAR SHOCKS, GM RELACED PULLEY ON ENGINE 2010 REPLACED THE PVC HOSE FLUSH RADIATOR AND BRAKE SYSTEM, ROTATION AND ALIGNMENT DONE EVERY 5000 MILES, REPLACED HEADLIGHT LOW BEAM BULBS AND LEFT TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND LENS, I HAD IT TO CHEVROLET PRIVATE MECHANIC GARAGE AND NOTHING IS READING WRONG ALSO NOTICE THE ECM NOT STORING THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT STAY A MICROSECOND ON. THIS HIGHLY DANGEROUS CAN STAL OR QUIT AND BE RUN OVER ON HIGHWAY. I NOTICED ON THE WEB ON CARS COMPLAINT.COM AMANY PEOPLE HAVE CMPLAINTED THIS ISSUE.CHEVROLET HAD INVESTIGATED THS ISSUE AAAAAND NO RESOLVE. I FELT THE VEHIHICLE MAY HAVE A SHORT R A BAD ALTERNATOR OR STARTER. .VEHIVLE WAS SITTING AT INTERSECTION I NOTICED IT TRIES TO STALL ON DRIVING ALSO. ALL RECORDS ARE WITH CAR.
THE HEADLIGHTS GO OFF AFTER A WHILE OF USE AS IF THE OVER HEAT AND GO OFF ONCE THEY COOL OFF THEY COME BACK ON BUT THEY GO OFF AFTER ABOUT 15 MINS OF USE. ONLY THE BRIGHTS WILL WORK AT THIS TIME. SO NOT ONLY IS IT A SAFETY HAZARD TO ME THAT MY LIGHTS JUST GO OFF OUT OF NOWHERE THEN I HAVE TO TURN MY BRIGHTS ON WHICH IS A SAFETY HAZARD TO OTHER PEOPLE AND AGAINST THE WALL YOU HAVE A RECALL ON THE 2006 MODEL FOR THE SAME PROBLEM WHY WOULD YOU NOT HAVE THE RECALL ON THE 2005 MODEL THAT OBVIOUSLY HAS THE SAME ISSUE THEY GO OFF ON BACK ROADS THEY GO OFF ON THE HIGHWAY THEY GO OFF IN THE CITY THEY GO OFF IN THE COUNTRY THEY GO OFF ANYWHERE THAT I'M DRIVING ANYTIME THAT THE HEADLIGHTS ARE ON THAT WILL GO OFF AFTER ABOUT 15 MINUTES OF USE WHETHER THE CAR IS BEING DRIVEN OR IT IS STATIONARY. THIS IMHAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR FOR MANY YEARS BUT I JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT IT FOR MYSELF AND I FEEL IT'S AN ISSUE THAT YOU ALL SHOULD RESOLVE I HAVE LOOKED ONLINE AND THERE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE
TAKATA RECALL ALL THE GAUGES ON MY TRAILBLAZER HAVE STOPPED WORKING EXCEPT THE GAS AND TEMPERATURE GAUGE. WHILE I WAS DRIVING 2 WEEKS AGO ON THE HIGHWAY MY GAUGES JUST QUIT WORKING AND THE NEEDLES DROPPED TO THE BOTTOM.
CONTROL PANEL ON DRIVERS DOOR IS NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL, DURING A HEAVY RAINSTORM I GOT OUT OF MY TRUCK, CLOSED THE DOOR AND RAN TO MY HOUSE. THE NEXT DAY THE CONTROLS NO LONGER WORKED. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE LEFT MY VEHICLE WHILE RAINING BUT THE FIRST TIME THE CONTROLS STOPPED WORKING. THIS WAS A RECALL ITEM IN OTHER YEARS 2006-2007. CHERY DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THIS BEING THE SAME ISSUE IN THE 2005 MODEL. CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER RECALL - #13V248000. FLUID MAY ENTER THE DRIVER'S DOOR MODULE, CAUSING CORROSION THAT COULD RESULT IN A SHORT IN THE CIRCUIT BOARD. A SHORT MAY CAUSE THE POWER DOOR LOCK AND POWER WINDOW SWITCHES TO FUNCTION INTERMITTENTLY OR BECOME INOPERATIVE. THE SHORT MAY ALSO CAUSE OVERHEATING, WHICH COULD MELT COMPONENTS OF THE DOOR MODULE, PRODUCING ODOR, SMOKE, OR A FIRE.
WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT I HAVE AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WHERE THE HEADLAMP LOW BEAMS JUST GO OUT. I HAVE MOVED RELAYS AROUND BUT IT DOESN'T CORRECT THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN STOPPED BY POLICE SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE I AM BLINDING OTHER DRIVERS BECAUSE I HAVE TO DRIVE WITH BRIGHTS LIT. I SEE THEY RECALLED THE 2006 AND LATER MODELS FOR THIS PROBLEM. I WORK AT A SHOP AND WE SEE , ON AVERAGE, 10 PER YEAR THAT ARE 2005 AND THAT'S JUST IN OUR SMALL COMMUNITY. IF I SET A HALF HOUR, SOMETIMES AN HOUR THEN THE DIMS START WORKING AGAIN. THE MOST RECENT TIME WAS MAY 5TH OF 2018
VEHICLE ENGINE STALLS WHILE DRIVING. THE CAR SHUTS OFF WITHOUT WARNING. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND NOT SAFE! I SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND WHEN I WAS ABLE TO GET IT OFF THE HIGHWAY, IT STOPPED IN THE CITY. REPLACED THE ELECTRICAL BODY PER THE DIAGNOSIS AND STILL EXPERIENCING THIS ISSUE
