I AM WRITING THIS COMPLAINT IN RESPONSE TO MY 2012 200 CHRYSLER WHICH HAS COMPLETELY LOST ALL POWER. IT STARTED OUT WITH THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPING ON ME AND THEN ONE DAY WHILE DRIVING THE CAR I LOST POWER. THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND THE CAR CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. LUCKILY I WASN'T ON THE HIGHWAY AND WAS PULLING INTO THE PARKING LOT OF MY OFFICE BUILDING. AFTER SPEAKING WITH CHRYSLER I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO SINCE THIS PART IS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. IT SEEMS STRANGE TO ME THAT THIS PART ON MY CAR HAD A RECALL FOR THE SOFTWARE A FEW YEARS AGO AND NOW THE HARDWARE IS BAD. I SEE A TON OF COMPLAINTS ON THIS VERY ISSUE INCLUDING A LAWSUIT. IF SAFETY IS OF CONCERN, IT WOULD SEEM LIKE THEY WOULD ANYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO HELP THE CONSUMER.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V668000 (SEAT BELTS, AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT A SECOND NOTIFICATION WOULD BE SENT TO OWNERS IN JUNE OF 2017. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
CAR IS STALLING UNEXPECTEDLY WHEN SLOWED DOWN OR STOPPED AT AN INTERSECTION. TOWED TWICE. TAKEN CAR TO THREE DIFFERENT MECHANICS, INCLUDING THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. PAID OVER $1000 AND STILL STALLING. FIRST TWO MECHANICS COULD NOT FIGURE IT OUT SO TOOK TO DEALERSHIP. THEY STATED IT WAS THE THROTTLE BODY AND BACK BRAKES. PAID $960, PICKED UP AND DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT HOME BEFORE IT STALLED TWICE. NOT EASILY RESTARTED. THIS CAR STALLED ON ME, WHILE 5 MONTHS PREGNANT AND TWO SMALL CHILDREN IN THE CAR WHILE TURNING LEFT ACROSS THE LANE OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND ANOTHER TIME SO MY HUSBAND IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY INTERSECTION. I HAVE RESEARCHED THAT THIS IS OR HAS HAPPENED TO MANY CHRYSLER OWNERS AND WAS RATED LOW RISK AND NOT RECALLED. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW HOW THIS IS LOW RISK?
ENGINE SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. IT HAPPENS ON THE FREEWAY, ON CITY STREETS, OR AT IDLE. WE HAD THE PCM UPDATED IN DECEMBER 2016. IT IS NOW MARCH 2017 AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUES TO SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING OR AT IDLE. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. THE BRAKES BARELY WORK AND YOU LOSE POWER STEERING WHEN THIS HAPPENS. THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. THERE ARE HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF POSTS ONLINE ABOUT THIS ISSUE, WITH NO RESOLUTION. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE SOMEONE DIES.

THE CONTACT INQUIRED ABOUT PART AVAILABILITY AND WAS INFORMED THAT OWNERS WOULD RECEIVE A SECOND NOTICE WHEN THE PART BECOMES AVAILABLE, WHICH MAY BE IN JUNE OF 2017. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE OVERHEATED AND STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE AND RADIATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
A FEW WEEKS AGO, THE TRANSMISSION FAILED WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, LEFT ME STRANDED, AND WITHOUT A CAR FOR TEN DAYS. IT SEEMS THAT CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF A DRUM ISSUE WITHIN THE TRANSMISSION IN THIS MAKE AND MODEL VEHICLE AND IN FACT HAS MANUFACTURED A SPECIFIC 'REPAIR KIT' FOR JUST THIS SCENARIO. THIS REPAIR COST ME OVER $2,600, INCLUDING A THREE DAY CAR RENTAL FOR A PERIOD WHERE I COULD NO LONG BEG RIDES TO WORK AND HAD TO RENT A CAR AT MY OWN EXPENSE. ATTACHED ARE THE REPAIR AND RENTAL CAR BILLS. IN MY 40 YEARS OF CAR OWNERSHIP, INCLUDING SEVERAL NEW CARS, I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH SIGNIFICANT ISSUE BEING EXPERIENCE IN A VEHICLE WITH SUCH LOW MILEAGE, 61,800, ON A WELL AND REGULARLY MAINTAINED VEHICLE. THEREFORE, I RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT YOUR ADMINISTRATION REVIEW THIS INCIDENT AND RECORD THEM AS A PART OF A LARGER CASE DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE CHRYSLER 'DO THE RIGHT THING' AND INITIATE A RECALL (SILENT OR PUBLIC) TO CORRECT THIS KNOWN TRANSMISSION ISSUE.

WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE DEFROSTER STOPPED WORKING IN A SNOW STORM AND THE CONTACT COULD NOT CLEAR ICE/SNOW FROM THE WINDSHIELD IN ORDER TO SEE PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 81,000.
MY CAR HAS 42K MILES. AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON. SECOND ISSUE IS A CLUNKING NOISE IN LEFT FRONT WHEEL AND CAN BE FELT IN STEERING WHEEL WHILE IN MOTION.
I HAVE TO REPLACE MY BRAKES EVERY 2 TO 3 MONTHS AND IT HAS BECOME VERY COSTLY FOR ME. I HAVE TO REPLACE MY ROTATORS TWICE A YEAR.
TOTALLY INTEGRATED CONTROL MODULE HAS FAILED LEAVING MY CAR UNABLE TO START AND ONCE STARTED HAVE LURCHES IN ACCELERATION. WILL CRANK BUT NOT START.
I'M DRIVING THE CAR JUST SHUTS OFF, IT SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING WITH THE PCM THAT WERE TO REPLACE. THIS WAS VERY SCARY AND DANGEROUS. THIS HAPPENED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION TRAFFIC FLOWING AND THE CAR STOPS. IT'S HARD TO TURN OR BRAKE TO GET OUT THE WAY OF COMING TRAFFIC.
MY CAR RECEIVED A SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR THE PCM ON 3/2/2017. ON 03/6/2017 MY CAR SHUT OFF COMPLETELY IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE.
I RECEIVED NOTICE OF RECALL S61 FOR REPLACEMENT OF OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER IN NOVEMBER 2016. I REGISTERED TO BE TOLD WHEN REPAIRS COULD BE MADE WITH MOPAR.COM AS OF THIS DATE I AM TOLD THE PARTS FOR THIS REPAIR ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE I BELIEVE ADEQUATE AMOUNT OF TIME HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THE COMPANY TO SECURE THE PARTS. CAN YOU FACILITATE THIS FOR ME?
THE PASSENGER SIDE HEATING VENTS BLOW COLD AIR AND THE WINDSHIELD WILL NOT DEFROST ON THAT SIDE CAUSING A SAFETY HAZARD. NOT TO MENTION I LIVE IN MONTANA AND IT'S SERIOUSLY COLD THEN HAVING COLD AIR BLOWING IN THE CAR IS HORRIBLE.
THE PASSENGER SIDE HEAT IS NOT WORKING, THIS APPEARS TO BE A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH THIS MAKE AND MODEL. THE ISSUE GET WORST OVERTIME AS IT IS NOW AFFECTING MY ABILITY TO PROPERLY DEFROST MY PADSANGER SIDE WINDSHIELD AS WELL AS THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW WHICH IS CAUSING A SAFETY CONCERN DUE LIMITING MY VISIBILITY . THIS IS DRIVING HAZARD TO ME AND OTHER DRIVERS DURING THE WINTER.
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR.. THE CARS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING. WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY THE CAR SHUT DOWN AND WAS ALMOST IN SEVERE CAR ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THE ISSUE.THERE IS A NEW BATTERY AND THE ALTERNATOR HAS BEEN CHECKED AND IS IN GREAT WORKING CONDITION.
"TAKATA RECALL" AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY. I HEARD A SAFETY DING AND I NOTICED MY AIR BAG SAFTEY LIGHT WAS ON. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND TOLD ME IT WAS TO DUE THE THE AIRBAG SENSOR AND COULD NOT BE FIXED AT THIS TIME. THAT WAS BACK IN THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR. TO DATE THERE IS NO REMEDY.
PASSENGER SIDE HEATER DOES NOT WORK WINDSHIELD AND SIDE WINDOWS ICE OVER IN COLD WEATHER SO I CAN'T SEE WHILE DRIVING WEATHER HAS WARMED NOW BUT PROBLEM IS THE SAMR
I RECEIVED A LETTER BACK IN JANUARY THAT A VEHICLE I OWN HAS A SAFETY RECALL OF "LOSS OF AIRBAG AND SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER DEPLOYMENT CAPABILITY DURING A CRASH. I EMAILED THEM BACK IN FEBRUARY AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO WAIT THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, I EMAILED AGAIN IN APRIL WAS TOLD THE SAME THING IT IS NOW AUGUST. MY SON DRIVES THIS CAR, WOULD THEY BE SO LAID BACK IF IT WAS ONE OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS ? I WOULD APPRECIATE IT, IF YOU COULD TELL ME HOW I CAN TAKE THIS FURTHER. THANK YOU
THE HEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE IS NO LONGER WORKING AND THEREFORE THE WINDOWS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WILL NOT DEFROST. AFTER PERFORMING SOME RESEARCH ONLINE IT APPEARS THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH THE HEATER CORE THAT CHRYSLER KNOWS ABOUT.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND STATED THAT PARTS FOR THE RECALL REPAIR WERE NOT AVAILABLE AND THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHETHER THE AIR BAG INDICATOR ILLUMINATING WAS DUE TO THE RECALL OR NOT. THE CONTACT SPOKE TO CENTRAL JEEP CHRYSLER DODGE RAM OF NORWOOD (56 BOSTON-PROVIDENCE TURNPIKE, NORWOOD, MA 02062) WHO STATED THAT PARTS FOR THE RECALL REPAIR WERE NOT AVAILABLE; HOWEVER, THEY COULD DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE FOR A FEE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
PASSENGER SIDE DOES NOT HAVE ANY HEAT COMING OUT OF THE VENTS, OR DEFROSTERS. ONLY THE FAR DRIVER SIDE PRODUCES SMALL AMOUNT OF WARMTH. BEING THAT I LIVE IN WISCONSIN, IT HAS BECOME HAZARDOUS FOR ME TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE IN THE WINTER FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. NOT BEING ABLE TO UNFOG, OR DEFROST YOUR WINDOWS IS UNBELIEVABLY DANGEROUS! ASIDE FROM THE DANGERS OF DRIVING AT TIMES WITH ONLY HALF OF A CLEAR WINDSHIELD, MY PASSENGERS AND I FREEZE INSIDE THE VEHICLE DURING THE WINTER! THE ONLY WAY TO CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD AND PASSENGER WINDOW IS TO PERIODICALLY OPEN THE WINDOWS WHILE DRIVING, WHICH ONLY MAKES THE INSIDE TEMPERATURE THAT MUCH MORE UNBEARABLE.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MINS AND PARKING THE VEHICLE, A LOUD BANGING NOISE, STEAM AND SMOKE WAS PRESENT COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DETERMINED THAT THE PLASTIC RADIATOR HOSE CONNECTOR HAD FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
MY VEHICLE HAS NO HEAT COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE VENTS. THE HEATER CORE IS PARTLY PLUGGED. I WORKED FOR CHRYSLER AS A MECHANIC UP UNTIL A FEW MONTHS AGO. I HAVE PERSONALLY RUN INTO THIS SAME ISSUE WITH CUSTOMER CARS AS WELL AS SEVERAL OTHER TECHS. CHRYSLER WILL NOT COVER THE REPAIR DUE TO IT NOW BEING OUT OF BASIC WARRANTY.
CLUNKING NOISE IN THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL. VEHICLE DRIVE STRAIGHT BUT THERE IS A CLUCKING SOUND THAT CAN ALSO BE FELT IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE DRIVING. IT HAPPENS NOW ALL THE TIME WHEN DIVING HIGHWAY OR SIDE STREETS LOWER SPEEDS SEEM WORST UNDER 40 MPH, STARTED A FEW MONTHS AGO AND GETTING LOUDER.

MY 2012 CHRYSLER 200 ; 2.4L ENGINE HAS NO HEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE - NO HEAT ON DEFROSTER, FLOOR, OR OUT VENTS. DEALER SAID THERE IS BUILD UP IN COOLING SYSTEM (STAR CASE #1207000008) ; RECOMMENDS REPLACING HEATER CORE, RADIATOR, THERMOSTATS, ENGINE OIL COOLER - EST $2000.00 REPAIR. NO HEAT DURING DEFROSTING CAUSING WINDSHIELD FOGGING AND REDUCED VISIBILITY DURING COLD WEATHER. THIS STARTED JAN 2, 2017 AND IS ONGOING.
THE PASSENGER SIDE OF MY DEFROST/VENTS DOES NOT WORK--IT REMAINS COLD EVEN ON HIGH HEAT AND DRIVER SIDE HOT. THE WINDSHIELD AND PASSENGER WINDOW REMAIN FOGGY OR ICE COVERED, OR AFTER REMOVING THE FOG OR ICE IT REBUILDS FOG OR ICE WHILE TRAVELING ON HIGHWAYS WHILE SNOWING, EXTREMELY LIMITING VISIBILITY. THIS WINTER HAS BEEN QUITE DIFFICULT TO DRIVE SAFELY DUE TO THIS CONDITION.

AS A RESULT, THERE WAS LIMITED VISIBILITY FOR THE DRIVER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PAT CLEMMONS INC LOCATED AT 1720 S. MARSHALL ST. BOONE IA, (515)432-5150 TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HEATER COIL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
WHEN I TURN ON THE HEAT, THE PASSENGER SIDE VENTS BLOW COLD AIR. THIS IS A PROBLEM TO DRIVE USING MY AIR/HEAT BECAUSE IT'S DRAINING MY COOLANT. THIS CAUSES MY TEMPERATURE GAGE TO RISE. THIS HAPPENS REGARDLESS OF MY CAR BEING STABLE OR IN MOTION. THIS, AT TIMES, ALSO CAUSES MY WINDSHIELD TO BECOME FOGGY. *TR
THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE AIRBAG AND SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER DEPLOYMENT CAPABILITY ON MY CAR THAT STARTED ON OCTOBER 1, 2016. WHEN I GOT THE RECALL NOTICE IN OCTOBER IT SAID THAT THERE WAS NO CURRENT REMEDY. IT'S NOW DECEMBER AND THERE STILL IS NO REMEDY WHICH MEANS THAT THE PROBLEM WON'T BE FIXED IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE WHICH IS OUTRAGEOUS. IF OUR LIVES ARE AT RISK BECAUSE A CAR COMPANY CAN'T GET OFF ITS [XXX] AND FIX THIS, THEN THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO INTERVENE. I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY CAR BECAUSE IN THE BACK OF MY MIND I KNOW THAT IT MIGHT NOT PROTECT ME COMPLETELY IF I GET IN A CRASH WHICH SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. THERE IS NO HEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. CHRYSLER SERVICE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS A BLOCKAGE IN THE HEATER CORE. THEY ADVISE THAT THEY NEEDED TO REPLACE THE HEATER CORE, RADIATOR, OIL COOLER AND FLUSH THE SYSTEM. THIS WORK WAS ESTIMATED AT $2,700. I TOOK THE CAR TO ANOTHER SHOP AND HAD THE HEATER CORE REPLACED, THE COOLING SYSTEM FLUSHED AND A MANUAL FLUSH ON THE ENGINE BLOCK. THIS FIXED THE PROBLEM FOR MORE THAN HALF THE COST. THERE ARE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SAME ISSUE AND IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD IF YOU CANNOT DEFROST THE WINDSHIELD WHEN NECESSARY. I BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TICKETED FOR NOT HAVING SAFE VISIBILITY WHEN OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE SO THIS IS DEFECT THAT THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD CONSIDER ISSUING A SAFETY RECALL FOR. MY CAR ONLY HAS 72,000 MILES SO IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT A MAJOR COMPONENT LIKE THE HEATER CORE WOULD BE DAMAGED AND NOT WORK PROPERLY.
THE HEADLIGHT ILLUMINATION OF THE 2012 C/200 IS DRIVING BLIND AT NIGHT AND DANGEROUS. THERE IS AN EXTREMELY LIMITED FIELD OF VISION AND FEELS LIKE DRIVING WITH CURTAIN OVER THE LIGHTS. THE LIGHT AIMS REAL LOW AND THE BULB IS TOO SMALL. USING HIGH BEAM IS NOT MUCH BETTER. SEVERAL TIMES I CAME VERY CLOSE TO HITTING ANOTHER CAR AND PERSON. I FEEL LIKE I AM DRIVING BLIND AND HAVE CONFINED MYSELF TO NOT DRIVING AT NIGHT. THERE HAS TO BE A REMEDY FOR THIS PROBLEM. *TR
MY VEHICLE HAS ROUGHLY 54,000 MILES. THE HEAT DOES NOT WORK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE AND IS PROGRESSIVELY BECOMING COLDER ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CAR WILL NOT REACH A WARM ENOUGH TEMPERATURE TO BE COMFORTABLE OR TO ADEQUATELY DEFROST THE WINDSHIELD. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE TO CHRYSLER AND SHOULD BE RECALLED. NO HEAT/ DEFROST PASSENGER SIDE. WILL NOT CLEAR FROST/ FOG ON PASSENGER SIDE WINDSHIELD. APPARENT KNOWN PROBLEM WITH SLUDGE BUILD UP IN HEATER CORE ALLEGEDLY CAUSED BY COMPONENT IN COOLANT.
I HAVE REPORTED IN THE PAST IN REGARD TO OUR 2012 CHRYSLER 200 WITH 3.6 V6 ENGINE OF EPISODES OF PMU SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING AT SLOW SPEED. THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY STILL COVERED THE VEHICLE WHEN WE FIRST EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM WE NOW ARE OVER 60,000 MILES AS CHRYSLER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM YET. THE ENGINE QUIT WHILE DRIVING (3 TIMES ADDITIONAL TIMES), AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. WE WERE ABLE TO GET TO THE SHOULDER OF THE HIGHWAY , WITHOUT POWER STEERING AND BRAKES; ALL COMPUTER SUPPORT SYSTEMS FAILED, BUT ALL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS STILL WORKED. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CHECKED 4 TIMES AFTER EACH OF THE STALLING EPISODES, THE PMU COMPUTER SHOWS NO CODES (PER CHRYSLER AND THE DEALER) THERE IS NO PROBLEM TO FIX. THE LAST EPISODE THE ESC DASH LITE CAME ON, FOLLOWED BY THE BRAKE AND THE ABS LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING ON & OFF WHICH CAUSED THE SPEEDOMETER TO BOUNCE UP AND DOWN WHILE THE ABILITY TO MAINTAIN SPEED OR ACCELERATE TO MAINTAIN SPEED WAS LOST(AGAIN THERE WERE NO CODES) THE LAST 2 TIMES THIS HAPPEN WERE 11/30/16 & 12/1/16. I HAVE TALKED TO CHRYSLER FIAT BUT THE DEALER ANI I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RECEIVE ANY SERVICE OR SUGGESTION IN RESOLVING THIS PMU PROBLEM. IT FEELS LIKE THEY ARE NOT CONCERNED THAT THERE IS A GREAT SAFETY ISSUE THAT COULD RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH. THERE SHOULD BE SOME INFORMATION AVAILABLE, AS THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM THAT HAVE BEEN ONGOING FOR MANY MODELS WITH THE 3.6 V-6 ENGINE AND OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS, WHICH CHRYSLER HAS ISSUED CUSTOMER SERVICE NOTICES TO DEALERS AND REPLACED PMU. RECALLS HAVE BEEN AVOIDED AS THERE HAS NOT BEEN ANY SERIOUS ACCIDENTS, INJURIES, OR DEATHS. IF YOU HAVE HAD THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM WITH YOUR 3.6 V6 CONTACT CHRYSLER AND THE NHTSA.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY NEVER HEARD OF THE FAILURE BEFORE AND ASKED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.
PASSENGER SIDE PUSHES OUT COLD AIR, TERRIBLE TO DRIVE IN AND UNCOMFORTABLE. BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 YEARS. ALTERNATOR AS WELL. WHILE DRIVING TO WORK, MY WINDSHIELD FROSTED OVER FROM BEING SO COLD AND I HAD TO VEER OFF THE ROAD TO AVOID GETTING INTO AN ACCIDENT.
SYSTEM HEATING. WHEN TURNING ON THE HEAT, THE SYSTEM BLOWS COLD AIR ON TWO MID AIR VENTS AND THE PASSENGER SIDE VENT. THE ONLY HEAT THAT IS FELT COMING FROM DRIVERS SIDE VENT. BROWN OR TAN SLUDGE IN RECOVERY TANK AND ON RADIATOR CAP
