I HAVE BEEN HEARING A CLICKING NOISE AND MY CAR HAD BEGUN SOUNDING LIKE A JET ENGINE TAKING OFF FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS - VERY NOISY. I TOOK IT TO PEP BOYS WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS NORMAL FOR THE TRAILBLAZER TO BEGIN MAKING THIS NOISE SHORTLY AFTER 60K MILES. I WAS TOLD THE SERPENTINE BELT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, TENSIONER PULLEY AND THE IDLER PULLEY. I HAD THE NEW PARTS INSTALLED. NONE OF MY WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON THE DASHBOARD SO I ASSUMED WAS WELL AS THERE WAS NO OTHER INDICATION THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG. DRIVING MY CAR WITHIN 24 HOURS OF BEING FIXED, THE FAN CLUTCH SEIZED AND MY WATER PUMP BURST CAUSING CAR TO OVERHEAT IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION WHERE MY CAR THEN STALLED PUTTING ME AND MY CHILDREN AT RISK FOR INJURY. THE CAR ALMOST CAUGHT ON FIRE IT WAS SMOKING SEVERELY. SOMEONE HELPED ME MOVE MY CAR OUT OF THE BUSY INTERSECTION AND I CALLED MY HUSBAND AND A TOW TRUCK TO COME GET THE CAR. WHEN I GOT HOME AND LOOKED UP THE PROBLEMS AGAIN ON THE DEALER WEBSITE, I FOUND HUNDREDS OF FORUMS WHERE THE FAN CLUTCH HAS BEEN MENTIONED AND THE WATER PUMP TOO. A FAN CLUTCH ACCORDING TO THE MECHANICS I SURVEYED STATED THEY SHOULD LAST AT LEAST 100K OR MORE. THIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO GM AND THEY IGNORE IT. IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. ADDITIONALLY, MY SPEEDOMETER HASN'T WORKED FOR AT LEAST A YEAR AND WHEN I CALLED CHEVY THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $700 TO REPLACE IT WHEN IT IS NOT MY ISSUES. I DIDN'T CAUSE IT. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE WAS INOPERABLE AND THE SPEEDOMETER WAS PERMANENTLY STUCK AT 20 MPH. IN ADDITION, THE FUEL WARNING LIGHT WAS CONSTANTLY ILLUMINATED DESPITE HOW MUCH FUEL WAS IN THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 82,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000 UPDATED 11/16/11*LJ
THE SPEEDOMETER NO LONGER WORKS. AS THE WEATHER GETS COLDER, THE NEEDLE WILL GET STUCK IN THE 90-100 RANGE AND NOT RESET WHEN THE CAR IS TURNED OFF.I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THE CAR AND THIS STARTED HAPPENING ABOUT A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AS THE WINTER APPROACHES. IN THE SUMMER THE SPEEDOMETER SEEMS TO WORK FINE. YEARS AGO THE NEEDLE ON THE OIL GAUGE STOPPED WORKING. IT WAS GOING TO COST OVER $700.00 TO REPLACE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL SO DECIDED AGAINST THAT SINCE I CHANGE THE OIL REGULARLY. THE SPEEDOMETER IS A NECESSITY AND THE OCCURRING DEFECT SEEMS LIKE A VERY COMMON PROBLEM ON THIS MODEL. WHY ISN'T THIS BEING ADDRESSED? *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FUEL GAUGE FAILED AND THE FUEL GAUGE WAS READING AS EMPTY WHEN THE FUEL TANK WAS FILLED TO CAPACITY. THE MANUFACTURER DENIED ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 114,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 115,000. UPDATED 11/03/11 *BF
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL SENDING UNIT WAS BROKEN AND CAUSING THE FUEL GAUGE TO PROVIDE A CONSTANT EMPTY READING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER SENT A LETTER TO THE CONTACT ADVISING THAT THERE WAS SPECIAL COVERAGE FOR VEHICLE WITH 120,000 MILES OR LESS FOR A FREE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE TO THE CONTACT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 189,000.
AS I WAS DRIVING ON FLORENCE BLVD MY SPEEDOMETER QUIT WORKING AND THE OIL GAUGE WASNT REGISTERING BUT THE OTHERS WERE WORKING OK. NOW ALL OF THEM DO NOT WORK EXCEPT EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE ONE OR TWO OF THEM MIGHT START WORKING FOR AWHILE THEN THEY WILL STOP WORKING. WITH ALL THE OTHER COMPLAINTS IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND CHEVROLET SHOULD BE MADE TO FIX IT AT THEIR EXPENSE. THEY LET FAULTY PRODUCTS GO THRU QC NOW THEY NEED TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THANK YOU. *TR
THERE IS A POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUE RELATED TO THE SPARE TIRE WINCH OF GM VEHICLES THAT HAVE AN UNDERSIDE MOUNTED SPARE TIRE. I USED MY WINCH FOR THE FIRST TIME AND FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO LOWER THE TIRE FROM THE UNDERSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. YES, I HAD TO BREAK OUT THE OWNER'S MANUAL IN ORDER TO FIGURE OUT THE SECONDARY RELEASE! WHEN THE SERVICE STATION WENT TO PUT IT BACK UP, THEY TOLD ME THE WINCH WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY AGREED. I'M CLAIMING THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE AND A DESIGN FLAW. GM IS SAYING IT IS "NORMAL" WEAR & TEAR. I'M HAVING A HARD TIME SWALLOWING THIS SINCE IT HAS ONLY BEEN USED ONCE. NOW THEY ARE CLAIMING "ENVIRONMENTAL" FACTORS AND RUST, CAUSED BY SALT IN MY STATE. THEY ARE POINTING TO SOME LOOPHOLE IN THE MANUAL TO DENY RESPONSIBILITY. UNDERSTAND THAT I'M OUTSIDE OF THE 3/36 WARRANTY, BUT STILL BELIEVE THE COMPANY SHOULD STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT AND TAKE OWNERSHIP FOR THIS FLAW. IF THIS AREA IS PRONE TO RUST AND HAS A HISTORY OF FAILING (AS INDICATED ON MY AUTOMOTIVE FORUMS), WHAT IS TO KEEP THE SPARE TIRE FROM FLYING OFF DURING OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE. IF THIS SPARE WILL NOT SNUG UP TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BODY, IT SEEMS THAT HITTING A BUMP COULD CAUSE THE TIRE TO BREAK FREE OR ONE OF THE "RUSTED" COMPONENTS COULD CAUSE IT TO DROP EXPECTANTLY. I HAVE TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO GET THIS RESOLVED THROUGH MY LOCAL DEALER AND GM'S CUSTOMER CARE DIVISION, BUT THEY REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR A POOR DESIGN. *TR
WHILE DRIVING THIS MORNING ON THE HIGHWAY, MY SPEEDOMETER STOPPED WORKING. NOW THE GAUGE IS POINT DOWN AND WILL NOT REGISTER. *KB
AFTER FILLING UP MY TANK PRIOR TO A LONG DISTANCE TRIP TO FLORIDA I NOTICED THAT MY FUEL GAUGE READ EMPTY. I WAS FORCED TO ESTIMATE THE GAS MILEAGE AND HOPED I WOULDN'T RUN OUT OF GAS. SEVERAL WEEKS AGO I RAN OUT OF GAS ON A MAJOR STREET IN THE ATLANTA AREA AFTER I CALCULATED THAT I HAD STILL APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES BEFORE EMPTY. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER INTO A PARKING LOT NOT WITHOUT CAUSING A MAJOR BACK UP AND POTENTIALLY BEING INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT DUE TO SPEEDING DRIVERS IN THE AREA. I HAD CONTACTED GM IN THE PAST REGARDING THIS PROBLEM AND THEY APPARENTLY FEEL THAT THIS ISSUE IS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE VEHICLE. IT SEEMS A BIT FAR FETCHED THAT THIS IS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR WHEN ON EVERY CHEVY BLOG AND MESSAGE BOARD ALL YOU SEE IS FRUSTRATED CHEVY OWNERS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE. SEVERAL MONTHS AGO I RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION FROM GM RECOGNIZING THE PROBLEM AND OFFERING TO PAY HALF OF THE REPAIR COSTS. NOW, HOW INSULTING IS THAT??? YOU OBVIOUSLY NOW THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE QUALITY OF YOUR PRODUCT AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE YOU'RE HELPING US OUT BY PAYING FOR HALF OF THE REPAIR? THEY SHOULD ISSUE A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM AND STAND BEHIND THEIR SUPPOSED QUALITY PRODUCT. I HOPE THAT SOMEONE IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CAN ENTICE THESE SCAM ARTISTS TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE AND STOP PUTTING PEOPLE'S LIVES ON THE LINE IN AN EFFORT TO SAVE A BUCK!! *TR
FUEL LEVEL SENSOR STOPPED WORKING. *KB
WE ARE EXPERIENCING A DEFECTIVE GAS GAUGE--IT REGISTERS EMPTY OR IT MAY MOVE UP A BIT OR GO DOWN SOME. WE ARE UNABLE TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH FUEL WE ACTUALLY HAVE. I GO ON A TRIP OF 350 MILES ONE WAY EVERY MONTH TO VISIT MY MOTHER AND IT IS A CONSTANT WORRY. I AM SO AFRAID I WILL RUN OUT OF GAS ON THE TURNPIKE--WE JUST NEVER KNOW. WE DID GET A LETTER FROM GM SAYING THEY WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM-INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, THOUGH THEY WILL NOT PAY TO HAVE THIS DANGEROUS SITUATION AFFECTING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES FIXED--ONLY HALF, WHICH WE FEEL IS UNFAIR. THIS IS A PROBLEM AFFECTING A GREAT NUMBER OF PEOPLE, SIMPLY BY THE FACT THEY SENT THE LETTER--THEY NEED TO MAKE IT RIGHT BY PAYING FOR THE WHOLE REMEDY BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED AS A RESULT OF THIS FAULTY GAS GAUGE. WE WOULD LIKE TO BE A PART OF A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST GM FOR THE FULL PAYMENT. *KB
IN 2007 I PAID OFF MY VEHICLE AND NOW BECAME THE PROUD OWNER OF MY TRUCK. IN 2009, I NOTICED SOME PROBLEMS WITH MY TRUCK. FIRST, THE GAS GAUGE WOULD SAY "F" FULL, BUT REALLY IT WAS ON "E" EMPTY. THEN THE MILEAGE GAUGE ? I CAN BE ON THE EXPRESSWAY GOING AS FAST AS THE OTHER CARS, BUT MY CAR READS 20 MPH. THIS IS CRAZY!!!! I CALLED AT 800-NUMBER FOR GMC AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALLS OR ANY OTHERS CALLS FOR THE 2005 TRAILBLAZER, WHICH I KNEW WAS A HUGE LIE!!!! I DECIDED TO GO ON LINE AND GOOGLE THE MAKE AND MODEL OF MY CAR. WOW? GUESSES WHAT I SEEN? THERE WERE OVER 41,000 PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS THAT I HAD FOR THEIR 2005 TRAILBLAZER. AGAIN, THE PROBLEM WITH MY TRUCK HAS GOTTEN WORST. IN 2010, I CALLED AGAIN AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEIR STILL WASN'T ANY OTHER CALLS OR CONCERNS WITH MY TRUCK AND THAT I SHOULD TAKE IT TO AN AUTHORIZE CHEVY DEALERSHIP. WELL, I DID .. . IN 2011, I CALLED AGAIN.. SAME SCRIPT SAME STORY!!! I RECEIVED A LETTER FOR A EMISSION TEST FOR MY CAR. WELL, LET ME TELL YOU WHEN I TOOK MY VEHICLE UP TO THE EMISSION TESTING IT FAILED!!! . I GOT AN ESTIMATE COST OF $ 1900, PLUS THEY FOUND 3 ADDITIONAL CODES. . WELL, I GOT A 2008 CHEVY IMPALA. I WENT FROM PAYING NO CAR NOTE, TO $381.00 A MONTH NOTE. THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2011.. I RECEIVE A LETTER FROM CHEVROLET ADDRESSING THE ISSUES WITH THE 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZERS, AND OFFERING 50% ON REPAIRS FOR THE SAME PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE BEEN CALLING ON FOR 2 YEARS. INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE HEADLIGHTS AND DASH LIGHTS WILL GO DIM FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN RETURN TO NORMAL. THE VOLTAGE GAUGE ALSO DROPS, THEN RETURNS TO NORMAL. *TR
TWO DAYS AFTER FILLING TANK, I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE GAS GAUGE. I HAD DRIVEN ABOUT 250 MILES, BUT THE GAUGE STILL READ 3/4 FULL. MY WIFE THEN TOOK THE TRUCK TO WORK THAT AFTERNOON, THINKING THERE WAS 3/4 TANK OF FUEL LEFT SHE DID NOT FILL UP FOR THE 80 MILE ROUND TRIP. HALF WAY HOME AT 3:00 AM SHE RUNS OUT OF GAS IN THE WORST SECTION OF PHOENIX YOU CAN IMAGINE. AS SHE WORKS IN AN INNER CITY HOSPITAL, SHE DRIVES THROUGH THIS SECTION OF THE CITY DAILY AND WE HAVE ALWAYS MADE SURE SHE HAS A RELIABLE VEHICLE FOR THE TRIP. FORTUNATELY A POLICE OFFICER STOPPED AND STAYED WITH HER UNTIL AAA SHOWED UP. I WOULD HATE TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO A WOMAN ALONE IN A DRUG INFESTED AREA OF THE CITY WHILE HER VEHICLE BREAKS DOWN FOR A FAULTY FUEL GAUGE. *TR
MY SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE WOULD READ THE WRONG MPH AND START TO BOUNCE ALL OVER THE PLACE AND ABOUT A WEEK AFTER THAT STARTED IT JUST WASN'T WORKING ALL TOGETHER AND NOW DOESN'T MOVE AT ALL. *TR
MY SPEEDOMETER BEGAN TO WORK IMPROPERLY. SOMETIMES IT WOULD NOT GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO ZERO WHEN THE IGNITION WAS SWITCHED OFF, OR IT WOULD BE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY AND THEN FOR NO APPARENT REASON THE NEEDLE WOULD GO ALL THE WAY AROUND AND END UP POINTING AT THE PARK, NEUTRAL, REVERSE AREA AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SPEEDOMETER. NOW THE SPEEDOMETER DOES NOT WORK AT ALL AND THE TACHOMETER HAS STARTED TO WORK INTERMITTENTLY. IT IS DOING THE SAME THING THAT THE SPEEDOMETER WAS DOING. RIGHT NOW THE VEHICLE IS OFF BUT THE TACHOMETER NEEDLE IS ON 3. I JUST HAD THE FUEL SENSOR GAUGE REPLACED UNDER CHEVROLET'S "SPECIAL POLICY" BECAUSE IT HAD CEASED WORKING AS WELL. I HAVE SERIOUS RESERVATIONS ABOUT THE INTEGRITY OF THE OTHER GAUGES BECAUSE WHILE THEY APPEAR TO BE WORKING I DO NOT KNOW. I CONTACTED CHEVEROLET AND WAS TOLD THAT WHILE OTHER MAKES AND MODELS HAD BEEN RECALLED MINE HAD NOT. WHEN I INQUIRED AS TO WHETHER THE COMPONENTS FOR MY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CAME FROM THE SAME SUPPLIER AS THAT OF THE RECALLED VEHICLES I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD NOT DISCLOSE THAT INFORMATION TO ME BECAUSE IT WAS CONFIDENTIAL. THEY DID SAY THEY HAD OTHER COMPLAINTS SIMILAR TO MINE BUT AT THIS TIME THEY WERE NOT OFFERING ANY ASSISTANCE TO CONSUMERS AND DID NOT KNOW IF OR WHEN THEY EVER WOULD. I WAS TOLD THAT DUE TO THE AGE OF MY VEHICLE (A 2005) THAT I COULD EXPECT CERTAIN REPAIRS. I DO EXPECT CERTAIN REPAIRS HOWEVER A TOTAL FAILURE OF THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, THAT HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED ON MY MAKE AND MODEL AS WELL AS OTHER CHEVROLETS, IS NOT ONE OF THEM. IT IS FRUSTRATING AND DISHEARTENING TO ME THAT WHILE CHEVROLET IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM THEY KNOWINGLY DISREGARD THE CONCERNS OF THEIR CUSTOMERS, ESPECIALLY AS THE MALFUNCTION OF A FUEL GAUGE, SPEEDOMETER OR ANY OTHER INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPONENT COULD HAVE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES. *KB

THE LOW BEAMS ON MY WIFE 2005 TRAILBLAZER WENT OUT WHILE WE DRIVING HOME TO VA FROM SC. THEY STILL WONT WORK. APPARENTLY MINE AINT THE ONLY VEHICLE WITH THIS PROBLEM. WHY WONT CHEVY RECALL THEM AND REPAIR THEM. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN SHE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP, THE SPEEDOMETER WAS STILL ON 55 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THEY STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS THE BLOWER FOR MY AIR/HEAT/DEFROST HAS BEEN ACTING UP. SOMETIMES IT WORKS AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T. JUST RECENTLY IN THE LAST FEW DAYS IT STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY. I CAN'T USE MY DEFROST TO CLEAR MY WINDOWS OR USE MY AIR OR HEAT. I WAS TOLD THE RESISTOR AND HARNESS (WHICH STARTS TO MELT AND BURN) IS CAUSING THE BLOWER NOT TO WORK. I CHECKED WITH MECHANICS AND ON LINE AND THERE ISN'T A RECALL ON THE RESISTOR AND/OR HARNESS. THERE ARE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS AND WAS TOLD THAT IT IS HAPPENING IN ALL CHEVYS. *KB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER EXT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE WOULD NOT DISPLAY AN ACCURATE READING WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE STALLED ONCE DUE TO THE FUEL TANK BEING EMPTY WHEN THE FUEL GAUGE DID NOT INDICATE SUCH IN ITS READING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,400.
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER WITH A FAULTY FUEL GAUGE. A YEAR OR TWO AGO THE FUEL GAUGE STARTED WORKING INTERMITTENTLY. SOMETIMES IT WOULD SHOW AN ACCURATE READING AND OTHER TIMES IT WOULD NOT. NOW THE FUEL GAUGE JUST SHOWS EMPTY 100% OF THE TIME, NO MATTER HOW MUCH FUEL IS IN THE TANK. DUE TO THIS ISSUE, I HAVE RAN OUT OF FUEL AND STALLED SEVERAL TIMES. AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THEY ARE STATING THAT THE PROBLEM IS A BAD FUEL SENDING UNIT AND THE COST TO REPAIR IS OVER $600. RESEARCHING THE ISSUE ONLINE I HAVE FOUND THAT THIS SEEMS TO BE A WIDESPREAD ISSUE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND A RECALL NEEDS TO BE ORDERED. *KB

TRANSMISSION COOLER LINES ARE CORRODED AND LEAKING FLUID ALL AROUND THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL WELL. THESE LINES WILL NEED REPLACED BEFORE THE TRANSMISSION FAILS. THE FRAME IS SOAKED WITH TRANSMISSION FLUID AND THIS IS A POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD IF THE FLUID LEAKS ONTO THE EXHAUST OR CATALYTIC CONVERTER. *TR
WHEN TANK IS FULL, FUEL GAUGE READS AS EMPTY AND LOW FUEL LIGHT COMES ON. A LITTLE WHILE LATER, THE GAUGE WILL MOVE UP AND THEN BACK DOWN AND LIGHT WILL COME BACK ON. NOT SURE HOW MUCH GAS IS IN TANK BASED ON THE FUEL GAUGE. *TR
FUEL GAUGE HAS FAILED. GAUGE READS EMPTY, EVEN THOUGH FUEL TANK IS FULL. THERE ARE SPORADIC FLUCTUATIONS OF THE NEEDLE, BUT GAUGE IS NO LONGER RELIABLE FOR DETERMINING FUEL LEVEL IN THE VEHICLE. NUMEROUS REPORTS OF SIMILAR FAILURES IN THE CHEVY TRAILBLAZER / GMC ENVOY LINE OF VEHICLES INDICATE IT IS A FAILURE OF THE FUEL SENDING UNIT.

SINCE 2011 I'VE BEEN HAVING WRONG READING OF GAS LEVELS CAUSING MY VEHICLE TO SHUTOFF. PLUS MY PASSAGER AIR BAG DISPLAYS ON WHEN NO ONE IS SITTING IN SEAT AND WHEN SOMEONE IS SITTING IN PASSAGER SEAT IT OCCASIONALLY FLICKER ON AND OFF. RECENTLY SHOWED GOING 110MPH DESPITE TRAVELING ALONG WITH TRAFFIC FLOW OF APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH ON MAJOR INTERSTATE HIGHWAY. *TR

I OWN A 2005 TRAILBLAZER, THE FIRST PROBLEM HAD TO DO WITH THE GAS NOT PUMPING. IT WOULD CAUSE THE PUMP TO CUT OFF. THE PASSENGER SEAT'S PLASTIC SIDE BROKE OFF AND NOW THE DRIVER'S SEAT IS BROKE. THE DRIVER'S LUMBAR SELECTOR QUIT WORKING.THE SPEEDOMETER HAS STOPPED WORKING. I USE MY GPS.THEN THE FUEL GAUGE QUIT WORKING, THE "DUMMY LIGHT" STAYS ON ALL THE TIME. CD IS HUNG UP IN THE RADIO. THE FRONT FAN FOR AC/HEATING QUIT WORKING.THE OTHER FANS WORK AND THE AC COOLS.EVIDENTLY THERE ARE ALOT OF COMPLAINS WITH THIS CERTAIN MAKE/MODEL GM SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEMS. THEN I HAD A PROBLEM WITH HE PASSENGER SEAT'S SIDEPIECE POPPED OFF AND THEY FIXED THAT BUT NOW THE DRIVER'S SIDE HAS DONE THE SAME ALONG WITH THE LUMBAR SUPPORT QUIT WORKING.THEN THE SPEEDOMETER WENT CRAZY, IT WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND MADE A REAL BAD NOISE. THE DEALERSHIP QUOTED OFF IT WOULD BE OVER $400.00 TO FIX IT. THEN THE GAS GAUGE POPPED UP THE "DUMMY LIGHT" AS WE CALL IT WHEN GAS IS GETTING LOW. THE GAUGE QUIT REGISTERING THE AMOUNT OF GAS IN THE TANK. THEN DURING THE HEAT OF SUMMER THE FRONT FAN QUIT WORKING, THE AIR CONDITIONER WORKED AND THE OTHER FANS WORKED. I GOT A LETTER ABOUT THE GAS SENSOR AND HOW I WOULD HAVE TO PAY HALF OF IT. THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY NOT COUNTING THE COLLISION INSURANCE AND TAXES AND OTHER EXPENSES I HAVE PAID. THEY SHOULD BE GLAD TO HELP THE WORKING PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALWAYS BOUGHT CHEVROLETS. I WILL SAY THIS IF THEY DO NOT UPHOLD SOME KIND OF QUALITY ON THIS HIGH END AUTOMOBILE THE NEXT CAR I BUY WILL NOT BE AN AMERICAN BECAUSE THEY WON'T STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS.
