Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)WHILE TRYING TO PRESS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR, IT HANGS UP MID-TRAVEL. APPLYING ADDITIONAL PRESSURE CAUSES THE PEDAL TO TRAVEL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. THE DEALER SAYS THIS IS "NORMAL". ACCELERATOR PEDAL TRAVEL SHOULD BE SMOOTH AND LINEAR; ANYTHING ELSE IS UNACCEPTABLE. JUST ASK TOYOTA.
MY VEHICLE HAS THE FUEL ECONOMY SHUTDOWN SYSTEM AND IT'S NOT WORKING. IT USED TO SHOT DOWN WHILE ON A STOP AND THEN RESTART WHENEVER THE BREAKS WERE NOT ENGAGED NOW IT'S NOT DOING ANYTHING. THE AUTO STOP DOESN'T WORK IT'S STAYS ON A HIGH IDLE AT ALL TIMES
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
