FRAME ROTTING OUT - HAS ROT HOLES - UNSAFE - REMAINDER OF TRUCK IS GOOD BUT WITHOUT A SOLID STRUCTURE THIS TRUCK IS UNSAFE AND USELESS. MANY TRAILBLAZER FRAMES DO NOT LAST AND ROT OUT FROM WHAT I'VE BEEN RESEARCHING. BAD PRODUCT GM.
The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while parked in her driveway, the passenger side door caught fire without warning. The fire occurred overnight and in the morning, the contact and her boyfriend discovered both her passenger side door and front passenger seat melted. The contact believed that the fire smoldered overnight and eventually burned out on its own. The fire department was not notified and a fire report was not filed. The contact called the dealer and was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The contact's boyfriend discovered that the wiring inside the door had melted which may have caused the fire. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be serviced or diagnosed. The failure mileage was approximately 206,000
I was driving on the highway just reaching 55 mph, that is when all of a sudden, my suv stalled out with no warning no sound nothing. I tried to restart it and sounded as if it was trying to start but wouldn't. after a couple of times of trying that is when a tow truck came and as he was putting my suv on the flat bed I noticed huge amount oil on the ground. I got it towed to Chevy dealership for service and that is when they told me that the 6th cylinder cracked also a rod went through causing a hole in the engine block. I asked what could have caused it, because I'm on top of my maintenance and my suv only had 94,000 miles on it. That is when he explained to me that it was nothing that I did and that there was nothing that I could've done to prevent it and that there was nothing I did wrong that caused it. So, the leaves me asking, isn't that a manufacturing issue?
While driving home at approximately 9:30pm, my eighteen year old daughter experienced the headlights failing to come on after dark with the automatic headlight-on feature. She turned on the headlights manually, and the low beams still were not working, but all driving lights and high beam headlights were working. I assumed that the bulbs were burned out, so replaced both the driver and passenger side bulbs. The low beam headlights still failed to come on either automatically or manually. I Googled the problem, and multiple people have reported this exact same problem, and some stated that there was a recall due to this problem. I am unable to find either a recall or a service bulletin for this issue.
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, MY GAS TANK NEEDLE WENT DOWN TO EMPTY ON A FULL TANK OF GAS AND WILL NOT COME BACK UP, AND IT STALLS. WHILE I WAS DRIVING.
THE POWER STEERING LINES BLOW
THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD IN MY 2008 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER HAS BROKEN NOW THREE TIMES. THE CHEVY DEALER HAS CHANGED THE MANIFOLD TWICE FOR FREE BUT NOW THEY NO LONGER WANT TO PAY FOR IT PLUS I ASKED IF THEY HAVE MADE A CHANGE TO THE CAST IRON MANIFOLD AND THEY TELL ME THE PART NUMBER CHANGED IN 2011 BUT MY FAILURES HAVE OCCURRED SINCE THEN SO I KNOW THE REPLACEMENT MANIFOLD I WILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. EXHAUST FUMES IN WINTER ENTER THE CABIN.
YES I WAS DRIVING ON THE 65 MILES AN HOUR IN THE PASSENGER LANE ARE CARPOOL LANE ALL THE SUDDEN FOR NO REASON BOTH CURTAIN AIRBAGS JUST DEPLOYED I HAD MY HEAD RIGHT NEXT TO KNOCK ME OUT COLD I DIDN'T PROCEED OVER AND HIT THE WALL 21 TIMES JUST SKIP DOWN IN WHEN I CAME TO I THOUGHT I WAS I THOUGHT IT AND OTHER VEHICLES LIKELY THAT WAS NOT THE CASE DID CAUSE SOME TESTA INJURY HURT MIGHT PULL MY CAR ALLEGEDLY FOR MY RIBCAGE IN GOT MY NECK IN MY HEAD I SEE THIS IS HAPPENED MANY TIMES THE 2008 BUT YET THEY KEEP SAYING THERE'S NO PROBLEM THAT EVEN THOUGH IT'S A 2% LEAN AND EXPOSED THE 16 FOR THE ROLE OVER TO KICK IN THAT ESCAPE SCREWING EVERYBODY YEAH THE VEHICLES ON THE HIGHWAY GOING STRAIGHT NO TURNS NO BOMBS NOTHING JUST DEPLOYED I HAVE VIDEO PICTURES OF THE WALL IT SCREWED UP MY RAMS AND OF COURSE THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE MESSED UP AND SHOW THE BACK AXLE IN THE PUMPKIN SO NOW THATS WHINING SO I KNOW IT'S GONNA FAIL SOON POWER STEERING LINKIN TRUCK NEVER LEAD TO DROP ANOTHER WITH SILENT AT THE GREAT V6 IN IT NOW THE FRONT END STEERING ALL SCREWED UP AND I CAN SEE THAT IT'S HAPPENED MANY MANY TIMES BEFORE
DIM HEADLIGHTS QUIT WORKING WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. BRIGHT LIGHTS WORKED, BUT NO DIMS.
THERE'S A PROBLEM AFTER BRAKING WHICH CAUSES A FEW SECOND DELAY WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A SLOW SPEED, SUPPOSEDLY PART OF THE STABILITRAK/ABS SYSTEM CAUSED BY A FAULTY SENSOR. I HAVE ALMOST HAD A COUPLE OF ACCIDENTS BECAUSE OF THIS WHEN WAITING TO TURN IN A LEFT TURN LANE.
REAR HATCH LICENSE PLATE LAMPS BLOWING OUT, FLICKERING ALSO HATCH LOCK CLICKS REPEATEDLY, WITHOUT TOUCHING ELECTRIC LOCK BUTTONS. WHEN OPENING THE HATCH THE LICENSE LIGHTS GO ON/OFF ON/OFF. THE HATCH LOCK CLICKS REPEATEDLY. THE HATCH WIRE HARNESS COVERED WITH A 'RUBBER BOOT/SLEEVE', WHEN MOVED CAUSES LOCK CLICKING AND PLATE LIGHTS FLICKERING. THE HATCH LOCK INTERMITTENTLY LOCKS BUT WILL NOT UNLOCK. VEHICLE USUALLY PARKED. OBVIOUSLY UNABLE TO SEE LICENSE LAMPS WHEN IN MOTION.
I was just sitting in a drive thru and my passenger side window just started smoking and now it will not go down.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2008 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE CRASHED AND REAR ENDED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT AT 53 MPH. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY AS WELL AS THE SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER FAILED TO ENGAGE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A SEVERE CONCUSSION & ALMOST BIT HIS TONGUE OFF WITH HIS HEAD SMASHING INTO THE WINDSHIELD. HE ALSO SUSTAINED CUTS AND BRUISES ON HIS LOWER BODY AND LEGS AND A BRUISED NECK. THERE WAS A PASSENGER IN THE OTHER VEHICLE THAT HAD TO BE TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL WITH INJURIES AS WELL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED WITH THE WHOLE FRONT SMASHED IN UP TO THE WINDSHIELD. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED YET. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 220,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. *LN*JB
MY 2008 TRAILBLAZER POWERS DOWN AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON ACCELERATION I FEEL THIS IS DANGEROUS TO CARS BEHIND ME
I WENT TO CLOSE MY HATCHBACK ON MY 2008 TRAILBLAZER YESTER AND AFTER CLOSING THE DOOR A FEW SECONDS LATER THE GLASS EXPLODED. SOME ON THE INSIDE OF THE CAR AND SOME ON THE OUTSIDE. THE TRUCK WAS PARKED. I NOW HAVE A CUT ON MY FINGER THAT MAY NEED STITCHES. I HEAR THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE TRUCKS.
WHILE TURNING LEFT AT LOW SPEEDS STABILITRAK ACTIVATES SHUTTING POWER OFF TO THE WHEELS ONCE YOU RELEASE GAS PETAL FOR 5-10 SECONDS STABILITRAK WILL RETURN TO NORMAL AND ALLOW POWER BACK TO WHEELS. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE IF YOU PULL OUT ON THE HIGHWAY OR ANY STREET AND YOU LOOSE POWER, YOU COULD GET HIT
LOW BEAMS STOPPED WORKING, TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WHO REPLACED BOTH BULBS AND IT WORKED FOR A COUPLE WEEKS NOW LOW BEAMS RANDOMLY SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. AIRBAG SENSOR KEEPS TURNING ON AND OFF AND THE HORN STOPPED WORKING. THE AIRBAG SENSOR SEEMS TO COME ON MORE ON LONGER TRIPS AROUND THE CITY WITH MORE TURNS.
I WAS DRIVING IN THE EVENING AND BOTH OF MY HEADLIGHTS CUT OFF AND WON'T COME BACK ON.
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AT NIGHT AND THE HEADLIGHTS JUST WENT OFF. NO WHITE LIGHTS ONLY THE AMBER LIGHTS WERE ON, THE NEXT DAY WHEN I TURNED THE CAR ON THE LIGHTS WERE WORKING. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR AFTER DARK.

I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND IT WAS RAINING PRETTY HARD. I HIT A POTHOLE THAT WAS NOT VISIBLE AND MY AIRBAGS, ONLY ON THE SIDES, DEPLOYED.
LEAKING POWER STEERING FLUID ALL THE TIME
MY 2008 TRAILBLAZER HAS A CRACKED MANIFOLD WITH 80,000 MILES ON IT.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS GO OFF INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING. UNABLE TO GET THEM TO COME BACK ON MANUALLY. COMES ON AND OFF AS IT PLEASES. HAVE ALREADY REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT RELAY TO NO AVAIL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHT DRIVER MODULE (HDM) FAILED TO FUNCTION PROPERLY, WHICH PREVENTED THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS FROM ILLUMINATING WHEN NEEDED. JACKSON CHEVROLET (660 S MAIN ST, MIDDLETOWN, CT 06457, (860) 316-4063) DIAGNOSED THAT THE HDM RELAY SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED THE SAME SYMPTOMS AS LISTED IN NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: RQ17002 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE YEAR WAS NOT INCLUDED IN MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER: 14291. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
IT BAG FOR FRONT DRIVER LIGHT IS ON DO NOT KNOW WHY? THERE IS SOME KIND OF ELECTRICAL SHORT AND I'VE HAD IT CHECKED BY TWO COMPANIES CANNOT FIND IT I'VE HAD NEW BATTERY, NEW ALTERNATOR AND STILL CAR STOPS WORKING I GET CAR JUMPED AND CAN PUT KEY IN IGNITION TO TRY TO START CAR AND WHEN I SHUT CAR OFF TOO SOON OR WHY I TRY TO START CAR IT'S NOT WORKING AND THEN I CANNOT GET KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 5 TIMES CAR ONLY HAS 84883 MILES ON IT THIS HAPPENES IF FRONT OF HOUSE WHEN I GO TO START CAR. I AM LISTING LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED WAS TODAY BUT THE AIRBAG FOR THE DRIVERS SIDE IS ALWAYS ON NOW FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS
WAS TRAVELING 40 MPH AND WAS HIT HEAD ON BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. WAS ON A CITY STREET WITH A 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT. GOING STRAIGHT.
MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. CALLED THE DEALER. BROUGHT IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THEY SCANNNED CODES (OUR TPS) LIGHT HAD BEEN ON. FAULTY PPS AIR BAG MODULE $1150.00 TO FIX IT. TOLD THEM GO AHEAD. WHAT COULD I DO, THIS IS THURSDAY. THERE WAS NO SENSOR TO BE FOUND, THEY SAID GM HAD A BACK ORDER OF THIS PART, WENT HOME (SLOWLY) THE DEALER SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME ON FRIDAY. CALLED THE DEALER SAID THEY LOCATED ONE IN KENTUCKY. I ASKED IF THEY COULD GET IT OVERNIGHT, TO WHICH THEY SAID NO. MY CONCERN IS IF AIRBAGS ARE SO IMPORTANT FOR 'SAFETY" PARTS READILY AVAILABLE PARTS SHOULD BE WITHIN A 24HR RANGE. SAFTETY IS MY CONCERN. TOLD THE DEALSHIP THAT WE WERE VERY SCARED AND UNHAAPPY. MAYBE ITS TIME TO LOOK AT OTHER CARS THE GMC IS NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE. THEY SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. I HOPE NO ONE GETS HURT WITHOUT AN AIRBAG.
ENGINE DIES WHILE DRIVING (LOSING PROPULSION, STEERING, BRAKES, ETC.) AND THE KEY WILL NOT RESTART WHEN TURNED FORWARD (IN NEUTRAL), WHILE COASTING, BUT WILL RESTART WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED BACK AND THEN FORWARD AGAIN. IN THIS CASE, COASTING DOWN AND BRAKING AND TURNING RIGHT, POSSIBLY WITH RIGHT TURN SIGNAL ON. DIED RIGHT BEFORE STARTING TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AT ABOUT 15-20 MPH. IT WAS A CLEAR DRY 100 DEGREE AFTERNOON, ON SMOOTH PAVEMENT. WE LIVE ON A BUMPY DIRT ROAD THAT IS JUST OVER A QUARTER OF A MILE LONG TO REACH OUR HOUSE. SIMILAR TO OTHER GM IGNITION KEY / NO AIR BAG RECALL PROGRAMS FOR SIMILAR MODEL YEAR VEHICLES, SUCH AS THE HHR. THERE IS NO RECALL, BUT HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES THIS HAPPEN TO? ANY DEATHS, YET? I DON'T BELIEVE THE AIR BAGS MAY HAVE WORKED, SHOULD WE HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. THERE WAS NO INFORMATION SHOWN IN THE DIVER INFORMATION CENTER DISPLAY (DIC) AND THERE WERE WARNING LIGHTS ON IN THE DASHBOARD, TO INDICATE THAT THE POWER WAS ON TO THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC), BUT THAT THE MOTOR WAS OFF. I COULD NOT SELECT BRAKES AND STEERING AS BEING AFFECTED, BUT WITH NO MOTOR, THERE IS NO VACUUM BRAKE BOOSTING GOING ON, AND NO POWER STEERING EITHER.
MY WINDOW IN THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE MALFUNCTIONING.... IT WOULD LET DOWN ON IT'S OWN.THIS HAPPENS WHEN MY VEHICLE IN DRIVE AND WHEN PARK.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DRIVER'S TIRE LOST TREAD WHILE BEING OPERATED AT 40 MPH. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO NAVIGATE THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO BIG O TIRES WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE TREAD HAD SEPARATED; HOWEVER, THEY COULD NOT EXPLAIN THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 35,000. THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE, DOT NUMBER, AND VIN WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
TIRE BLEW OUT AT 70 MPH ON FREEWAY CAUSING ME TO ALMOST CRASH INTO GUARD RAIL. I HAD TO PULL OFF EXIT IN UNFAMILIAR CITY IN A BAD AREA AND CALL EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. EVERY TIRE HAS LEAKED AIR SINCE PURCHASING AND HAS HAD TO BE RESEALED AND SIDEWALLS ALL LOOKED LIKE THEY ARE CRACKING APART. I HAVE CONTACTED COOPER SEVERAL TIMES TO GET NO SOLUTION AND A [XXX] RESPONSE. THEY ARE STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING MATTER FOR 2 AND HALF YEARS NOW! THE STORE WERE PURCHASED SAID I HAD TO CONTACT COOPER NOT THEM. EVERY TIRE IN THIS LINE HAS BEEN RECALLED EXCEPT THIS SIZE! NOW I GET TO SPEND ANOTHER $1000 ON NEW TIRES WHEN THESE AREN'T EVEN OUT OF WARRANTY BUT COOPER WON'T DO ANYTHING EVEN THO MY MECHANIC SAYS THEY ARE FAULTY. SMELLED GAS ODOR FROM REAR OF VEHICLE. CRAWLED UNDER AND FOUND GAS TANK LEAK AT THE CONNECTION OF FILLER PIPE TO TANK/CHECK VALVE. UNDERSTAND THIS WAS KNOWN DEFECT ON EARLIER YEARS AND TANKS WER COVERED BY A SPECIAL COVERAGE PLAN 14423. ANY EXTENSIONS FOR LATER (2008) MODEL YEARS?

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 185,000.
NUMEROUS TIMES I HAVE DRIVEN THIS VEHICLE AND IT CONTINUES TO DO THE SAME THING WHEN I REACH SPEEDS OF ABOUT 35 TO 40 MPH IT LOSES POWER, THE TACH. EVEN DECLINES IN IT'S READING. IT'S LIKE SOMEONE IS BEHIND ME WITH A ROPE, AND STEPPING ON THEIR BRAKES, SLOWING ME DOWN. THIS HAPPENS WHEN I'M GOING STRAIGHT DOWN A STREET, MAKING NO TURNS, AND LET IT BASICALLY IDLE ROLL DOWN THE STREET. ALL THE WHILE, IT IS IN GEAR, ENGINE RUNNING, AND IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET
SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON. THE CODE IS: B0026 DRIVERS SIDE FRONT DEPLOY.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND MY LIGHTS JUST WENT OFF. THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WERE ON BUT THE HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT. I STOPPED THE CAR, TURNED IT OFF, WAITED A FEW MINUTES AND TURNED IT BACK ON. THE LIGHTS DID NOT COME BACK ON. THE HIGH BEAM LIGHTS STILL WORKED AND I DROVE HOME WITH MY BRIGHTS ON. WHEN I GOT HOME AND TURNED OFF THE CAR I TRIED THEM AGAIN AND THIS TIME THEY CAME ON NORMALLY. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AT NIGHT THAT THEY JUST WENT OFF.
TRAVELING AT 55 MPH ON A FREEWAY, ENGINE STOPPED WITH NO NOTICE. SINCE THE ENGINE STOPPED, BRAKES AND STEERING EXPERIENCED GREATLY REDUCED CAPABILITY. I HAD TO STRUGGLE TO GET THE VEHICLE ON TO THE SHOULDER IN ORDER TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT. ONCE STOPPED, I GOT NO RESPONSE OF ANY KIND FROM THE STARTER, ALTHOUGH I HAD POWER TO THE BLOWER MOTOR, RADIO, AND POWER WINDOWS. AFTER 5 MINUTES, I WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR STARTED.I TURNED AROUND TO DRIVE HOME, AND 5 MINUTES LATER THE PROBLEM RECURRED EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. THE VEHICLE IS NOW IN THE SHOP FOR REPAIR AS IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. I PRESUME THAT I AM DEALING WITH A CATASTROPHIC IGNITION SYSTEM FAILURE OF THE TYPE THAT CAUSED GM TO ISSUE IT'S MASSIVE RECALL 5-6 YEARS AGO.

WHILE DRIVING BOTH OF MY HEADLIGHTS STOPPED WORKING. THIS EFFECTED BOTH DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS AND LOW BEAMS. HIGH BEAMS ARE STILL OPERATIONAL. RESEARCHING THE ISSUE EASILY SHOWS THAT THE ISSUE IS A FAULTY HEADLIGHT RELAY. I EVEN TRIED TO REPLACE BOTH BULBS AND CHECKED ALL FUSES TO VERIFY. I CONTACTED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF FREI CHEVROLET IN MARQUETTE MICHIGAN AND THEY REFUSED TO EVEN TELL ME IF THEY HAD THE PARTS IN STOCK TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. MY SON AND I WERE DRIVING 65 MPH ON THE INTERSTATE.... CAR JUST DIED, NO WARNING. I HAD TO VEER SUDDENLY TO THE RIGHT TO MAKE THE RAMP OR TAKE A CHANCE ON THE SHOULDER. SINCE THIS FIRST TIME THE CAR HAS ALSO NOT WANTED TO START. I THOUGHT IT HAD TO DO WITH THE ALARM LOCKING ME OUT , BUT IT APPEARS IT IS THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE CAR HAS ON MULTIPLY TIME DIED WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I'VE TRIED REACHING OUT TO CHEVY AND GM BUT, EACH IS WANTING ME TO PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTIC. I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND ON THIS. I DON'T WANT TO DIE BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY FOR THEIR FAULTY IGNITION. PLEASE HELP US.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE CRUISE CONTROL STARTED TO DROP, THE ENGINE STARTED TO LOSE POWER, AND ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND HAD INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO OPEN RECALLS. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
THE FUEL GAUGE IS FLUCTUATING FROM FULL TO EMPTY AND THE EMPTY LIGHT COMES ON. IT HAS OCCURRED A FEW TIMES NOW OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS. THE ISSUE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE A STALL CONDITION, IF THE VEHICLE RUNS OUT OF GAS UNKNOWINGLY DUE TO THIS INACCURATE GAUGE CONDITION. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RESEARCH SOME DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE OF THIS KNOWN ISSUE ON NHTSA, BUT HAVE NOT FOUND ANY SOLUTION BEING OFFERED BY GM.
75K ON 2008 TRAILBLAZER.... INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS AND AUDIO DISPLAY WORK INTERMITTENTLY. SEEMS TO BE CONNECTED TO COLD TEMPS? THEY ARE OFF AT STARTUP BUT AS SUV IS DRIVEN AND WARMS UP... THE AUDIO DISPLAY APPEARS. THE RADIO/CD PLAYER WORK EVEN WHEN THE DISPLAY IS OFF. JUST STARTED HAPPENING THIS FALL (2016). ALSO.. THE LOW TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT COMES ON ONLY IN COLD TEMPS BUT GOES OUT AFTER DRIVING A FEW MILES. *TR

I HAVE HAD MY 2008 TRAILBLAER FOR A YEAR NOW. I HAVE BEEN HAVING MAJOR ELECTRICAL ISSUES FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS INCLUDING MY BATTERY LIGHT AND OTHER POPPING UP RAMDONLY AND MY TRUCK NOT WANTING TO DRIVE OR RUN RIGHT. NOW MY EXHAUST MANIFOLD IS COMPLETELY CRACKED THRU,
HAD EXHAUST MANIFOLD REPLACED AT LOCAL GM DEALER UNDER WARRENTY IN 6/26/13 NOW HAVE SAME PROBLUM EXHAUST MANIFOLD MAKING LOUD NOISE. HAD 80112 MILES WHEN FIRST DONE NOW WHEN HAPPENED WAS2/22/16 THE MILES WERE 109482, WITCH IS ONLY 29370 MILES WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS THIS SHOULD BE FIXED AGAIN BY THEM.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 28,000.

THE INSURANCE COMPANY INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND INDICATED THAT IT WAS A MANUFACTURER FAILURE THAT NEEDED TO BE INVESTIGATED AND REPAIRED. THE INSURANCE COMPANY REFUSED TO REPAIR THE AIR BAG FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER INDICATED THAT THERE WAS NO POTENTIAL DEFECT WITH THE PREMATURE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AT THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE DUE TO THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 127,000.
ON A EXIT RAMP (CONCRETE) GOING ABOUT 30 MPH WHEN BOTH SIDE AIR BAGS UNEXPECTEDLY DEPLOYED, BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR, NO BRAKING, PUMPING THE BRAKE CORRECTED THEM AND STOPPED THE CAR. BRAKES NOW SEEM NORMAL. BOTH FRONT SEAT BELTS ARE NOW LOCKED. THE CAR HAS NO DAMAGE ON THE BODY OR TIRES. G M HAS OPENED A CASE FOR US. WAITING THEIR CALL BACK.
